• Kluser (10/5): Peaceful Stay in the Heart of Florence - Title: We loved our stay at Maison Alghieri in Piazza Croce. The location was perfect — right on the piazza with no traffic, which made it surprisingly peaceful while still being in the heart of Florence. The apartment is beautifully fitted and very comfortable. Our host was also extremely helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and local spots nearby. We would happily stay here again. There is nothing that we can say here

• Thomas (10/5): - Très grand appartement très bien situé sur la Piazza di Santa Croce. Très bien équipé (cuisine, douches, chambres...) et décoré avec soin ! Literie super confortable, tout était très propre et bien entretenu. Enfin, nous avons pu récupérer les clés en avance et laisser les valises plus tard, merci encore à Gianna et Umberto pour leur flexibilité ! Tout était super !
• Leah (8/5): Incredible location with a spectacular view - It was beautiful and the location was incredible. The only problem was the noise from the apartment above. Very loud footsteps and noise both late and very early but we did stay over Easter any noise might be at more bearable times normally

• June (10/5): If you want to experience the best of Florence this is the perfect base! - It was beautifully appointed & located. Everything close by & amazing restaurants downstairs. Nothing!! Just sad to leave!
• Mia (10/5): Perfekt für einen Städtetrip nach Florenz - Das Apartement ist wirklich sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist perfekt für einen Städtetrip - mitten im Zentrum lassen sich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erkunden. Der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht, Schlüsselübergabe hat wunderbar geklappt und wir bekamen auch ein paar gute Restaurantempfehlungen. Direkt unterhalb des Schlafzimmerfensters, das auf den Platz hinaus geht, befindet sich ein kleines Straßenlokal. An einem Samstagabend kann es da schon mal lauter sein, Sonntag- und Montagabend war es dann aber sehr okay.

• Francisco (10/5): maravillosa estadia en Florencia - Hermoso departamento bien amoblado y equipado. lo mejor es la ubicación, en la plaza de la Santa Croce, con vistas hermosas desde el living del departamento. muy silencioso y tranquilo en la noche. los espacios son amplios y los baños funcionan bien. la cocina bien equipada hay estacionamiento pagado a 2 cuadras. la ubicación es muy buena para desplazarse por la ciudad caminado, y tambien hay buena conectividad con el transporte público. Gianna fue muy amable y nos dio muchos consejos de lugares para conocer y para comer. solo las almohadas un poco duras, el resto todo maravilloso.
• Sanne (8/5): Dejlig lejlighed i centrum af alt det gode i Firenze! - Jeg elsker lejlighedens beliggenhed! Jeg kunne lide det hele, MEN jeg tror, jeg blev bidt af nogle dyr/mider eller lign. i sengen. Jeg havde store røde pletter på højre arm, der kløede. Det blev først slemt på vej til lufthavnen

Kitchen well provided, good washing machine. - The location was amazing, close by everything we wanted including excellent eating places The main bedroom was enormous and very comfortable. As others have noted the second bedroom is very small. We were able to use the sofa bed to supplement.

Extra plus for friendly and welcoming host Gianna. We had a great stay, only thing is that it was a bit noisy from the outside when sleeping in the 2-beedrom room.

• Kathleen (10/5): A lovely apartment in Florence! - We loved the location on Piazza Santa Croce--close to shopping, excellent gelato, and the Duomo. The apartment was nicely appointed, and the primary bedroom was particularly nice and spacious. The host was very helpful and excellent with communications. The second bedroom is very small--room for two twin beds, but not really enough room for suitcases (which we put in the living room).

Lovely spacious apartment, good facilities and felt very luxurious and safe. It was all lovely, if anything could be improved, maybe better pillows would be good?

Gianna was absolutely wonderful to deal with, she gave us many recommendations of where to eat like the locals do and some of the best food we had in our 6 week European holiday was from her recommendations in Florence! The apartment was very clean, we loved staying here and would definitely return!

Host was amazing and helped with recommendations. Very quiet even though you are right in the square. You need to take your luggage up two flights of stairs as it is on the first floor but no big deal.

• Danny (8/5): Location, location location! - Unbeatable location, a first floor view of the beautiful Santa Croce piazza and church, and a short walk to the best parts of the old city, without completely feeling subsumed in a sea of travellers. A well laid out apartment for our family with a comfortable lounge, a magnificent double ensuite room and a smaller twin with separate bathroom. (Note there is no lift). We stretched our budget to stay here at a busy Easter weekend, but having the kitchen and dining table allowed us to eat cheaply from the nearby supermarkets (Carrefour is probably the best). That said, the Finisterrae resturant across the piazza is a quality option and always seemed to have space when smaller restaurants were packed. The mosquitoes (zanzaras) were a menace in the back bedroom, the host seemed surprised they came so early in the season, but ideally the apartment would come with plug in bug repellers as they weren't easy to buy in Florence centre and it's probably best to keep the back bedroom and ensuite windows closed, as they open to a damp shady enclosed space where I'm sure they were coming in from.
• Karen (8/5): Wonderful long weekend in Florence - Wonderful property, real home from home in a central location. Host was lovely and gave us tips for restaurants. Take ear plugs if you’re staying in the front bedroom overlooking the square. On non school nights a lot of teenagers gather and a noisy. No noise at all in the master bedroom.
• Jacqui (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, overlooking the Piazza with an excellent bakery across the square and lovely restaurants all around. The apartment is beautifully presented, very clean and our host Gianna was very helpful. It was very noisy at night time with locals and tourists partying on late into the night. You don't hear it from the main bedroom but in the smaller bedroom it is really loud. Also the markets are on in the square and they set up early making lots of noise. The square has big bright lights that are on all night that shine right into the apartment which is annoying for those sleeping in the smaller room. I found the bed in the main room hard and uncomfortable but that may just be that my personal choice is a softer mattress.

Florence is an absolute must visit - It was a wonderful experience, our host and their family warmly welcomed us and took the time to thoroughly explain the house amenities, nearby attractions, and recommended dining spots. Their suggestions, especially the pizzeria and steakhouse, were highlights and easily the best meals we had in Florence. The property itself was fantastic, and the location was perfect just open the front window and you will see for yourself. Nothing really as soon as you arive you are blown away with florance and the view. the wife wishes to live there.
• Christine (9/5): Superb - Clean and spacious apartment in a beautiful location overlooking Santa Croce church. Near to all of the sites in beautiful Florence. Great food and shops nearby. Gianna was very responsive and helpful. We were there on a Holiday, and the noise in the piazza was very loud late into the night. While I wouldn't let this stop me from renting again, it is something worth noting.

• Eileen (10/5): Nice big apartment, great location. - Great location. Very nice layout. Nice bathrooms, good view. A little noisy at night but that’s not the fault of the property. There are a lot of yoing people hanging out in the piazza until very late, especially on the weekend.

It was very comfortable and there was ample and useful information provided in a folder in the apartment. WiFi and Netflix worked without any problems. We were greeted upon arrival to be shown into the apartment, and all communications were very seamless. Thank you!

With 2 full bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen, a washing machine and great location, we felt very lucky to have stayed at this property! It was perfect for our family of 4 but can accommodate 6 as there is a sleep sofa in the living room. We loved that all the sights were a short walk from the apartment and that there is a taxi stand at the end of the block. The apartment was also surprisingly quiet, even though it’s located right on Santa Cruce square with some restaurants downstairs (and there was even a Christmas market in the square during our stay which we couldn’t hear at all with the windows closed). We loved our stay here!! Nothing at all. Everything was fabulous!

We were so thankful to find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for our family. The apartment let us all have space to read and relax in between sight seeing: Gianna gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and markets. This is by far the best apartment we’ve had so far!!

Apartment with two bathrooms. Shower in the master bedroom didn’t work properly. Too much noise coming from the street during the night. Second room was a bit small for two people and beds weren’t very comfortable.

One of the best accommodation’s we have stayed in Italy. The 26 stairs leading up to the property need to be more clearly advertised, given there is no elevator.

Location was probably the best having been around the city a few times, restaurant’s on the doorstep which were as good as most. Also have a near new washing machine to keep on top of washing was a nice bonus. N.A

There are 2 twin beds in one room, a sofa bed in the living room, and a large bed in the other bedroom. We loved that there were 2 bathrooms. There were coffee capsules and tea bags, which was great. There is a taxi base right in the square where the apartment is located. We didn’t figure out quite how to completely work the heat in the apartment, but we were fine. There was no shampoo, but the owner offered to buy us some. We ended up buying it because we needed it right away. The water pressure wasn’t great.

Located at the heart of the city so we could arrive early to the interesting spots before the waves of the tourists. Great host, very minded to the quality of the service they provide.

• Oren (10/5): Exceptional - The Place i perfect. In the smack of the old city. minute or two to each location. The apartment it self is like visiting a friend. large' well organized. The city is limited by TZL so no cars in the city center. with 6 bags this could be a problem. if you are planning to go put of the city to tour it will make you walk to the parking (1KM).
