The Feuerkogel Ski Area is a 5-minute drive away, and the Langbathsee and Offensee, both swimming lakes, are about 10 km away. Many hiking and cycling tours invite to sporting activities.
The well-known spa town of Bad Ischl with a thermal spa and a golf course is 14 km away. Gmunden can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Salzburg and its airport is a 1-hour drive from Ebensee and the train station of Ebensee can be reached after a 10 minutes’ walk.
