• William (5/5): Great location for self-sufficient guests not expecting a great experience - Location was great! Casiola property Vista Cay/bldg 5036 rm #304 provides an ideal location but maintenence, housekeeping, and customer service are subpar. There was a welcome gift when we arrived - a danish cookie tin. The cookies had been opened and some had been eaten so we threw out! Next we reported a loose sink faucet to Casiola. It wasn't fixed or replaced during our stay. Also reported an ant issue as they were coming from the side or back of stove... Not sure how long it's been since room had been cleaned. Judging from the review before ours, it wasn't clean for them either. What does the $150 cleaning fee we pay go towards?!? Using kitchen lights over 5 minutes caused several bulbs to flicker and at least one under cabinets had a loud buzzing sound. Staff would notice if they spent any time in the property. The main tv wasn't setup for use as it wasn't set to the proper source to watch cable and customer service wasn't able to resolve so we trial and error'd until something other than static popped up. One of the nightstand lamps in the master turns on and off via the wall light switch while the other must be turned on manually - these are identical lamps and there was no note explaining this (just as the TV issue). We figured out ourselves after incorrectly assuming we had a dead bulb. We ended up staying an extra night and the fee for that was higher than any other on our stay, surprising given it was our 9th night. If staying an extra night sends a mixed message, we stayed as we were worn out from experiences at nearby attractions! Not because we loved the room. There were three lanyards with card access to the property facilities in the room. None worked on arrival...had to be programmed in the main office to access gym and pool gate. Master bed is hard as rock, smallest BR mattress seems broken, caves to the middle. Casiola requests AC is set to 75, it won't go below 69, and there are no room fans.
• Bonnie (4/5): Disappointed - Lakeview Cookies Management company was responsive The unit needed a lot of work. There were many stains on the rugs, furniture dirty, scratched and chipped. Sofa was stained and we would not sit on it. Previous hair on bedding/shower. The AC was not working properly and there were stains on the ceiling and around the AC vents. We have stayed at Vista Cay many times and this unit was disappointing.

• Char (10/5): This was a beautiful property, Will definitely stay again. - I loved the spaciousness of the apartment, the convenience of everything, the balcony view, the walking trail. It was beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to restaurants, the Marriott World Center where my event was held, and to shopping. Too many remote controls. Was difficult figuring out what does what. Master bedroom remote--couldn't reach live TV. It seemed everything shown was streaming. Reduce # of remotes, or leave instructions.
