• Wandrea (10/5): Coldwater Vlores - The host was very responsive and helpful in every way. She was available without delay with any questions or concerns. She also provided excellent feedback regarding activities and things of interest in the area. The apartment was lovely with an excellent view of the sea. It was located in a quiet area out of season with availability to the city via taxi or rental car. The shoreline and sea water had a beautiful turquoise color and morning walks were very relaxing. The veranda with the upper garden was exceptional with a basketball court and a two seater swing. Area resorts were accessible with a short walk for coffee and/or food. Love the area with rosemary trailing walls and citrus trees galore. I would recommend a rental car as there is a bus bit it only runs twice a day out of season. No concerns to address.

L'alloggio è semplicemente incantevole: curato in ogni dettaglio, pulitissimo, arredato con gusto e completo di ogni comfort possibile. Ogni angolo trasmette calore e accoglienza, come se fosse stato pensato per farti sentire davvero a casa... o forse anche meglio! Ma il vero valore aggiunto è la host: una persona meravigliosa, premurosa e super disponibile. Fin dal primo contatto è stata chiara, gentile e sempre pronta ad aiutarci, con consigli preziosi su cosa vedere, dove mangiare e come vivere al meglio la zona. Si percepisce subito quanto tenga ai suoi ospiti e quanto ami quello che fa. È riuscita a creare un’atmosfera familiare e rilassata, rendendo il nostro soggiorno davvero speciale. In poche parole: posizione perfetta, casa comoda, e una host che è il top del top. Se state pensando di prenotare... non esitate nemmeno un secondo!

L’appartamento è esattamente come nelle foto (se non meglio): luminoso, curato in ogni dettaglio e con una vista mare che toglie il fiato. La pulizia era impeccabile, davvero oltre le aspettative. Un grazie speciale alla host, una persona dolcissima e sempre disponibile: attenta, premurosa e pronta a far sentire gli ospiti come a casa. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio con tutto il cuore!

• Stefan (8/5): Nice apartment, not a very good location - The apartment is nice. You enter via a groundlevel parking. Large bedroom. Nice living room, with Netflix on tv. Couple of restaurants closeby. A couple of things to be noted: the location is not top: no beach closely (the one in front is part of a 5 star hotel). About 7K from Vlore city center.If you want a nice beach and more facilities, it’s better to stay about 2-4K closer to Vlore. The owner demanded (otherwise my booking would be cancelled) that I paid upfront (contrary to the booking terms).

• Izabela (10/5): Great stay at Bay Inn!! - I had a fantastic stay at this clean, modern apartment in Cold Water. The balcony view made it extra special during the sunsets. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed. It was quiet yet close to everything I wanted to explore. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

• Leszek (9/5): Good place to explore Vlore's and Karaburun's area, after 5.7.2024 also the Albanian rivers beaches. - Great value for money. Sea view from the balcony, sunset every day :) Good location for shopping, great eqipment in the appartment - You've got everything You need. Lots of restaurants only few meters away. 2 local restaurants, owned by local families, with great sea food and prices 150-600m (Pano and GaTime) away. Lot's of useful tips for beaches / attractions / restaurants in guest book or sent direct via Whatsup by the owner. Just before high season (end of June) no problems with free parking places. Since 5 July 2024 7 km long tunnel under Llogara pass (1030m high) will be opened and shortens distance to Dhermi beaches by 30 minutes every way. Only 1 air condition (AC) in bedroom, if You are travelling with 1 child thats OK, because in bedroom there are 2 beds, one double and one single. But if You have 2 kids they have to sleep in living room, which is 2-3 degress warmer and have to keep bedroom door always open... the closest beaches are private and entrance costs even 20 EUR. So don't forget about renting car staying here. 2km away is the first beach worth to visit (Sunny beach), but You can go to Radihmne or Orikum, where beaches are even better. Fridge should be replaced to a bigger one and for us at least 2 big cups (250ml at least) should be also here. Water kettle was also missing, so we had to boil water in a pot. But that's really some small things...
• Ian (8/5): A very good apartment - The apartment itself is very good and deserves a 10. It is spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. We have been travelling for many months and appreciated home cooked meals, the washing machine, the big and comfortable bed and the space. There were also good restaurants and bars in easy walking distance, and a nearby mini mart that sold fruit and vegetables, wine and beer, and groceries. So it was a great place to relax. The apartment is a LONG walk from central Vlore, but then, there's not a lot of reasons to go to central Vlore.. This is not really a beach location. The description on Bookings.com needs to be updated to reflect that there are no free swimming spots nearby. The swimming spots that do exist seem to be controlled by upmarket resorts which are happy to charge you high prices for the privilege of using their bit of the ocean. That said, those resorts have very good bars with lovely water views. We were lucky to find Andi at Amber Taxis, who is a trustworthy and very safe driver. He took us to other beaches that were better in every way, but of course we needed to pay him. I suggest you try to book him for your excursions. You won't be disappointed. We also didn't like the payment options. Until Vlore in the Balkan countries we had always paid cash in euros. (This is the best method. Bring euros with you from outside Albania). But on this occasion we accepted the owner's invitation to pay electronically. Silly us. We used PayPal as we have done for 20 years. It cost us €20 in transfer fees. Something to do with Albania not being in the EU, so far as I could understand. The owner insisted it had never happened before. She also insisted I had to pay for it, which I did. But it was a sour note.
