• Stephen (10/5): Serenity in La Serenissima - The space and level of comfort was of an exceptional standard. The rooms were clean, tidy and welcoming for our arrival. Cannareggio is a beautiful neighbourhood, maybe the most beautiful in Venice which means it's the most beautiful in the world. It is quiet and conveniently located for transport by water or rail. It has a variety of bars and restaurants, many of them reasonably priced and of good quality. It has a sense of a real local community which you feel you become part of during your stay in this exceptional apartment. Our host, Roberto, was a tremendously helpful guide to the area and to the wider life and culture of the city. Everything was just as we wanted it.

Our host Roberto and his wife Donatella were very responsive, and it was nice to meet them both. the apartment was extremely clean, and the kitchen has everything you would ever need. The bed was very comfortable, and the neighborhood was very quiet for sleeping. We could not be happier with this booking and the very kind hosts! Not a thing, this apartment was 100% fabulous!
• Wendy (10/5): - So many things to like: 1) our host Roberto who met us st the suite and spent a good deal of time providing advice on where to go how to get there ("walk, walk walk"), and offered some yummy restaurant ideas. He grew up in the area and knows it so well. 2) The location is soooo perfect, close to the train station and the walkway to the Ruslto or St. Mark's, no more than 20 minutes away. 3) The suite itself was so immaculately clean and cozy though very roomy, and well appointed. Thevphotos don't do it justice. We highly recommend Asteria Venetian Suite. Last time we were in Venice we stayed in a hotel that was not even close to as good an option.

• Ratačova (10/5): - We liked apartment very much, it is conveniently located not far from train station, but it is not noisy, and street overall was very quiet. Roberto was very welcoming, gave really great recommendations about the city and local food places, apartment was very clean, spacious and very beautiful, it looks even better live than on the pictures, it also had all necessary appliances. So viel Platz ist purer Luxus, vor allem in einer Stadt wie Venedig. Der Gastgeber ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und gibt gern Auskunft, wenn man mehr über die Stadt, die Lokale in der Umgebung, die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten usw. wissen möchte. The apartment was comfortable and roomy and homely with everything we needed. It was a 15 minute walk to the train and the location was fairly quiet but near reastaurants and transportation. There wasnt really anything!

The shower, stove and other amenities are all uncomplicated and user friendly. Roberto goes over and above to help in any way he can, and gives good advice about the best way to enjoy Venice. The unit is tastefully furnished, and you feel at home. Nothing.

The host was very thoughtful, for example providing detergent and clothespins for laundry and a water purifier in the kitchen. Our host, Roberto, was reliable and humorous. He gave us an interesting explanation of the city of Venice. The living room, filled with sunlight, was beautiful. Warm brown antique furniture, made us feel very relaxed. • Marlea (10/5): Perfect stay in Venice - This apartment was absolutely perfect! I couldn't believe the price for such a big space. It was immaculately clean and extremely well thought-out for anything you'd need for a few days in Venice. It wasn't right in the middle of the touristy neighborhood, but after a day of being shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers, I was thrilled to come back to our calm little haven at the end of the day. It was also close to an airport ferry/vaporetto stop which was nice. I would love to stay here again next time I'm in Venice!

• Lada (10/5): Legendary apartment - A legendary apartment with a unique character, I felt as if I was staying in an Italian film. Size-wize, it is huge)) I wished my family was with me, plenty of space for 3 people. Location is a top one, 7 minutes walk from Santa Lucia railway station, close to historic center, there are a couple of good restaurants around the corner. The kitchen equipment works fine, as well as the washing machine, which was very useful.The host, Roberto, is very helpful and attentive, met me in person and gave plenty of useful recommendations. I really enjoyed my short stay (also, it was Carnival time!). I hope I could stay in this apartment again! Roberto warned me, that old apartments are not exactly sound-proof, so if you are sensitive to the noise, use earplugs.

The apartment is located in a quiet block of flats with a grocery store and several eateries nearby. We would have benefitted from written instructions on how to use the washing machine - Roberto did tell us but the different cycles confounded us! :)
• Nanda (10/5): Great apartment and host, who takes pride in ensuring in person all is good order. - The apartment is like a home in the city of Venetia. The apartment kept the old style look and feel and is exceptionally clean and has all you need and worth staying for more than 3 days to enjoy Venetia and explore all the little streets and islands. Only has Italian tv, which is not the end of the world, just bring your own devices (iPad etc) if you want to read, news or a movie before you settle in for the night.
• Gunita (10/5): Exceptional - In every aspect Asteria is an ideal place to stay in Venice for a short or longer period of time. There is just everything you may need. You can even see the Cannaregio canal, from one of the windows! You have a small private patio, where you can dry your clothes or look at the stars. It is a classy place and very easy to get to from anywhere you arrive in Venice. Many thanks to Roberto for making me feel so welcomed! He also has the perfect sense of what information exactly is that you may need.
• Kass (10/5): Perfect stay and accommodation in the Perfect city - Everything! Roberto is wonderful with his meet and greet and explanation of everything. He is happy to answer questions and make sure you have all the information you need. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. The bedroom is lovely with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The lounge and dining room are delightful with space and everything one needs. The bathroom is good with a washing machine which was handy. This is in a quiet area but also very close to shopping and restaurants. It was lovely to walk from the train station and not have to go over bridges to get to the apartment, so it was a wonderful easy walk. We would highly recommend this apartment and when we return would certainly book this again. Cannot fault the place or think of anything that we did not like, except we had to leave. This place had everything we needed, and it was definitely a home from home.

He took the time to orientate us to the city and checked in to make sure everything was up to our expectations. Loved having a separate kitchen and living room space. Decor was classy, but more Grandmas style.
• Neeckey (10/5): A well-located and -equipped quiet classic apartment - The apartment was super well-equipped, you will have everything you need once you arrive. It had that antique, classical feeling in an elegant way, the photos did not do justice to how beautiful the apartment's interior was! I also cannot overstate how friendly Roberto was - he explained everything thoroughly upon arrival and checked in daily to ensure there was no issue. The best host I have ever encountered on all my non-hotel trips! Despite being close to the station, the apartment is located on a quiet street, and I was a bit nervous the first night I went back to the apartment because of how quiet it was (although very appreciated considering how busy Venice is). However, it was just me being overly paranoid and throughout my stay, nothing made me feel dangerous at all. The apartment is very secure with multiple locks.

• Catriona (9/5): Definitely worth it! - This is a very comfortable apartment. Large for 2 people and an excellent compliment of amenities. I will definitely recommend it to friends & family visiting Venice. The location is perfect for getting to & from the airport (especially when you have a lot of luggage) and well connected by Vaporetto or walking to the main Venitian attractions. Roberto is a helpful host and I will always check the availability of this place first when I next visit this glorious city. Not much, it's pretty good all round.

• Chene (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely perfect apartment in a fantastic location. Close enough to pop in for a rest during the day but still in a quiet and picturesque area. The amazing hosts were always immediately available by text to answer questions or give great and honest restaurant recommendations. The apartment was huge and had everything we needed; a comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, stable and fast wifi, and strong air conditioning when needed. If we ever find ourselves planning a trip back to Venice again, well absolutely stay here!
• Joana (10/5): Wonderful experience - From the moment we made our reservation, Roberto was very kind and reassuring. Communication was top-notch and he was always happy to answer any questions we had. As soon as we arrived, Roberto thoroughly showed us the apartment and all its features. After that, he pulled out a big map of Venice and gave us a lot of indications and recommendations, marking a few restaurants/bars he recommended, informing us how to get to the other islands or explaining to us how the 'bus' service works and all that. Now about the apartment... Everything was impeccable! It's a big apartment, you can easily fit a family of up to 3/4 people in there. Every room in the house is quite spacious, including the 2 bedrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped: stove, oven, microwave, toaster, grill, fridge, freezer, etc. And you don't need to worry about buying coffee, tea, or dressings like olive oil or vinegar, it's available for you. Also, you can just use the crockery and anything you might need to have a nice home dinner... Because that's literally what it felt like: home. In our opinion, the location was perfect too: it's not too close to busy spots like Rialto or S. Marco so it was really quiet not only at night but all day long; however, it was just a very short walk from one of the many 'bus' stops throughout the city. Last but not least is the AC in the apartment: as our trip was in the summer, one thing that really worried us was having to choose between having the windows open at night for fresh air or not having mosquitoes in the apartment. It was great to have the peace of mind to explore this wonderful city knowing that at the end of each day we would go back to a place where we could actually rest comfortably. We absolutely loved our stay and we will surely recommend this apartment to anyone who is planning a trip to Venice. If (when) we go back to Venice, be assured we will try to make our reservation. Nothing, everything was great.
