- Nimit (6/5): Pleasant -
- Travel (3/5): Poor - If you tell them what you regret, the owner will fix it right away. But they fix it after sleeping for a day already, so one day is gone with uncomfortable. The blinds are broken, so I can't sleep comfortably. The pillow and bedding smell of sweat. When I lie down on the sofa, it's prickly and itchy. Even the towels smell like sweat.
- Lynn R (4/5): - I was very unhappy that on the day of departure I received a phone call telling me that “Expedia overbooked the room you thought you were getting”. With moments to spare before departure for the airport I had to consider and accept a different room. It ended up being two trams and8 stops further away, which meant that my plans to be able to minimize walking were out the window. The room otherwise met my basic need for a place to sleep only. It was on the third floor with stairs that would not meet a building code anywhere in the world. I am a senior who must walk with a cane, soI would call those stairs a seriously dangerous condition. The room was clearly in a process where only the barest amount of the electrical wiring had been completed, the kitchen faucet assembly was so loose I neede two hands to draw a glass on water, one of two window was not properly operationalsuch that when I tried to open it for fresh air it fell off and hit me in the forehead and glasses. The furniture was the absolute minimum and of the cheapest quality possible.Fortunately the bed was good enough that I could sleep. Essentials supplied were bare minim. Worst was a single roll of toilet paper with no back up. I had to ration sheets and could not have made it except that I spent very little time in the room. How much does asoare roll of toilet paper actually cost? Was I expected to search for a market get buy my own? Charge $2 more for the room and give the guest a spare roll. Totally unacceptabl
- Paloma (8/5): good choice - the location is perfect
the attention of the host was really great! a lot of things are missing on the appartment such as things on the kitchen.
cleaning can be better.
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional - its in the centre, few mins walk from everywhere it was very hot inside the apartment. and very noisy if the window is open
- Milena (6/5): Pleasant - Location is great. Host was easy to communicate with. there were no cups in the kitchen, despite there were tea bags available. not all lights were working, wifi and TV not working.
- Bartek (10/5): Exceptional - Great localisation very close to subway and city center.
Room was clean and had everything you need to rest.
- Hender (9/5): Superb -
- Sergej (10/5): nice apartment in the heart of Vienna - we enjoyed the stay , thank you for the hosts for being so quick and responsive. The Apartment is quite nice .
- Peter (1/5): STAY AWAY !!!! - TO ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS: DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY, EVEN IF IT THE LAST PROPERTY AVAILABLE IN VIENNA !!!!
We were booked to arrive on December 14 between 11-12 am. We arrived at the airport around 12.30pm and were adviced how to get keys to the apartment. A little later we were told that the apartment was not cleaned due to a lame ass explanation that the maid was sick and would come later.
We told the owner that we needed the apartment cleaned latest by 3 pm as we had plans in the apartment during the day.
Upon arriving at the apartment it was indeed not cleaned: bed linen was dirty and looked mostly like it had been used for a pornographic movie, urin on the bathroom floor, dirty toilet bowl, earpicks and hairpieces in the bathroom sink, dirty floors and generally unhygienic atmosphere.
We tried to call the owner several times but did not receive an answer – he later called to advice that cleaning would take place between 5.30 and 7.30 pm and that we should leave the key so the cleaning lady could enter.
At that time we were attending a meeting, which we had to abandon to rush back with the key.
We told him that this was unacceptable, and adviced that we would only stay provided we would receive a full refund of the first night, since all this trouble had already ruined our day.
The owner refused that, and threatened us verbally, to the extend where we were uncertain of our well being and left the apartment and checked ourselves in at a different hotel.
It was a intimidating experience, which really shocked us.
So far Booking.com has not been able to help, and the property is still available for rent with them.
The owner later offered us a compensation of 49 euros, out of a total bill of 252 euros which we refused.
We are planning to take the matter to the Austrian police.
- Ahmad (9/5): Outstanding, I love Vienna - The location, the price is excellent mix. It is not a typical hotel you need to know that Tow keys will be nice
