• Susannah (10/5): Alpine Paradise - Spulhof is a place in alpine paradise. We only had sunshine on our arrival day, but the surrounding mountain scenery even in mist and clouds is wonderful. One can see the Dachstein glacier from here, as well as pine forests, from which a deer emerged most mornings. We had the uppermost 2 bedroom apartment with its own little balcony. It was spacious and very clean. It is easy to access the delights of Gosau, Hallstatt with its world class museum, openair museum and Salzburg. Lorenz was very welcoming and offered us beer and tea when we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful stay. A light at the top of the stairs would have been good

• Michal (9/5): Very nice apartments in a quiet location - Very nice apartments in a quiet location with beautiful views towards Dachstein. The equipment is without comments - you get all you need for a comfortable stay. The arrival and communication with the very helpful owner was perfect. It is a great place for winter sports - cross country tracks, ski areas and great skitours are within several minute's drive.
• Nirmal (9/5): Absolute value for money - Very clean rooms and linen, spacious bedrooms, lots and lots of space surrounding the house, and a helpful and responsive owner. Nice view of the snow topped peaks right from the dining table. Living room size of the 2 bedroom apartment was adequate but a little small considering that we were 2 families with children. The location of the nearest supermarket, restaurant is about 15 mins by car so have to plan accordingly.

The kitchen is very well equipped, more than enough kitchenware and other kitchen utensils. There is also a dishwasher in the kitchen. Enough glasses for different types of drinks. The location is very quiet. The host is friendly. nothing
• Hannah (10/5): Serenity - Absolutely beautiful house in a beautiful location! The pictures really don't capture the pretty views and serene atmosphere this house has. The host Lorenzo made us feel at home. He is really flexible and it's nice to see the pride in his work. We enjoyed our privacy and the cats a lot! I would definitely recommend this for couples, small families and small friend groups that are looking for a relaxing holiday!
• Natalija (9/5): A pleasant location in a beautiful surrounding environment, with spacious and comfortable apartments - A very peaceful location on a field with surrounding forests and mountains. We were given the entire top floor of the guest house which was an entire apartment, with 2 bedrooms and a large kitchen/living room area. The kitchen is well equipped, with an oven, stove, fridge and freezer, many plates, cups and cutlery and baking paper. There is no microwave. There is also a large balcony with views of the forest and distant mountains which is quite beautiful. The outside area around the guest house is kept tidy an organized. There are some facilities available to guests: a swimming pond with sunbeds, barbecue grill, table tennis table and children swings. Upon arrival, we were unexpectedly given Tennengau+ cards, which gives you discounts to local attractions and also free travel on local buses and trains to Salzburg. You will also need to pay city tax in cash when arriving too. The host speaks only a little bit of English, but checking in was not a problem. Overall, the atmosphere of this place is very pleasant and relaxing, I highly recommend to stay here! The toilet seat lid was broken.

• Margit (10/5): Perfect place for a relaxing yet active holiday in the mountains - Our stay at Spulhof was really wonderful! The entire property and our apartment was beautiful, very clean and well equipped (especially the kitchen). It was quiet and the surroundings were breathtaking. Our host was friendly and helpful. We also became good friends with the local cat. :) I really appreciated that there were separate bins for recycling because we are used to recycling at home and it's always great to be able to do that also when travelling. The property is in a good location. The drive to the nearest grocery store is about 12 minutes and there are numerous possible activities within an hour drive (hiking, swimming, canoeing, sightseeing...). We are really happy with our experience and recommend Spulhof to anyone who is looking for a relaxing yet active holiday in the mountains.
