June (5/5): Passable - It was air conditioned with a comfortable bed It is in a truly Mexican neighbourhood. Shopping was a challenge as there were only small neighbourhood stores with limited inventory. There were no restaurants near the unit except for a taco stand and a couple of small local neighbourhood style food. We were the only North Americans in the area and we did not speak Spanish so became a challenge. The younger people were curious about us and became a great source of entertainment as they can have fun with very little and always happy playing. There was a woman who lived in the complex who made food so we ordered a couple of meals from her each week, they were well made and enjoyed them.
