• Dörte (6/5): Wohnung in Neubaublock - Man sollte wissen, dass sich die Wohnung in einem Neubaublock aus russischen Zeiten befindet (Bild ist vom gegenüber liegenden Block gleicher Bauart). Der Parkplatz befindet sich vor dem Block und ist nicht geschlossen, aber es gab keinerlei Probleme oder Beschädigungen. Der Block und das Treppenhaus waren in denkbar schlechtem Zustand. Die Wohnung war sauber, die Zimmer einfach ausgestattet, die Betten urig. Bad und Toilette waren stark renovierungsbedürftig. Unsere Gastgeberin Silvia war sehr nett und hat uns freundlich empfangen. Das Frühstück hat sie am Morgen in der Küche zubereitet, es war typisch georgisch und lecker.
• bialor (6/5): - If I have to review the human experience I should give a 10 because staying here means that you will meet Sylvia, a beautiful lady that will welcome you with a big huge smile and will treat you like family. But if you stay here you have to be also aware that the apartment has never been renovated since it's first day and I could be ok with that: I don't care about old dusty furniture or a crumbling kitchen. My problem has been the bathroom: it's really horrible!! rusty pipes, falling ceiling, cold water for many hours of the day and I'm sorry to say this but it really looked bad. What I didn't like most is that when you book the apartment someone in a perfect English will write you, but then when you will arrive Sylvia only speaks Armenian and russian and everything gets complicated and you need time and patience to understand how the apartment works. She told us something about the water that of course we didn't understand, she was pointing 5 with her hand and so we thought: ok, maybe we have to let water run for 5 minutes to have hot water, but that didn't work. We called Sylvia, who lives downstairs, and then we have understood that hot water is only after 5 pm and early in the morning? We are still not sure! I know that Sylvia is not responsible for this, but if there is a daily routine with water what I suggest to the owner is to inform the people. Just prepare a paper, a leaflet in English with all these kind of info! Sylvia will also offer you to cook you dinner: it took us 30 minutes to understand it! If we had something written it would have been so much easier and you avoid all kinds of misunderstanding! One last point: staying here is like sharing an apartment with your grandma: forget your privacy! It can be a beautiful, amazing experience but you have to be aware of this! And be prepared for the bathroom!!!

El apartamento es antiguo y está decorado como en la época soviética, pero pese a ser antiguo tiene de todo, incluida agua caliente. Recomendable si quieres vivir una experiencia inmersiva cultural armenia.

La comunicazione un po' difficoltosa, avvalendoci Google Translate. La sig.ra eccessivamente premurosa, durante i pasti che cucinava sul momento ci siamo sentiti un po' soffocati dalla sua presenza.

• Miranda (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay - we spent one night here. There are some great hikes in the area. The owner is very helpful and kind and went above and beyond and helped us with taxis to get there and when we wanted to hike and go to the next destination. Very good breakfast as well.

• Jana (10/5): - Zvenku vypadá bytovka strašidelně, ale byt je útulný, čistý a pohodlný. Je tu vše, co můžete potřebovat, vybavená kuchyň, pračka, pro kuřáky balkon. O vše se stará hospodyně Sylva, která bydlí o patro níž. Nabídne vám skvělou večeři a pomůže s dopravou (tf.rezervace maršrutky do Jerevanu, jinak bychom se nevešli). Velmi doporučujeme!

• Anna (10/5): We had a very heartwarming stay! :) - Beautiful flat, with absolutely wonderful Ms. Silva! She showed us the appartment, prepared a delicious breakfast and helped us with fixing our clothes. If you look for an authentic accommodation, you should go there! It is a bit difficult to find the accommodation, but we asked some people around and it went well.

• Lenka (7/5): - Apartmán byl čistý, paní domácí připravila výbornou snídani. Výhodou byla garáž na zámek. Socialistický panelový dům, neudržovaný. Na první pohled trochu strašidelný, ale apartmán je udržovaný, sice se starším vybavením, ale vše bylo funkční.

• Angelina (6/5): - Das positivste war die Größe (eine komplette Wohnung). Die Vermieterin war bemüht, auch wenn man sich nur per App verständigen konnte. Zuerst einmal die Lage, in einem sehr alten Wohnblock. Gefunden haben wir es nur mit Hilfe eines Taxifahrers, der dort angerufen hat und dann hinführte. Von "Closed parking" kann keine Rede sein, die Motorräder standen einfach vor der Türe. Das Treppenhaus marode, der Balkon konnte nicht genutzt werden, das erste Bett knackte bedenklich, so dass wir uns das andere umzogen. Beim Schließen des Vorhangs fiel die Gardinenstange von der Wand. Im Gefrierfach im Kühlschrank undefinierbarer Inhalt, den wir hätten aufbrauchen können. Letztendlich zwar bemüht, aber eben alles doch sehr alt und verwohnt. Wir waren froh, nur eine Nacht gebucht zu haben.
• lazy_cow (6/5): - A very spacious apartment. Wifi is surprisingly very fast. Sylvia is a very nice and helpful woman who treated us with doughnuts. In correspondence the host is super-well-mannered. I cannot understand who those people are who rated this place 10 points. The photos look all right, but in reality this place feels like there has been no renovation for at least 40 years. There are cracks on the walls and the ceiling, the wall-paper is shabby. At about midday they turn off running water, so you cannot do the washing up etc. My son was taking a shower when the water suddenly disappeared. The description gives the feeling that it is a luxurious apartment with closed parking, room service, ski rent etc. But these are just beautiful words that mislead potential clients. Let us be honest: there is no closed parking. You can simply park your car under the windows of a house both the exterior and the interior of which are miserable. I don't need a closed parking but the general impression of the flat and the whole town strikingly differ from the expectations produced by the description. At the moment there is no asphalt in the town as they are going to put new one. And supermarkets are in fact small shops with hardly any choice.

Ottima esperienza. Appartamento pulito e confortevole. La comunicazione con chi gestisce l'appartamento è avvenuta tramite google translate (dato che la signora parla solo armeno o russo). Possibilità di cenare nell'appartamento: la cena viene preparata dalla signora che gestisce (è una ex cuoca) direttamente nell'appartamento. L'appartamento è dotato di lavatrice a disposizione degli ospiti. Garage chiuso in cui parcheggiare l'auto. Il monastero di Sanahin dista 5 minuti in macchina dalla casa.

• Karin (9/5): - Big apartment, nice balkony, good kitchen, monastery in walking distance, hikes and supermarkets in walking distance. Silvia had a lot of patience in communicating with us using google translator. Thanks a lot fof that. The communication with the owner was also working very fast and reliable from the very first minute. The beds were not so comfortable, but as the apartement itself was good for us we could handle it.
