• Martha Zsiga (2/5): Very poor experience with this property - The apartment itself is beautiful with high ceilings and spacious rooms. The coffeemaker made excellent coffee. The bed was comfortable. Ample dishes, glasses and cutlery were provided. 1. We were not provided with entry into the property until the day after we were to have checked in. If someone had not been leaving and let us in, we would have been locked out on a freezing cold evening 2. The TV did not work 'No signal' 3. We ran out of hot water in the walk in shower 4. Dishwasher did not work 5. Ice cube trays were broken 6. The overhead light and kitchen fluorescent lights did not work 7. Their emergency support line suggested multiple ways we could enter the property, none of which worked 8. The corkscrew provided did not work and the knives need sharpening 9. They asked us to take the garbage out but provided no instructions on where to take it. 10. I tried communicating with the property owner multiple times to tell them our issues but had no response. I asked for a rebate of one night's rate but, again, no reply. This is the first time I'm using AirBnB (Arbio) and because of all the issues, won't be using it again

Great location, clean, nicely decorated (with a little Christmas tree since we were there during holiday season), all the utilities you need... Maybe a little heater for the bedroom and a separated toilet would be a good thing to have, although they do warm up a bit from the rest of the apartmant.

I readed some comments on difficulties to get in the apartment, but I had none, it's very easy if you're used to phones. It was all perfect.

• Deanna Dellinger (10/5): Awesome apartment in Vienna - The apartment is lovely and had everything we needed. The kitchen is outfitted with dishes, pots and pans, refridgerator, freezer, oven and cook top, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker . Everything was needed was available and spotless upon arrival. Our host was very helpful in all communications before and during our stay. Our host also provided tourist brochures in the apartment. The location is ideal. Restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation are all very near. We had the ground floor apartment with a terrace, which we enjoyed very much. The photos on boking.com were accurate. We would stay here again. Google maps shows this location as permanently closed, but the booking.com agent verified it was in business before I finalized our reservation.

Great location near the trams , restaurants and supermarket. Very quiet apartment. The instructions for check-in were excellent . All correspondence with the apartment managers were quick and friendly. I would stay again and highly recommend it. We didn't have anything that was a problem.

• Rachel (3/5): Clean, but disappointing - The apartment was spacious and clean. The decor is lovely, a lot like the pictures. This experience left a lot to be desired. First of all, the host was not accommodating about enabling us to drop off our luggage early (in fact she was pretty rude about it). Our flight arrived very early and the host recommended that we drop our bags at a (very shady) baggage storage location - we did that, and when we tried to retrieve our bags, the store was closed (when it was supposed to be open) and we had to wait an hour for the proprietor to come back and let us have our bags. The apartment location wasn't great. It wasn't horrible, but anything you want to see is a full 15 minute walk before you get to the outer edge of the center, and the center is large, so it's a lot more walking and we would've preferred to be much more central, those extra 15 minutes didn't help our sore feet. The worst thing about the apartment was the bed, or should I say beds? It wasn't a double bed as expected, it was 2 beds pushed together, and they weren't identical - the mattresses were different, and when we got into bed, my husband was a full 25 cm lower than me, which didn't make for the most romantic vacation, and it certainly wasn't comfortable. The kitchen isn't very well stocked - no salt, no oil, no sugar. There were no instructions about how to use anything in the kitchen or the TV, we couldn't get the stovetop to work. There was no information about the neighborhood, no recommended restaurants, really very no frills. Finally, the heat control was locked, so when we found ourselves roasting in the middle of the night and got up to try and fix it, there was nothing we could do. We could've called the host the next morning but after our previous interactions we weren't inclined.

Perfect if you are traveling with a baby and appreciate an equipped kitchen and a high chair. super easy check-in and out, very quick answer from the staff which were very helpful small details that can be improved: check-out is too early and no possibility to leave the luggage hair dryer works but only with cold air (i am sure they will replace it) bed mattress are quite old (1 extremely soft and the second sinks in the middle) very poor natural light

It was perfect for explorin - We stayed for three nights at this one-bedroom apartment in the center of Vienna with my husband and our two sons (aged 9 and 16). The location was excellent – very close to the city center and public transportation, yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. There were supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient. Our kids slept in the living room on a sofa bed, which unfortunately wasn’t very comfortable for two people. Also, the pillows could have been better. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment for couples or families with one child.

Following the instructions given, We were guessing that there may have been something wrong in the mechanism. We are tech savvy, so it wasn't a user error. Several attempts each time to finally get in the apartment, never on the first one. A physical key would have been great as a backup. Would have given this apartment 5 stars if not for this small thing.

• Anne (9/5): Absolutely beautiful apartment! - The property was so lovely, modern and very tastefully decorated with a traditional flare. It was very well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Mai was fantastic to deal with, very responsive and helpful. The apartment is in a good location, just a short walk to restaurants and bars. The only minor issue was using the Nuki door lock , we had a lot of trouble using it. Other than that I would highly recommend Mai’s apartment.

The supermarket is just steps away from the apartment as well which was very convenient. We had no problems checking into the apartment and the staff was actually very responsive when we had questions. The apartment was clean and very spacious. The air conditioning units were very helpful. The apartment is located in a very great area and it was very quiet. One of the beds was very hard. No extra pillows or linens.

• Ghariba (2/5): Worst staff - None The staff were unresponsive at all. They made us wait for 8 hours for the check-in. Additionally, my brother forgot his wallet, and they said they would keep it safe with them. They instructed us to contact them the day before we arrived in Vienna. I did, and she told me not to worry and that they would give it to us the next day. I kept updating her on the day of the pick-up, and she was responding until I was 2 minutes away from the pickup spot. Suddenly, she stopped responding. We waited for 25 minutes outside the apartment, but nobody came or responded to the messages for 7 hours. I had to call her from a stranger's phone because I did not have an Austrian number, and another woman answered. She said she would check and message me through WhatsApp and email, but she didn’t. I told her through the call my flight is the next morning. I received a message saying they would arrange it for tomorrow, but I am traveling today. I kept messaging her, but she didn't respond at all. This is the worst staff I have encountered.

• Sharon (10/5): A fantastic stay in a beautiful apartment. Very well maintained and has everything one needs for a City break. - The location was perfect. Really easy to get trams and access the subway. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, clean , lots of space and air conditioned! The point of entry was not great. It took several attempts and moments of stress to finally get into the apartment. This happened every time we tried to get back in and although we received a call back from the telephone number we called the first time, when we called a second time to explain our concerns about the lock, we did not receive any response. The access code works eventually but it appeared to take the mechanism several times to work. This was a bit stressful when we first arrived and when we were out late and couldn’t get in. It needs looking at and perhaps some maintenance done.
• Russell (9/5): Nice apartment in the centre of Vienna. - A quiet location but very close to the centre providing easy access to many attractions. The apartment was clean and spacious. A minor irritation was not having black out curtains, otherwise all was good.
• Megan (3/5): Terrible check in experience - It was terrible. The host gave us the wrong instructions for check in. My parents arrived first and I tried to trouble shoot with the host to get them in, but the host got us confused with a different sets of customers, and continue to give us the wrong instruction. My parents weren't able to get in for 8 hours and we wasted a whole day. It was also the first day we arrived to Europe so we really needed the rest.

• Cristina (6/5): Lots of difficulties accessing the flat. - The location is good and the flat has lots of potential. But the management and communication is totally unreliable. The communication is slow. Details sent via Booking are incorrect and we could not access the flat for about 40 mins, until I decided to randomly call every door in the block. The flat number was wrong as well! No answer to our messages or phone call either. There was a broken window in the flat, which did not seem to get fixed before the next guests, even though we reported it. Lots of other minor defects (easily fixable) can be found in the toilet and kitchen. The next guests rang the door bell while we were still in the flat at 8am, before our check out time.They wanted to check that they got the correct location as the instructions did not work for them either.

Had something to fix but wasn’t a problem since we had other method and staff also answered about the problem fast enough. Didn’t know they had deposit and kinda panicked when €400 was taken out for 4 night for 4 person as it was for my travel but understood and got it back soon.

The apartment was quiet and well located. We were able to easily walk to public transport and it was an easy walk to the main areas of Vienna… I highly recommend this apartment. Nothing comes to mind
• Marcia (8/5): Great apartment close to the centre - Large rooms, furnished to a high standard. Apartment was very clean and about a 10 minute walk to the centre. Underground and tram stops near by. There wasn’t any bed linen available for the sofa bed. Contacted the owner but the problem wasn’t rectified. If you are wanting to use the sofa bed, I would suggest requesting this before your stay. We were a group of 4 so it may have been assumed we wouldn’t need the sofa bed but we were a mixed group.

Just across the building there ise süpermarket and hain salon which is very convenient. If you are travelling with Kids or seniors you will be very happy with the location and neighborhood which is very close to central. The apartment has all the equipment you need at home. Clean, modern and comfortable. Looking forward to come again. Thank you.
• Tom (5/5): Disappointing communication and washer not working spoiled the visit - Nice apartment. Clean, no issues. Nice accompaniments in kitchen. Lots of soaps, shampoos etc. Check in. Never received our access code. I emailed her twice less than 24 hours before check in (Because I received an email saying I would get one and never did) and never got a response. (We sent her 4 emails/text over the next 2 days and never got a response) We sat in the stairwell for 2 hours as we tried to email and call her. For some reason we couldn't call the # Mai gave us in case we needed help (What's up wouldn't connect to Mai either). Ended up buying a sim card, then calling one of our daughters in the USA who used 2 phones to talk to us and Mai at same time who looked up a number in the US and finally got hold of her. She gave us the code and it worked (She sent us the code, according to the email it was a 15:54PM on our arrival date. Big help. (It came up on my Gmail 2 days later which was useless). And she said on the email "You're welcome". Sarcastic? I had a few requirements for booking. 1). Washing Machine (Door couldn't be opened. Emailed her - of course to date she never answered. 2). Cable (just so I could watch the news.). No TV worked except for Netflix and the living room TV didn't work at all. No batteries in one of the remotes for air control. 3). Balcony - there was one about 5x4 - a one person balcony. What would have happened if we couldn't reach our daughter. Nightmare. I have since read other reviews and they all state the same issues. Guess I need to read those reviews closer. I'll ask Booking.com for some sort of compensation since asking her directly would elicit nothing.
• Maggiejinky (7/5): Excellent central location - The location was excellent. Very close to many of the main sights and also to the local public transport system which was also excellent. The apartment was quite comfortable and reasonably well supplied with necessary items for self-catering. It was also very warm. Some things need repair. For example the tap at the kitchen sink is loose and needs to be made secure. It was rather awkward to use. Similarly the bathroom seat was loose and needs to be tightened. It would have been useful to have available information in English explaining how things work - the washing machine, oven and especially the heating. It was at times overly hot but we had no idea how to cool it down. One suggestion - consider having a choice of pillows. Those in the bedroom were very soft. Having a choice of firmer pillows would have been great.

• Meryem (10/5): It was very convenient transportation, clean environment and a beautiful house. - There was everything we could need in the house. It was very clean. The location is very central and you can easily reach places to visit. Me and my friends were very comfortable, we felt like home and we were satisfied. I definitely recommend it.
• Laura (10/5): We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the apartment is a short walk from St Stephen’s Cathedral with the ‘Pummerin’ bell toll - I loved the high ceilings and the large windows, it is a beautiful period apartment. It has been decorated tastefully (like a 5 star hotel) and is in a great location. I liked self catering because we popped out for cakes and nice bread and cheese/ham/eggs.

• Tania (9/5): Lovely, clean and quite appartment which I recommend for your stay in beautiful Vienna - The location was great, just around the corner from a tram stop, which we only used a couple of times. We were able to walk to Christmas markets in town and to the hop-on/off bus. The appartment was roomy enough for two couples and great that there were two bathrooms. Lovely and clean and quiet. We had access to drop off our luggage whilst the appartment was still being prepared. We had a lovley stay - 5 adults - if your 5th person is happy to sleep on the sofa in the kitchen/dining area then you will be fine. If you require more room in the area though you will need to fold the sofa bed up each day. We managed without doing this as we were out and about most of the time.

• Dim (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect, the apartment is near the center , there are a lot of restaurants nearby, and a supermarket across the road. Everything was very clean , the rooms were spacious, there were two bathrooms (the one inside the bedroom), and a large living room with kitchen. Also there was tv in every room, and elevator. If we go again in Vienna , we’ ll certainly stay there again.
• Heather (10/5): This apartment was well equipped and easy to get to from the train station. We were comfortable with a lot of space for - The apartment had everything we needed with extras like a washer, hair dryers, and extra bedding for our family of 4. It was also very close to the subway for easy transportation. We loved the beauty of the building and layout of the apartment. The beds were comfortable as well. It was also close enough to the center of Vienna to walk.

• Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment, with an amazing design! Very big for the price, I thought it would be so much smaller, but it was huge!!! Very beautiful marble bathroom, very spacious! This apartment also has a lovely terrace which I didn’t I have a chance to use because the weather was cold, but I’m more than sure that it is amazing in summer! The apartment is located in the center but on the quiet street, so you won’t be disturbed for sure. I loved my short stay!

• Antonio (10/5): Excellent place for family of 5 adults!!!! - Uranias apartment exceeded my expectations. 10,10,10,10,10 Very clean, heated floors, washing detergent both for clothes and dishwasher. They even have Nespresso capsules and umbrella for guest use.The beds were heavenly! The toiletries for soap and shampoo are great. Strong wifi and near trams and city center. Yummy Restos around the area😋 Will definitely stay at Urania and you should too!
