• Anchal (4/5): Waste of money - Location The address mentioned in the booking dot com was different than the actual location which was communicated to us in personal chat. When we checked in the room was not cleaned,the bed wasn’t made, used dishes were kept in the sink, and the trash can in the toilet had used tissue papers which was stinking. The cleaning guy arrived one hour after our check in and we were heading out.

Appartamento molto ampio, soffitti alti, riscaldamento presente e di facile regolazione, così come una cucina piuttosto grande. Letti confortevoli, peccato per i cuscini, estremamente morbidi, senza nessuna possibilità di scelta. Appartamento spoglio, arredato e organizzato male, cucina poco fornita e male, con diverse mancanze, alcune basilari: scolpasta, forbici, pentole (ne era presente solo una ed enorme, difficile da gestire), accendino per accendere i fornelli (ne era già presente uno ma non funzionante, il giorno dopo l'host ce lo ha gentilmente fornito insieme allo scolpasta), microonde. Pavimento molto scricchiolante e fastidioso, bagno e cucina nello stesso ambiente senza nemmeno una porta di separazione degli ambienti davvero ridicola e assurda, mai vista una cosa del genere (water almeno situato da solo in una stanza). Mancanza della doccia sostituita da una vasca molto piccola. Luca in cucina inesistente se non per una piccola lampadina sopra i fornelli che incapace di illuminare tutto lo spazio in modo appropriato. Luce del bagno alla destra dello specchio rotta.

• Klaudia (1/5): - Extremely Disappointing Stay! Avoid This Apartment! Our experience in this apartment in Vienna was absolutely terrible. First of all, the place was freezing cold, no matter how high we tried to set the heating. The beds were so uncomfortable that it felt like sleeping on wooden boards, and the pillows were thin, old, and totally worn out. But the worst part was the constant periodic noise coming from the bedroom wall every single night. It was impossible to sleep. We spent three nights without proper rest, and both of us ended up catching a cold because of the terrible sleep conditions and low temperature. This apartment completely ruined our stay in Vienna. For the price we paid, we expected at least the basics: warmth, silence, and a decent bed. Unfortunately, this place offered none of that. I strongly recommend avoiding this apartment. it is not worth it!

I recommend it only if you are maximum 3 people and want to stay for 3-4 days. It has a lot of potential to get better if they put a door in the shower and a comfier sofa.

• Guest (3/5): Totally loveless and soulless and lacking in atmosphere - Beautiful rooms with parquet flooring and double doors, but totally loveless and lacking in atmosphere. Esterházygasse 15: the host has 3 apartments at this address, but didn't bother to take a series of photos for each apartment, so we didn't know which photos belonged to TOP 19. Laundry (from 4 people) was hanging to dry inside the entrance, and stayed there the whole week. But there were more towels available than 1 per person as promised. Furnished with IKEA furniture, including a rickety table. Not enough lighting, not enough cubboardspace, fitted sheet inside out around mattress, refrigerator needs to be defrosted, dirty oven, amateurish sealant kitchen worktop, curtains in the kitchen were too long, no privacy when showering because there was no door between kitchen and showerroom, no kitchen towel, no lock on the toilet, long curtains in front of the heater is not smart, only one bedside lamp for a double bed (the cord on the standing lamp in the living room is too short to place it by the bed), not enough pans (1 large 10-liter pan is a challenge if you want to cook rice for 2 people; soup reheated in a frying pan), we only dared to use one gas burner safely, no strainer in the sink drain, lighting in the showerroom more often doesn't work than does, too few hooks on the shower curtain, no holder or rod for the shower head, no can opener and scissors, only one wall spotlight in the kitchen. After breaking the house key (metal fatigue) at 7:45 a.m., one of us couldn't get in and the other couldn't get out; the host couldn't be reached until 9:00 a.m., after which the cylinder was replaced by a locksmith. The following evening, the new (inferior) key did not work and neither of us could get in. The host denied that the cylinder had been replaced the day before. An angry locksmith came, managed to open the door, at first, but we couldn't lock the door at night. However, being able to lock the door should not be left to chance. Install a lock that works properly. There is no host-emergencynumber between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m.

Nous avons cherché pendant 1 heure ! Dommage que l'appartement soit si peu meublé, et que les quelques meubles soient made in... IKEA ! Un grand espace et beaucoup de vide. C'est très impersonnel et peu chaleureux. Beaucoup d'assiettes et très peu de couverts ( seulement 2 petites cuillères !) Absolument zéro contact avec notre hôte, nous ne savons même pas si c'est une dame ou un monsieur qui nous a accueilli ?! Pas de mots de bienvenu ni de départ et pas de Flyers sur cette si belle ville qu'est Vienne, dommage !
• Georgia (8/5): Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the effort put into making the apartment welcoming and convenient fo - The apartment is located in a very nice area, just a short walk from both the metro and bus stops, which makes getting around the city very easy. It was well equipped with all the essential appliances. The apartment was also very clean and has an impressive layout, but it would benefit from some renovation or at least a little refresh – for example a new coat of paint or a small update of the furniture arrangement. The decoration is quite minimal and the apartment feels a bit empty. While this might feel less cozy, it also has the positive side of encouraging you to go out more and fully enjoy exploring Vienna. The only small downside was a rather strong smell in the kitchen, which might have been due to humidity or limited ventilation. The floors and some doors were creaky, which sometimes gave us the feeling that our steps might disturb the neighbors downstairs.

The apartment wasn’t thoroughly cleaned, there were some dirty dishes and towels. We were 5 guests and the beds were only made for 3 people, the sofa bed we had to make ourselves.

• Péter (9/5): Máskor is szívesen visszatérnénk ide, mert nagyon jól éreztük magunkat. - A városközponthoz közeli elhelyezkedés, csendes utca és épület, hangulatos lépcsőház. Háromtagú családnak optimális, a nagy belmagasság miatt nagyon kényelmes volt a szállás. Jól felszerelt konyha. Rugalmasság a szállásadó részéről és kiváló kommunikáció. Nagyon kicsik és puhák voltak a párnák. Jó lett volna, ha egy közepes méretű is rendelkezésre áll. (Természetesen megoldottuk, tehát akkora problémát azért nem jelentett.) Egyébként azt kaptuk, amire számítottunk.
• Francesca (6/5): L'appartamento non è conforme alle fotografie, indirizzo errato sulla pagina di booking. - La casa era molto bella, spaziosa e luminosa e il proprietario si è sempre dimostrato raggiungibile in caso di necessità. Purtroppo però abbiamo riscontrato diversi problemi, infatti avevamo prenotato la casa pensando che fosse ad un certo indirizzo ( da noi scelto per la posizione vicina al centro città) ed invece l'indirizzo è stato cambiando nei messaggi inviati dal proprietario, essendo la casa in una posizione per noi più sfavorevole. Oltre a ciò avevamo prenotato la casa per 4 persone, ma il divano letto era sfornito di cuscini per dormire e coperte, essendo allestito solo il letto matrimoniale. Inoltre, nonostante la casa fosse molto bella, non risultava uguale a quella delle foto e bisogna segnalare che i servizi igienici si trovavano in una stanza, mentre doccia e lavandino in un'altra che era collegata alla cucina da cui non era separata nemmeno da una porta.

• Stéphanie (7/5): Sympa, surtout pour l'emplacement - Emplacement nickel, très joli appartement, spacieux. Ascenseur La salle de bains est minuscule. Ce n'est pas un problème en soi mais assez étrange vu le reste de l'appartement et surtout, il n'y a pas de porte et elle donne sur la cuisine qui, elle-même donne sur la cage d'escalier avec une fenêtre ! Les carreaux du bas sont floutés mais pas ceux du haut. Pas très confortable. Il était écrit qu'on pouvait déposer les sacs des le matin mais a notre arrivée, pas de clé. Nous avons contacté le propriétaire. Une heure après, réponse pour dire que la femme de ménage a presque terminé (nous voulions juste déposer les valises comme c'était indiqué) nous retournons devant l'immeuble et attendons a nouveau 25 minutes. Rien. On repart et une femme nous appelle, on monte avec elle. On veut juste déposer nos valises pour profiter de la ville mais on nous fait attendre pour nous donner les clés, pendant que le ménage se termine ! Finalement, on aura fait le checkin plus tôt, d'accord, mais on aurait préféré juste déposer les valises et revenir plus tard plutôt que de perdre tout ce temps ! Aussi, un peu bizarre d'avoir le sèche linge avec les draps des clients précédents en train de sécher dans l'entrée de l'appartement.
• Leonie (6/5): Schöne wohnung, lieblose Besitzer - Gute Lage, viele Cafés in der Nähe, wenn auch keine Ubahn. Aber der Bus fährt häufig und man ist schnell in der Innenstadt. Die wohnung an sich ist sehr schön, große Wohnzimmer mit schönem Parkett, prunkiger Hauseingang mit schönem Treppenhaus. Achtung: Uns wurde eine andere wohnung bereitgestellt als wir gebucht hatten! Unsere gebuchte wohnung war in der gumpendorfer str 6 direkt beim museumsquartier, die die wir bekamen war in der esterhazygasse 15. wir standen vor der falschen wohnung und bemerkten dann dass sie die Adresse plötzlich geändert hatten! Sowas hatte ich noch nie erlebt. Die Einrichtung ist das liebloseste was ich lange gesehen habe: ausschließlich das billigste vom billigsten bei Ikea, bei vielen Möbeln und beim Besteck noch die Preisschilder dran. Tisch wackelt, Bett ist super weich und so gestellt dass man das Fenster nicht öffnen kann, wir haben es umgestellt. Ein winziger Fernseher 10m entfernt vom Sofa, der dazu nicht funktionierte. Küche und Bad sind sehr zweckmäßig, keine Fenster, alte Einrichtung aber okay. Es riecht in der ganzen wohnung nach abgestandenem Rauch, bei intensiver Lüftung wird es besser, geht jedoch nicht ganz weg. Schade dass man ein so tolles Objekt so schäbig behandelt, und hat das traurig gemacht. Die Straße ist sehr laut, auch nachts. Und die alten Fenster halten das nicht ab. Also nichts für Geräuschempfindliche. Der Aufenthalt an sich war okay, der Service jedoch nicht vorhanden: auf unsere Fragen kamen nur automatisierte Antworten und eine Nachricht nachdem wir bereits abgereist waren - da ist jemandem völlig egal wie es den Gästen geht, es sieht so aus als ob jemand maximalen Profit mit minimalem Aufwand machen will.

• Andrzej (10/5): Stunning apartment in a super location - Amazing location! Two metro lines in a short walk. Vienna old town also in a walking distance (a longer walk). I was absolutely amazed by the place the apartment was. And the apartment itself in a beautiful old Viennese building, 4m (or more) ceiling, huge windows, spacious and very clean. I haven’t expected that when I booked and at this price. I would definitely return. Very well equipped as well - hairdryer, washing machine, toaster, iron and whatever we wanted was there. Maybe the sofa wasn’t the most comfortable to sleep. No other issues, all great.

There is a metro and lots of shops for shopping on Mariahilfer Straße in 5 minutes. Communication with the owner is easy and you pick up the key and return it to the box. The toilet and bathroom are separate, the toilet is very small and the door does not close, I also could not use the washing machine in the bathroom because the owner had put the sheets in. Also the towels were not new and did not leave a clean impression.

• Maral (9/5): spacious and bright flat in the heart of Vienna - The apartment is located in a traditional Viennese building with high ceilings and parquet flooring - so you can feel the authentic atmosphere. The location is great (2 metro lines within walking distance, bus to central station is also close by). Mariahilfer, a sort of shopping/ walking street that goes out to Hoffburg, is also a 3 minute walk away. Cafes. restaurants, grocery shops (and also all the stores on Mariahilfer) are around. The apartment was clean in overall, there is a washing machine, equipped kitchen, enough space and nice living room there. The kitchen utensils were dirty, meaning they were in the dishwasher and were all covered in grease. Towels from previous guests were lying wet in the washing machine, so I had to dry them myself (at the same time, clean towels for our stay were still prepared). no shower gel or shampoo. And please try to replace the curtains - they are in a terrible state. I realise that your price is really very attractive and the flat itself is lovely, but I think buying new curtains would not be very expensive. Also no microwave - when travelling for a few days you really need it. I still put quite high marks for the place, because I believe that the shortcomings are minor, and most importantly, easily eliminated. I sincerely hope that the owner will take them into account.

Bathroom and washbasin access from kitchen not usual. Gas burners need maintenance. Missing curtain in hall. Property was not ready till we reach and they were making ready in front of us so we were tired but can’t do our unpacking and discomfort while waiting for their work to finish. Towels were not completely dry. Towels were very old like hundred years old…. Have wear by multiple use and become very thin like normal cloth but not gives feeling of towel. Need to have shower gel for guests as I see many apartments provide and I never carry my shower gel. Need more in bedroom or hallway. Property shown address were changed a day before we arrived so was not realised it and we landed at original address but then we struggled to find again changed address with luggage and kids.
• Drew (9/5): Large, roomy apartment stay in a pleasant neighborhood of Vienna. - While not in the center of the Vienna, the apartment was in a good location for us and we were able to walk to nearly everything we wanted to do in Vienna from here. Found some wonderful restaurants/bars nearby. Room was plenty large and offered everything we needed. Not the most modern space (but this was not a problem for us at all). Some small aspects of cleanliness could have been improved (dust covering window in the bathroom). I would still stay here again in a heartbeat.

• Oded (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent. The apartment is well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is heated all day, although there is room for improvement. The lighting is too low. Another cabinet or two with a flower pot and a carpet would make a big difference. Overall, it is worth the money. Highly recommend.

• Anna (9/5): Superb - Very nice apartment, confortable and with space. Good location. Some facilities were missing, e.g., there was only a spoon and a fork instead of more silverware, or no coffee machine.
• Jelena (9/5): Superb - Apartment was perfectly located, in quiet and safe neighborhood. Street parking is very challenging, but there are good paid garages nearby, as well as 25 min U3 ride P/R Ottakring. Apartment is close to bus and Ubahn stops, with fast and reliable public transport to anywhere in the city. Good options for shopping, groceries, restaurants, and baked goods nearby. There are basic cutlery and utilities, appliances have some milleage but are clean and functional, more than enough for a short stay. Heating was good, adjustable no kitchen condiments, coffee or laundry detergent.

• Laura (10/5): The host made you feel welcome! Whenever I would visit Vienna again, I will look to stay here again - I have a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Vienna City Apartments. The location is very convenient, minutes away from U train stations, supermarkets, shopping and restaurants. The apartment is large and spotless. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped.

• Jess (8/5): Would definitely stay there again in future. - The location was amazing. Close to bus stops and underground. The flat had all the basics but it was more than enough for a few nights stay. And the architecture of the building was an added plus. The light in the kitchen did not work which was not a major issue but was a little inconvenient.
• Maria (6/5): Location super but extremely run down flat - Location is perfect. After one stair, there's an elevator to the third floor. The flat has a lot of (empty) space. WiFi is strong, bed and sofa bed are comfortable. The person at the other end of the messages replies quickly. We were also able to add a child and an adult one week before the reservation and it all went smoothly. The WC is separate. The flat has not been renewed or even taken care of from the 50ies. There are many sockets /switches that don't work. You can't properly shower because there's no hook for the shower head, so you can sort of take a bath in a half bath tub, like the royals in the '800. I would not recommend this flat to group of friends or people who are not intimate with each other because the shower/tub faces the kitchen without a door or curtain, no privacy. The kitchen can be used but there are few small pans and starting the fire is not easy. No microwave. The cleaning was extremely superficial, there was dust under the sofa and spots on the floor that disappeared as we mopped them. We didn't use the washing machine. There is nowhere where to store clothes, just a small cupboard and a few hooks, there's a lot of empty space.
• Janet (7/5): It was a good location with a bus to town just around the corner. I advise potential renters verify the gas leak has bee - It was spacious, but an odd set up. Shower and sink in space off the kitchen with no door. There is a gas leak from the stove. It was Sunday and the maintenance person said it would have to wait til Monday. We left on Monday, I hope they fixed it.
• Hwue (10/5): highly recommended stay in Vienna - the apartment was very spacious with complete amenities. feels like coming home. they even provide a washing machine! by far our favourite staybin Austria. there's also a bus just 70meter walk from the apartment to go to the city center. definitely value for money! maybe a floor mat in the shower room would be great. otherwise everything is perfect

Unfortunately it looks like nobody cares - no pictures on walls etc. such a beautiful apartment but could be so much better
• Mladen (9/5): I’ve enjoyed staying in this apartment with my family, had no any issues. - This is a great apartment in very nice central area with spacious living room, it has everything needed. Location is outstanding and it’s close to couple of public transportation stations. Many nice bars and restaurants are in the neighbourhood, as well as well known Mariahilfer strasse. Easy to find it and easy to check in and out, communication with host was also perfect. Will definitely stay there in the future. It’s just a suggestion, would be nice to have more keys for families instead of just one pair. Also would be nice to mark apartment number on ring switch at the entrance outside.

• Danijel (6/5): Nice location, otherwise,.....still some room for improvements - Location is nice, close to many shops and city attractions. Quite spacious apartment. We contacted host if it is possible to make check-in 45min earlier, since we wanted to leave the luggage in apartment and go out explore the city. Not quite friendly answer was: "check-in at 15.00!" I assumed someone is still there, cleaning, preparing for our two night stay. Well, there was drying rack (full of linen) in the middle of the living room and for sure someone did not clean the oven and wash the dishes properly

• Bojana (4/5): Disappointing - Location Very smelly towels and sheets. It was a bit cold in the appartment on our arrival, but we booked the accomodation 4 hours before arrival. You can set the temperature in the appartement, but we had to turn the radiatorors on in toilet and bedroom. Also, washed sheets and towels were drying in living room from previos guest and even this was smely. Woden flor is makin a lot of noise, so not convinient if you have kids. Shower in toilet is broken and also it is very difficult to set the temperature of water. The sinck in toilet was cloged. We didn't use the kitchen. One bed in bedroom is not usable, even for kids to sleep.

• Agata (9/5): Good place to stay - Spacious apartment, warm, free Netflix. Metro and bus is next to the apartment. The apartment is close to Hous des meres. The kitchen has utensils, plates, pots, kettle, pan, toaster, soap for dishwashing and sponge, and dishwasher. Bathroom has a washing mashine and hairdryer, The lighter was out of gas and needed to find a shop on Sunday where to buy a new one to fry the food, it was a challenge. One light in the bathroom isn't working properly. The heating went up to 25°C during the night which was way too hot. Didn't know how to turn off the automatic settings. Would be nice if there would have been a bathroom door. The washing mashine has a mold, it didn't smell nice, so that needs refreshing.

• Elvija (8/5): Very good - Good place to stay and reach all famous objects. Warm apartments, so, it is good to stay in autumn/ winter. It needs to take more care about cleaning apartments floor and fixing broken things.
• Strahinja (9/5): Superb - Location is really great, , company which is renting this property was responding to our queries very fast and were quite helpful. Apartment is very spacious and the heating is quite good, definitely can recommend it if visiting Vienna with kids. Cleaning stuff needs to pay attention just a little bit more, left the second set of clean sheets and towels hanging on a dryer in the hallway instead putting them in the cupboard. They also forgot to leave a single toilet paper but the apartment company acknowledged this and have sent it the next day.
• Jaspreet (8/5): Spacious apartment with a central location but hidden - The location is great....just a 10 min walk to Mariahilf shopping street,close to Metro stations and not far off( by metro) from places of interest.The apartment is big and can sleep 6 people comfortably. The toilet is separate which is an advantage.The apartment is in a safe and quiet area There is a cafe just across the street for some coffee and snacking. Grocery stores(Spar and Billa) are a 5-10 minute walk. The address on this website is misleading.It took me time in locating this apartment.There is no signboard and if you arrive at night one could have a tough time getting here.The address should be mentioned as 15 Esterhazygasse.Also it should have a plate displaying Vienna Living Apartments outside.I was in for a wild goose chase as I followed the address on the website.The keys are in a box which is located beyond the adjacent shop and not adjacent to the entrance.Also there should be instructions on how switch on the lights when you enter the building as it was dark at night when I first entered. Regarding the apartment,you would need to climb up one flight of stairs before you get on the elevator so those with heavy bags would need to do a bit of exercise.There should be a provision of bathing soap atleast.The shower in the tub is in an awkward position,but that seems to be the norm in that area.There is no aircon ,only a pedestal fan.
