• Kim S S (9/5): Great location and value for Florence. - Dante State Apartments are located in historic Florence and the location is great. Restaurants are next door, down the street, and in every direction. Historic locations are an easy walk from the apartment building. There may be a bit of noise in the early evening, but we found it to be very quiet by 10pm. The rooms are VERY large and well equipped with a mini kitchen and dishes. We did wash while here. No dryer but they have a drying rack. The only down side was the very steep set of stairs to reach our room on the second floor. There are no elevators and lugging your bags upstairs is up to YOU. There are other apartments on the main floor which you might inquire about if you're worried about the steep stairs.

• Stafford (9/5): Awesome Property in a prime location, loved every minute of our stay. - We were able to easily message our host Vincent through Booking.com and he met us on arrival. The unit was a two story, 2 bedroom with 2 full baths and even had in suite laundry (a blessing after a 9 day cruise). The unit was located in the heart of old town with unlimited dining options and abundant sights to see close by. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend our 4 days. The unit was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The unit was on the second story of the building with a very steep and narrow staircase. The second floor in the unit was also reached by another steep narrow staircase (the building is hundreds of years old but in very nice condition) If you have accessibility issues, this is not the Property for you.

• Alina (7/5): Perfekcyjna lokalizacja, historyczny budynek, miły właściciel - Perfekcyjna lokalizacja w historycznym centrum miasta, zabytkowy budynek z charakterem. Na parterze pyszna pizzeria. Bardzo miły i pomocny właściciel. Wszędzie można poruszać się spacerkiem. Apartament z jedną sypialną (Giotto?) wymagałby doinwestowania - szczególnie łazienka oraz kuchnia. Jest dość ciemny - okno w sypialni znajduje się bardzo wysoko i jest na stałe osłonięte. W porównaniu do innych apartamentów na zdjęciach - wypada dość słabo.

The location is amazing ... just a block from Palazzo Vechio and the main piazza, the Uffizi and the Galileo museum. We highly recommend it! We have nothing to complain about.

• Cassandra (9/5): A generously sized apartment for such a central location - Great location near the Uffizi and very helpful manager Vincent. Great to have a washing machine in the apartment too! Stairs to the first floor are a little steep
• Keith (10/5): Fantasic apartment in great location - Lovely large room with fantastic high ceiling. Full kitchen to use if required. Great murial on the wall. Bed very comfy. Portable air conditioning unit to use if required. There are steep steps to the apartment . Fantastic position just around the corner from the Piazza Della Signoria where you can see the statue of David. Close by is the Uffizi gallery for art lovers. Just 6 minute walk to the Piazza del Duomo where you can see Giottos Bell Tower, Bapistery and Duomo. Be warned it is very busy with tourists and guided tours. You need to buy tickets to see all these buildings. Great little place for breakfast just down from the apartment is Paola E Francesca (great pistachio croissants) and had great evening meals at Auditore and Buca Di Poldo (just off square). If flying into Florence airport take T2 tram to Santa Maria Novella Station and then apartment is 1.5 km (20 minute walk). You will be met by someone who gives you the keys. Vincent the host is lovely. Nothing.

• Keryn (9/5): A good B&B in an amazing location for the sights of Florence. - We loved the brilliant location and the use of the full kitchen, along with coffee making facilities. The bedroom was spacious with a pretty comfy bed, and good amenities on offer. The owner was out of town that weekend, but the manager was responsive to messages. The lift was out of action (and I only book places with a lift due to a dodgy knee) and the location, although fantastic for all the sights, was pretty noisy at night, necessitating earplugs for our stay. The heating didn't seem to be working, even with the troubleshooting offered. To be fair, the manager offered to come and look, but we did decline as out most of the time.

The location exceeds all expectation and the room is beautifully decorated with a canopy bed. The shower is missing a door and is a bit of a challenge to use without flooding the batgroom. Had to mop up and dry the floor mat each day. The water heater acted up a bit.

The apartment is spacious for a couple, offers a small fridge, a stove, and a washer (no dryer). The owner is very responsive. On the first night we moved in, we discovered the hairdryer was broken, the owner replaced it on the 2nd day. We also had trouble with hot water one night, but also had it resolved quickly. Definitely recommend it if you’re in Florence for museums, churches, and renaissance arts! No

Het is een gezellig appartementje om een paar dagen in te vertoeven. We hebben de host niet gezien en alles verliep via Whatsapp, wat prima werkte. Verouderde badkamer op zich is geen probleem, enkel het warme water in de douche is niet te regelen. Het appartement is niet geschikt voor personen die slecht te been zijn, door de stijle trap naar het appartement.

There were no drinking glasses in the kitchen! Washing machine was put to good use. The beds were comfortable and sheets were air dried (I believe), which we loved. Couch needs to be replaced or mended. Tv was not used bc no English channels (that we could figure out). We had a late check in and everyone was so kind. Very steep/dangerously steep stairs. Difficult to navigate, esp with luggage.

• Nayla (10/5): My amazing second stay in Dante's - The place was super comfortable and beautiful, and immersive within Florence's history. It had all the amenities needed to have a great stay, like the ones that interested us in our comfy tourism: proximity to all things old, ability to cook anything we wanted from the amazing ingredients you can buy in the supermarket, and a pretty good isolation for a place that has very tall ceilings (we went in November and it can get pretty cold). This is my favourite place to be in whenever I go to Florence, and this is my second time staying in Dante's, so I definitely recommend it if you can afford it, even if it's a couple of days of your entire stay. The host was amazing as well, attentive to any problem or struggle we had, he would reply quickly. We got to see him because of the extra fee you have to pay to the city, in cash, and showed him in to report that our toaster didn't work. He changed it with another one immediately. As I said, super recommend!

• Andrew (7/5): A comfortable well appointed apartment in a central location. - Good central location, plenty of shops and eating places in the street. Facilities were as described. Washing machine was very welcome. The check in experience could have been better, we followed instructions given, arrived 15 minutes early, had to wait 45 minutes on the street before being met and allowed in, had to follow them up. The unit had a musty / stale smoke smell that was not fixed by opening windows.

• Lisa (10/5): The location was ideal, the apartment was cozy and well-stocked and the host was exceptional. - The host, Vincent was there to meet us when we pulled up in the taxi after a very long trip! He was so kind and even carried our luggage up the few flights to the apartment. He had the AC on so the apartment was already cool when we entered which was huge because it was sweltering outside! The apartment was sound-proofed up to 40 decibels, which was great - didn't hear a thing! He showed us where everything was located, how to operate the appliances and WIFI, and then sat down with us to go over the map of Florence. He recommended restaurants (and gave us three where we could get discounts) as well as sightseeing. He even pointed out an excellent place to view the sunset over the city. Vincent was exceptional! He was extremely responsive when we needed anything and ordered our taxi to take us to the Florence airport when we departed. We stayed in the apartment, Donatello. The only item that we couldn't figure out was how to turn off the bathroom light fixture. But it was no big deal and we didn't even bother Vincent to find out. I'm sure if we had asked, he would have told us. Other than that, everything was in great working order.

Lo staff è stato molto disponibile e ci ha fornito indicazioni utili per goderci al meglio la città. Assolutamente consigliato.

Al piano terra tutto abbastanza bene, al piano primo il soffitto era a tratti basso e le stanze erano buie. Stile un po' vecchio. Abbiamo avuto problemi con il riscaldamento, probabilmente risolvibili, ma ci hanno mandato una ragazza che non sapeva cosa fare. Poi abbiamo cambiato appartamento e mi è sembrato meglio. C'era di tutto tranne lo scolapasta.
• Diego (9/5): Una casa accogliente per apprezzare una città d'arte - La posizione vicino agli Uffizi, la capacità e rapidità dello staff nel risolvere inconvenienti, la stanza da letto accogliere e perfettamente isolata dal rumore, la regolazione del riscaldamento in giornate fredde, l'angolo cottura, se pur piccolo, ben attrezzato. Lo definirei un appuntamento di classe. La notevole distanza del bagno dalla camera da letto.

• Elena (10/5): Perfect location!! - We absolutely loved our stay at the Dante State Apartment. It screams Tuscany and is soooo comfortable and homey. Upon arrival Vincent greeted us, helped bring our luggage up the steep stairs and gave us advice on places to eat and shop, etc. which was very helpful. We rented the one bedroom apartment. It was very large and gave us plenty of space to spread. The bed was super comfortable. From the kitchen area we could look out to the street below to the sandwich shop (highly recommend) and the bussle of the area. The best part was the location - everything (supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, even a beauty shop)were located on our street and very walkable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. The only negative would be the very steep stairs up to the apartment. There is no elevator - so I would not recommend for anyone who cannot climb stairs.

• miki (9/5): - 立地が最高！ 古い建物に泊まれて、現地の生活を少しだけ体験出来た。ホテルだと朝食のために身支度をしなければならないのが面倒だったので、毎朝コーヒーを入れて、のんびり朝食を取ることが出来て幸せだった。 冬はめちゃくちゃ寒い。室内でもダウンコートやストールは必須。寒がりの人は冬はホテルが良いかも。
