• Claire (9/5): A lovely find in Downtown Cancun - This was my second time staying at Casa Soliman and it was just as lovely as the first time. The hosts are very kind and helpful and the location is great - quiet and peaceful at night but with easy access to public transport and local attractions. The WiFi has improved since the last time I stayed too, which is a bonus. There isn't a plug socket in the bedroom, which is a bit of a shame, but there's not much to be done about it really.
• Claire (9/5): A great spot for a woman visiting Cancun alone for the first time. - I'm really pleased with my experience at Casa Soliman. The owners are absolutely lovely - they couldn't be more helpful. Fernando met me when I arrived to hand over the keys and show me the door code, even though it was quite late. He was responsive to all of my messages when I asked for help with little things. The location is great - proximity to Mercado 28, Walmart, local buses, El Parque de las Palapas, etc. all very convenient. The owners very kindly let me hire their car for a few days, which was an excellent bonus that I'm very thankful for. The apartment was clean and the lady who does the cleaning came in about once per week (I stayed for 16 days). The provision of basics like oil, salt, sugar, and coffee was nice. The property is secure and despite being downtown, the area is incredibly quiet and peaceful. As a previous review mentioned, there is a slight damp smell when you first enter, however, it's not strong and you don't notice it after the first few seconds. The kitchenette could perhaps have been a little bit better equipped - maybe a large bowl, a cheese grater, some paper towels, one or two more storage boxes or bags for leftover food would have been nice - but there was certainly enough to get by. The WiFi dropped a couple of times but mostly it was pretty good.
• Maina (10/5): - This is the place to be, the host were very nice, my last minute check in was extremely effortless. It's 4 minutes to the market 28. The few days I stayed there was very good,and quite. I would recommend this place 💯 right ✅️.
• Elena (5/5): Additional efforts needed to be made to make it a pleasant place to stay - The place is very well located. The bed is comfortable, and the water pressure is good. The check-in and check-out process is easy. The smell of stale, heavy air was saturated with mold, which was impossible to get rid of because there was no mosquito net on the window. Additionally, the air conditioners needed maintenance; they were visually dirty. The internet was unstable.

• Giulia (9/5): Superb - Big place and well equipped kitchen (although I didn't use it). I did not meet the host but the communication was fast and efficient. Dark and quiet room, I had one of the best sleeps of my whole trip.

Our rental car canceled the moment we landed so Fernando offered us to pick us and rent his car with a good price. 🙏 He explained us all the scams that might happened, what to do in the city, some recommendations…I got bitten by mosquitos and he came with some spray! Thanks Fernando. Little bit old furniture and dark room but it’s functional☻
• Filip (10/5): Exceptional - We had a total of 10 accommodations in Yucatan with a similar price. This was one of the best. A few improvements and touch-ups would be enough and this accommodation could be a category higher.

• Barbara (5/5): Good option for one night - Excellent location and lovely hosts! It wasn’t really cosy nor comfortable. The apartment was very basic, the bed was too short and the bed linen of poor quality. There was no coffee nor tea bag available. However, upon request I received a jar of water. I could hear any sort of noises. The 3 guests in front kept me awake all night, shouting and laughing so I could not sleep at all after a 16 hours journey. Occupancy policies shall be revised or enforced to respect every guest.
• Omer (10/5): Great hosts, value-for-money, and location with a clean apartment! - The owners are really nice and made us feel at home! They were kind and helpful. The apartment (loft Soliman) was really spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It's the first time in my trip I felt comfortable walking barefooted... The location was really good- downtown, less then 10 minutes from the ADO bus station and really close to mercado 28. Would totally come back again.
