• Scavone (10/5): - Amazing apartment! Very spacious, and great location. Great view of the piazza down below, and close to all the major attractions as well as the train station. It's a climb to get up the stairs to the apartment but it's well worth it!
• Alba (9/5): Alojamiento amplio y céntrico - El alojamiento era muy amplio y céntrico. Tenía dos baños, dos habitaciones, dos salones y en buenas condiciones. Por otro lado, es muy céntrico, a 5 minutos del duomo y de las principales atracciones turísticas. Sergio fue muy atento durante nuestra estancia. La única pega sería que no hay ascensor, pero es debido a que es un edificio histórico.
• Anke (10/5): A fabulous stay at historic Medici Chapels - A beautiful property in the midst of the historic city. The apartment is large and beautifully decorated with amazing pictures and many antique wooden pieces. What a treat to look down on the piazza to hear wonderful musicians and singers. The apartment is comfortable and Sergio was always available to assist. As a senior couple, who stayed for 6 days, we appreciated his help. The location is wonderful and walkable to many museums, the market and lots of unique shops and restaurants. We would certainly stay here again. Nothing!

• Susanna (8/5): We had a great time in Florence. Love the historical building and the spacious apartment. - Location is excellent. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Walking distance to the Central train station. Apartment is very spacious. Apartment is on top floor (3rd floor) so we were struggling taking the luggage up and everyday journeys. The beds are very squeaky and mattress thin. No storage facilities for our luggage on the last day.

SPACIOUS APARTMENT AND UNBEATABLE LOCATION. - The apartment is very spacious with large living room, dining room, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, second living room, kitchen, and all kinds of appliances you may need. And the location is unbeatable, only 4 mins walk to the Duomo and everything downtown Florence is walkable from here (we literally walked to every single tourist spots on our list). The owner is very helpful and hospitable. This is our favorite place during our Italy trip. If we do come back one day, we’ll definitely book here again.

• Slee (10/5): This is great apartment, at a great price, in a great location! - We stayed almost a week in this area and the apartment felt like home to us. The location was amazing... we were right in the thick of tourist activities near the Duomo in Florence. We had a coffee shop and restaurants just steps away from our door. There was always something going on in the plaza just below the apartment. Shopping just steps away. Sergio even advised us where a local cheaper grocery was located to help us save on last minute items. The mattress in the loft could have been a bit more comfortable. Our friends were sleeping there and to make it work for them, they padded it with a comforter. Problem solved. Everyone was happy.
• Brian (9/5): Would I stay again? Yes. - Location was great. never more than a 10 minute walk from the major attractions that we wanted to see. Did have some issues getting the keys, took longer than expected but we got it worked out and enjoyed our stay. Also keep in mind that in Italy, and other countries, they count the ground floor as zero. The apartment would be on the third floor in the USA and no elevator.
• A (10/5): Idyllic place to enjoy historic Florence - This was an ideal location, in the historic center, adjacent to the Medici chapels, just a few blocks from Duomo, near the Accademia, and close to the train station. The apartment was super comfortable. The apartment is a 4th floor walk-up. See photo with owner looking out the window. One of the bedrooms is a loft upstairs from the bathrooms.

• Kairat (8/5): Good value but be careful if you have heavy suitcases - The location is excellent, we walked to all attractions. We liked the retro style of the apartment, the furniture and the medieval pictures on the walls. The apartment is on the fourth floor, there is no elevator. It was difficult to carry our suitcases up. One of the bedrooms is on the loft. There are two bathrooms but none on the loft. We were two couples and the younger one stayed upstairs. It was inconvenient for them to come down at night
• Ritchhart (10/5): Great location, spacious, clean, and Sergio is a helpful host! - The apartment is very spacious. Several evenings musicians would play in the square below. Sergio was a very helpful host, offering advice on several questions that I had related to our travel plans. If we return to Florence, we would happily stay here again. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The only thing I would suggest would be to add a small fan in the bathroom where the clothes' drying rack is to help the clothes dry more quickly. The location is very close to the Doumo, the train station, and not a far walk to the galleries.
• Em (10/5): Could of been better. - The location was excellent, central to all attractions, bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment was spacious and suitable for 4 adults. Lack of welcoming gift. After arriving late due to delays we didn't even have water or milk in the fridge. The apartment was expensive so a little welcome pack would of been appreciated. The owner wasn't very nice, we were very delayed and because I couldn't get messages to him, he left awful voice messages. When I did get hold of him he was aggressive and made me feel that we were going to loose our booking. I became quiet stressed and anxious so instead of taking a £40 train journey from the airport, we took a £200 taxi ride...as he was not prepared to wait for us to then be told that he would see us Monday morning before we left!! He told me to have documents ready and €66 I felt very threatened by him. BTW there are 64 steps up to the apartment with no lift....Not sure if its mentioned in the property description.

• Paul (9/5): Very spacious central apartment at Medici - The apartment is spacious and in a great location. Walk out the door and 5–10 min walk to everything worth seeing. Lots of cafes and restaurants downstairs. Two bathrooms with the main bedroom overlooking the medici chapel courtyard. Musicians in the courtyard meant wine and cheese with the windows open to the square were great to chill. 3- 5min walk to the Duomo. As the other reviews state it is on the top floor with a lot of stairs. They are not hard stairs but lots of them.
• Natia (10/5): Exceptional - we had an excellent stay at Medici chapels apartment in Florence. The room was clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view of the city. The hotel’s central location made it easy to walk to the Duomo and other attractions. The host was very friendly and helpful, he had everything at the apartment you needed. He also gave us discount card for the restaurant where everything was delicious.Highly recommend!

It was exciting to stay in a medieval building! The kitchen was small but convenient, the rest of the apartment was spacious and we enjoyed all the views from various windows. • Charles (10/5): Clean, comfortable, fantastic location. - Fantastic location. Very large and comfortable apt. Live music every night in the plaza. Great communication with the host. No lift was a drawback, but ended up just fine.
• Chandra (7/5): A good stay in a spacious apartment. - Location. Spacious. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped. 1) No lift in the building, we had to climb 3 floors. For older people with baggage this is a problem. Had we known about this in advance we would have thought twice before booking this place. 2) The heating was inadequate - despite requesting this after the first night.

• Ys (9/5): Recommended - The apartment is spacious and has a nice distribution, providing as little or as much privacy as we wanted traveling as 2 couples. The rooms were all clean and full of quality (not IKEA) furniture. Instructions for check-in were clear, and our friends were punctually greeted by the hosts. The location was ideal -- a short walk to all of Florence's famous sites. The nightly serenade was just the bit of romance you hope to find in such a great city. The things that could have made our stay better were 1) receiving 2 sets of keys instead of just 1 to share amongst 4 people, and 2) providing more than 1 partially-used roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms. As an extra bonus for those of us who suffer from allergies, anti-dust mite pillow cases would have been much appreciated.

The mattresses were uncomfortable as the springs are poking through. There was some street noise, but it could be minimized by closing all the shutters.

• Alan (7/5): Despite the ants we enjoyed our stay. - Location is excellent and facilities are everything you need My daughters were unable to sleep in the mezzanine bedroom due to ants in the bed, over the pillows, mainly on the left hand side on Friday night. The ants appeared to come from between the floorboards. They weren’t as bad on the saturday night but the girls didn’t want to sleep upstairs. They slept on the couches both nights.

• Yunsil (8/5): Refrain your request to the host, and just enjoy the best location - - The best locaton : almost all important sites are within 10-minute walking distance. There will be no better place to enjoy the city than this house. When you feel tired, you can return to your house and take some rest for the next schedule. - The hostess was kind enough to wait for us in plaza on check-in day to show us into the house - The house was spacious, clean, and has a direct view over Lorenzo plaza. Perfect place to plan your next move while appreciating the beautiful Lorenzo plaza. - You should not ask for any further than the host offers (1 toilet paper per bathroom, 2 towels per person regardless of the nights you are staying, you have to buy your own detergent to use the washing machine). If you ask the host for something, you will receive long lines of message refusing your request (for example, 'this is not a hotel, and we have no obligation to offer you.....') - The exact location of the house is tricky. The captured google map picture on booking com page, the location on the google map when you type in the address, the location on the google map when you type in 'Medici chapels apartment' will all indicate different locations and none of them turned out to be exact. I tried to figure out the exact location of the house a few days before check-in with the host, but it only failed. If the hostess were not there for us on the check-in day, we would have wasted lots of time and energy - The host seems to be in charge of on-line communication with the guests but it was a bit hard to ask him for something. The hostess seems to in charge of meeting the guests and showing them to the facility. She was very kind but speaks little English.With the help of google translator, you will be able to manage to communicate with her. - The house is on the 4th floor (The ground floor is 0 floor, so it is actualy 5th floor in American way) and has no elevator. So you should carry your luggages up to the house on your own.

• Nicholas (10/5): Location, huge, and comfortable. - Location, location, location. Plus it is HUGE. This is a huge apartment, not just a small room with a few amenities. You could throw a 8 person dinner party at the dining room table. Two living rooms, etc. just enormous and comfortable space. It is a 4 story walk up. We were used to all the walking so not problematic unless you have difficulty with stairs.

• Deborah (6/5): spacious but empty of basic daily needs. stairs are a killer. - if central to everything is the goal it is perfect. but you have church bells ringing and crowds yelling into the wee hours. add the 4 floors of stairs and it just wasn’t ideal for us. lack of toiletries….no soap, no shampoo, 1/2 roll of toilet paper in each bath. I’ve traveled the world including Egypt and Russia and never had to provide my own toilet paper! the 4 flights of stairs were very hard, a killer with luggage.

• Lorena (6/5): nice place that needs some improvement - We liked that the location was exactly in the center of the town and the vibe of the apartment was in the theme of the city. very spacious. extremely comfortable for 2 couples (we were 3 3 people) the worst part of this accommodation was the temperature. 3 out of 4 night we had 17 degrees in the apartment (outside were around 18-19), we did spoke with the landlord and on the day of our departure it increased barely to 19,7 degrees inside the apartment. I recommend this apartment maybe during the summer. another thing would be that we have found lots of hairs in bathroom, shower, bidet and the floor wasn’t seemed like has been cleaned recently.

• Thomas (9/5): Brilliant apartment right in the centre - would love to return - Fantastic location right in the centre of Florence with main places of interest a short stroll away. Huge range of bars, restaurants literally on the doorstep. Clean, spacious and well equipped apartment. Fantastic atmosphere overlooking the square gave us a real flavour of city living - (this inevitably means a bustling and noisy atmosphere late into the evening). Note that the apartment is on the 4th floor (63 steps) with no lift - this may be an issue for older guests or people with mobility issues.
