Guest Reviews
- Andrew (10/5): Excellent property with bonus of a roof terrace - Property was excellent and the roof terrace a real bonus. Very comfortable albeit a little short on head room. Not quite as close to the entrée as advertised as it’s a good 30 mins walk to the cathedral. That said overall it’s a great place to stay and very good value for money. As above

- mariam (10/5): - A big recommendation from me.
- Iulian (8/5): Spacious top floor apartment, good location. - This is the top floor of a 3 story building with no elevator. The apartment was enough for what we needed, well furnished with essentials. It is about 20-25 min on foot from the Duomo, streets are clean and walkable. We were directed to use an underground hotel parking, but we were not provided with the stamped papers that the parking facility required from us in order to pay a discounted fee. We tried unsuccessfully to contact the landlord on the phone. The number was from Spain, nobody answered. We ended up paying double for the parking. This can probably easily be addressed for future renters if the necessary stamped papers are provided at check-in.
- Israel (10/5): A Casa Cosi é maravilhosa, aconchegante, um sonho ter ficado na casa. - Tudo muito prático. Gostei de tudo
- Paolo (8/5): - La pulizia Utilizzo dei condizionatori poco chiaro

Yo soy bastante alto
- Jayana (8/5): Casa Cosi was comfortable and clean and felt like home when returned from long days of sight seeing. - We liked the quirkiness of the apartment, from the exposed beams to the slanted ceilings. The beds were also firm and comfortable, making for an excellent nights sleep. There was a decently stocked kitchen allowing for us to make a few home cooked meals over the course of our week long stay. The showers were small making it a little tricky to shower for the taller people in my family.
- Fernando (10/5): - A casa é ótima, completa. Ficaria novamente.
- Teryl (10/5): Lovely apartment in a quiet area that was still close to all the sights - Lovely home, very well stocked and maintained, we slept very well. The balcony is a nice space for eating outside. The air conditioning was fantastic during the hot summer days.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Francisco (9/5): Superb -
- Nathaly (10/5): Amazing - The property had everything you needed including a rooftop to enjoy! Location is also great as it is a 10 min walk to a train station. All of our family agreed that it was a fabulous place to stay for a large family. If you are tall, be careful of some of the ceilings. They are pretty low. Some rooms have higher ceilings, so you can arrange people.
- Ajay (9/5): Superb - Closer to most of tourist spots
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carla (10/5): Loved it! - We really loved! The house is very well equipped with everything we needed. We did no expected to have such good accommodations! It’s also very well located. We really appreciate and recommend it. It’s a very good price quality rate! The mosquitos.
- Eleonora (8/5): Very good -

- Berenice (10/5): Perfect place to visit Florence with a large family - We found the flat to be perfect for our needs. It was the first time we had the whole family together in several years, so 8 of us shared the apartment. It was more than big enough. As others have mentioned, it is a rooftop flat and bumping your head was expected, although most of us got used to ducking after a couple of days :) There is aircon in all the bedrooms, hall and living room. As the weather was very hot, it was a blessing to have effective cooling.
There was a tea/coffee station which was lovely, but would have been perfect if there had been milk. There was plenty of cutlery/crockery for all of us as well as a dishwasher and gas stove.
Practical notes: There were washing up clothes/sponges, and liquid both for hand washing and dishwasher. There was also a tea towel and liquid for the washing machine in the bathroom. There were also pegs, iron/ironing board, clothes dryer.
Couple of comments: Rubbish gets recycled, so needs to be sorted before throwing away. We come from a country that doesn't have recycling facilities so found out the hard way. Also, on the hall table is a token that you need to take in order to open the bins (another thing it took us a few days to figure out!)
It took us around 1/2 an hour to talk into the center of town. The whole town is flat, so it was an easy walk. Although we went in October expecting the weather to have cooled down, we ended up most of the week with 30-32 degrees, but because it was very dry, it didn't end up being exhausting.
A quick google search of supermarkets near us a couple within 7 mins or so walk from the flat. They had everything you need for a stay. Plenty of fresh fruit/veg, bread etc.
The owners are wonderful and answered any questions very quickly. We loved our stay in Florence, and would highly recommend this property. This has been mentioned by another reviewer, but if you are using the air-conditioning, sitting on the lovely balcony is not really an option unless you don't mind the volume of the outdoor part of the air-conditioner. It was too intrusive for most of us to sit out.
There have been other reviews about the mosquitoes. We did not find it much of a problem, but we did take the advice of another reviewer and close all windows/doors from after lunch. There are plug-in mosquito repellants in all the bedrooms.
- Angela (8/5): Spacious Florentine base - Spacious, air conditioning was a must, very well equipped and could walk into central Florence within 25 minutes, quiet location Terrace was noisy from the air conditioning outlet, distance to public was slightly longer than expected. Also couldn’t access garage on late night arrival
- Eve (8/5): Very good -
- Traveltoeat (8/5): Good option for large groups away from the center...but beware the mosquitoes. - It was great to find a place with so many bedrooms (4) for our family. There was a nice enclosed outdoor space and had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. About a 10 minute walk to a large grocery store. Getting to the city was easy if you plan ahead and can time your departure with a train going to Santa Maria Novella station. There were buses to get to other spots, but they were not reliable (both with Google Maps and their posted timetable), but that's just most major Italian cities. It was nice that there were a dishwasher and washing machine. Mosquitoes and low ceilings. During our stay, the city had restricted the use of AC (so we were told) and so the only get to get some ventilation in the house was from opening the rooftop windows, but that apparently let in a lot of mosquitoes that we spent some time getting rid of. Over the next few days, we only opened the windows in the middle of the day (not at dawn or dusk) and we still had a lot of mosquitoes come in. Maybe they were coming in from somewhere else that we couldn't control.
Being on the top floor, the ceilings are slanted. We knew that from the pictures, but what we didn't really expect was how little of the space was accessible without having to crouch around and we aren't tall people at all. The space over the beds and just around it is perfectly fine, but move a couple of feet away from it and you'll have to crouch. It wasn't a dealbreaker.
This is not necessarily a bad thing, but just to note that the apartment is on the 2nd floor and there are about 4 flights of stairs to go up without an elevator.
Small annoyance. We also had to buy what I would normally consider as basic things like, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. There were two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom and a couple of small trash bags. Considering we were 7 people and we were staying for 5 days, it would have been nice to not have to worry about those things.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (7/5): Good -
