Guest Reviews
- Zahra (6/5): - It was cold on the first night, when we arrived. Also, nobody came for cleaning the room while we stayed there.
- Tuerxun (8/5): -
- Christelle (4/5): Très bon emplacement mais le logement est à revoir au niveau de l'entretien et de l'électricité - Bon emplacement La douche est moisie, écœurante. L'électricité est à revoir, d'étranges branchements...

- Daniel (8/5): - Clean Wired distribution

No habia tazas.
- Floria (7/5): good location - Location The Apartment has a smaller kitchen and is not so cozy and it has some mold in the bathroom. 2 weeks after we arrived the owners had to check the apartment for water loss in the basement. 3 days before our vacation ended water started to drop in the bathroom from the ceiling - just above the boiler - and we had to leave as we could not shower anymore.
- Adrijana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emile (4/5): Disappointing - Spacious appartment
Well located
Friendly and reactive staff The appartment was not very clean, especially the couchs and the beds
The wifi was terrible
You can smell the humidity in the appartment since it is ground floor
- Maria (1/5): Disaster - Location The apartment is a disaster. Mold is present, and there's dampness causing the walls to crumble. Ants came in on the last day of our stay. The kitchen is non-existent. There is a single burner which stopped working on the second day. The floors are made of OSB boards (impossible to clean). We were met with an immense amount of dirt in the form of dust and hair in the corners of the rooms. There is visible mold in the shower cabin... I've never seen anything like this, and I brought my children into this chaos. The owner's responses to problems are extremely delayed. The only positive aspect is the fantastic location. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this apartment to anyone. Id l could l would ask my money to be returned. If you have kids or asthma keep away!!!
- Aleksei (4/5): A warehouse with beds. Whatever, in Vienna the tourists would rent anything - The place has a door, warm water and places to sit/lay down. Hundertwasser's house is indeed not too far. According to the flyers found on site, the place is called "LAER", which reads the same as "empty" in German, and can be used as a gallery, co-working space, repair cafe, yoga studio (sic!) and/or an apartment. The owners obviously could not decide, so it is best described as an improvised warehouse where unneeded things from all of the above lay - and yes, also some beds and chairs.
The photos are from the same place (in its past glory), but don't expect the depicted nice interiors nor the pictures on the walls (we had an almost-naked lady and a something, so the kids were surely amused). The nice curtains are also not there.
What to expect:
- the kitchen is a bad joke about cramming more stuff than fits in a small space;
- ventilation in the kitchen is done by opening the house door (don't you dare to think of cooking or frying);
- dishwasher at adult's face level, so wow, much fun to load;
- induction cooking plate (!) has got a half-broken on/off button and a temper;
- sink faucet handle is broken;
- many of the lamps from the pictures are also broken/not installed;
- one light in the "bedroom" doesn't work and has dangerously looking fragments of light bulb;
- one of the "beds" feels more like a few pieces of plywood put together and is about to break;
- the door of the "wardrobe" near the bed woobles in a rather unstable manner (you still cannot use it);
- lots of furniture from the pics is "stored", i.e. lays on the wardrobe, near the bed etc.;
- dangerously looking electrical connections in the bathroom and kitchen;
- all the outside-facing windows are with a matte film (but you do hear the trams from 6 am still);
- BUT: there's the mentioned picture of a half-naked lady and huge collection of motivating wall signs
- Mireia (10/5): Exceptional - The heating wasn’t enough for the hole place
- Pedro (8/5): Very good - Spacious
Easy to access, once you find it (the host provided pictures that I didn't see) Stove in kitchen didn't work
The floor and the layout is strange. Sometimes you feel like you're sleeping in a warehouse. But nothing too bad
- Jelena (10/5): I recommend this stay with all my heart:) - I read that it was a bit loud and that people had problem with no hangers in the toilet but i had the hangers and it was not loud. the apartment is on the street but the beds are in the other room so i had no problem with traffic sounds, nothing was disturbing my sleep, actually i heard more the neighbors upstairs when they are walking than the traffic, but honestly i have no complaints. :)
and the location is great, u are so well connected to the city and u have a garage like two streets apart which was so helpful. i liked everything
- Edyta (8/5): Good location, close to the train station, a convenient and practical option. - The size of the apartment was very good. Plenty of space to enjoy chatting with friends. The arrangement was very convenient. Good location close to local shops and a nice local cafe just on the opposite side of the road. Very close to the train station (7min walking distance) from where you can get a direct train to the airport. the apartment was equipped in basic utilities but sufficient. The apartment is located on the ground floor with straight access from the main street. Tramways and traffic were easy noticeable from the living room, sometimes a bit too noisy depending on time of a day.
- Lorenzo (5/5): It's okay - The location is great, and the apartment has all necessary amenities. The price is very affordable for Vienna We were rather disappointed with our stay. It was messy overall and gave the impression of being unclean. It had been prepared for 3 and not 4 people. Sheets and comforters were thrown haphazardly inside one of the closets, so it was hard to tell what was clean and what was not. The bedroom also seemed to be used as a storage room of sorts. There were some sauces and drinks left open in the refrigerators, as well as almost completely used bottles of shower gel in the shower. We understand that it is wasteful to throw away a full bottle of bubble bath, but this is still not presentable.
The dish towels were dirty. The bottom of the shower was yellowish and encrusted: it looked like it needed a deep cleaning. There was no TV.
When we asked if we could leave our luggage in the apartment for a while longer, the proprietary said it was not possible for "hygienic reasons."
The apartment is like the one shown in the photos - which, however, were taken in very nice light and at nice angles so that it looks bigger and brighter. The apartment has great potential, but we suggest either using it as an exhibition hall (which was probably its original intended use) or putting a little more care into it.
- Manfred (7/5): Good -
- Bécéke (9/5): Nice apartement, perfectly located when travalling by plane! - Beautiful space! Big livingroom, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, nice shower, seperate toilet. Everything was foreseen. Little bit strange that there was also a backdoor that was not locked upon arrival. Many towels in the bathroom, but not a lot of space because of this. It would be handy to have a detailed list with the things that are provided. But these are really small details. The price/quality is unbeatable.
- A-f (7/5): Good - The apartment has a great potential. It' situated at 20 minutes walk from the city center and 10 minutes walk from Landstraße metro station and 3 minutes walk from Hundertwasser Village.
It has good facilities, enough for a pleasant stay in the apartment. Even if it's small, the kitchen has good utilities as a microwave oven, a dishwasher, an induction plate and a fridge.
The hosts answer to the requests (a little late but eventually they do it).
Even if the apartment exists directly on the street and close to it (50 m) it's a tram station, if the window is closed you can't hear the street noise. Actually, the neighbourhood is very quiet. It could be better managed and better cleaned. They could answer faster to the requests and most important completely. The bed was not comfortable at all because it was broken and was squeaking. Hope they will fix it. Otherwise the mattresses were very comfortable. The internet was not so great, sometimes it was working, sometimes it wasn't.
- Michele (7/5): Good -
- Nenad (8/5): Very good -
