- Encarna (8/5): - Tranquilo y limpio. Escaleras muy empinadas y uno de los baños muy pequeño
- Vitalii (10/5): - It was a great pleasure to stay here. Owners were polite and it was a pleasure to communicate with them. Location is perfect: close to main places and far from noisy streets. Definitely recomend this place! Nothing.

- Nancy (10/5): Family of four - We loved the location. It is situated in a nice and quiet neighbourhood and away from the noises. There are a couple of really good restaurants nearby.
The host sent through a list of recommended cafes, restaurants and gelato places before we arrived in Florence.
We have two young kids and there is a playground 3mins walk from the accommodation. And a really good gelato place is just around the corner.
We were able to check in early and the host was very helpful to deal with our queries.
The guesthouse is not too small for four of us and has two bathrooms and toilets.
The kitchen is well equipped. Nothing. As it is situated in a nice neighbourhood that means it's a bit of a walk from the main attractions for those with young kids. There are a few buses nearby to get us to the tourist attractions. We didn't find this an issue.

- Gilles (4/5): This appartment is well located but has several caveats that were quite disappointing to us considering that it wasn’t c - There are only a few things we found to be good about this property. The first is its location, the second was the willingness of the owner to help when dealing with issues. Also, a bottle of red wine is included. Upon arrival in late June, the appartment was extremely hot due to the AC not having been turned on before our arrival. It took several hours (4-5) before it was comfortable enough inside the appartment. The appartment has two AC units, one in the main bedroom, the other right outside the two bedrooms. It was cool enough to sleep in the main bedroom but the rest of the apartment was at around 26-27 deg C the whole 4 days we stayed there. The appartment was also quite dark, something not obvious from the photos (notice how all the lights have been turned on). Also, of note, it wasn’t straight forward to find this appartment, there are two sets of numbers written on the walls next to each door on the street which took us sometime to figure out.
- Mark (7/5): Great location, but it's possibly better suited to young people. - Great location for seeing the old city.
Close to good restaurants and food supplies.
Good remote assistance from the owner, Nico. Lots of noise: people, vehicles, dogs, church bells, adjoining apartment occupants, the refrigerator.
Mosquitoes. The smell of sewage through the bedroom windows. The bathrooms are very small. The shower in the main bedroom is extremely small.
Poor service from the owners assistant.
- Martins (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (9/5): Quaint, cozy apartment in convenient location. - Quaint apartment in a perfect location. Calmer, residential area but still very convenient. The apartment is cozy with comfortable beds/pillows. Marco met us for check-in and sent restaurant recommendations. There was a strong odor in the 2nd bedroom that would travel through apartment if windows were closed. Smelled like strong curry. Out of the hosts control but you can hear noise from other residents (doors slamming, loud talking in stairwell, and footsteps/doors closing from apartment above late at night. It is expected in a city building but worth noting if you’re a light sleeper.
- Jan (6/5): Great location! Nice hosts and apartment but bathroom facilities rather tired - In a fabulous location in a less tourist area but close to all sights, walking distance for most. Plenty of restaurants shops etc close by too. Beds in the apartment were very comfortable. Hosts were accommodating and other than a problem with a shower, fairly clean. Main bedroom has a double bed but pushed in to a corner so a little awkward to get in and out. The shower off this room wasn't draining properly and host couldn't get cleaners in so we had to try to fix it ourselves. 2nd bedroom had 2 single beds end to end. Bathroom very small and a larger person wouldn't be able to squeeze in through the shower door. Both bathrooms very tired. We found noise from above us a little troublesome at night
- Janie (8/5): Very quite place & lovely location - Property was clean, close to everything. Host was great. The keys didn’t alway work properly to enter the place. Tricky locks that would not open.
Blind would not pull down on the window, I think they need to replace them.
- Dougy (9/5): Amazing Central location, 10 mins from the Centre, great value. - Amazing location, had everything we needed Nothing
- Nicola (8/5): Fairly good - We loved the location, as it was fairly quiet. Great recommendations for restaurants from the host. Excellent trattoria a few doors up in same road. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen and apartment. A straightforward 20 minute walk from the station. Very welcome wine & water on arrival. Delay on check in, but Marco kept us informed and fortunately not raining. The power cut out the first night after dark, after boiling the kettle, but fairly quickly resolved after phoning the check in person. Would be good to show people how to sort this out as it was a fusebox down the stairs, not in the apartment. This happened again.
The settee is smaller and chairs dont have seat pads, so different from the pictures, very snug to seat 4 on settee. No air-conditioning in bedroom 2. Bathrooms are very small.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about Gina's Guest House was spectacular. I stayed here with my family and there was plenty of room and a great location. There was a washing machine and all the amenities that we needed.
It was close to a grocery store, wonderful restaurants and cafes.
Nico was a gracious host. We would recommend this to everyone and plan to come back.
- Meri (7/5): Good -
- Diana (8/5): Very good -
- Dannette (7/5): Really nice, homey, and comfortable. - Gina's Guest house was nice and quaint. We did have a few questions for the property manager/contact after we checked in, but it was very nice and homey. It was comphy and felt like home. Be sure to not have both air conditioners on while running the washing machine. The power will go out.
- Charles (8/5): Very good - It was cozy and very well located The air conditioner was not available when we get the apartment and it was completely hot in the apartment and we got the remote control next day only.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (9/5): Great location - Great location, easy access to city, nearby parking for $30/day, had a bottle of wine as a gift, good communication. Double bed not comfy, no water in the morning due to work being done in the street (unavoidable likely but would have been nice to know).
- Willem (9/5): Superb -
- Boerner (10/5): Our stay was wonderful! Lots of delicious restaurants near by and the host was so great! -
- Nia (10/5): Fantastic stay at Gina Guest House! - We had a great stay at this cozy traditional apartment. Easy check in, great communication with the host. Excellent facilities, felt at home! The apartment is in a great area to explore the city, everything within easy reach. Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from nearby. The family run bakery opposite is not to be missed! Would definitely return next time in Florence! Nothing
- Lani (9/5): Wonderful place to stay - I liked it that there was a couch. The rooms were great. The showers were so small and hard to get in and out of. I’m glad there was a shower though!
- Sheri (9/5): Superb - It was nice to have 2 bathrooms and all the extra space of our own apartment. It was very difficult to find coffee pods that would fit the machine, we searched all stores.
- Joanne (6/5): Wouldn’t recommend - Pretty decor and nice staff. Location good. Terrible drain smell. Main bed had rubber/plastic mattress protector which made bed very hot and uncomfortable. And I was eaten alive by mosquitoes/insects.
- Eric (10/5): Excellent apartment in a nice quite street. - Great apartment with everything you need for a great stay in Florence. Owner was very attentive and kind.
- Catherine (10/5): A charming and comfortable place to stay after a busy day’s site seeing. - We were met on arrival at the property and given the keys. We were also shown round the apartment and given the chance to ask any questions about it. We were also given recommendations about our stay for example, good restaurants nearby. Very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable and the air conditioning invaluable. All the main attractions of the City were within walking distance . It was all great.
- Jessica (7/5): Good - The location was good. 14 min from the train station. It was a little cramped and cluttered decor. And the rooms were hot
- Clare (8/5): Very good - We loved the owners! They were so helpful and accommodating. The location was good- on the other side of the river from the main touristy stuff, but felt like an easy and safe walk to get there, even at night. (Still lots of action, however, near the place). The place itself was fine; if you are bigger person, the shower might feel a little tight. We loved that they left water and a bottle of wine. Small gesture, big effect! Especially because it was so hot… so the cold water was very appreciated. The ac worked, too. It was great.
- Cristina (10/5): Enjoyable stay away from crowds. - Very nice apartment a little bit away of the crowds but really enjoyed wandering around, finding the fortifications and charming neighborhood. Lots of excellent restaurants close by. Apartment was spacious and well appointed. Aircondioned 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, nice size living area and kitchen. Host graciously let us know that we had left items behind and mailed them to our home in Canada. Gave us good restaurant recommendations also.
- Lee-ann (9/5): We had a great time & would highly recommend this apartment. The owner & check-in agents were friendly & ext - Cosy & comfortable apartment closely located to the train station as well as some of the attractions.
- Lamitra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (9/5): Recommend - great base to explore Firenze!! - Lovely apartment with a traditional and modern style! Had everything we needed for our stay inc. a well equiped kitchen. Much appreciate the aircons in the heat of Firenze! Apartment was clean and comfortable.
Nico and Valentina were both so kind and helpful. Thank you!!
Location is good many restaurants, bars and cafes very close. In terms of the tourist attractions in Firenze, approx. 15-20min walk which can be tough in the heat.
Has two bedrooms which would be good if you had more than 2 people. The lounge area was nice to relax in after a long day.
I would recommend this apartment if you’re in Firenze! Lacks a little natural light. Washing machine had mould in it.
The bathroom/shower is very small so if you are a tall person, or a bigger person in general you may struggle. The double bed was a little lumpy and short so again if you are tall it might not be comfortable for you.
You can hear others in the apartment building. Wasn’t really an issue for us, but if you’re a light sleeper etc. you can hear people coming in/out of the building, on the stairs, and in the apartment above.
- Paul (10/5): comfortable and accessible - great little 2 bedroom unit with everything you would need. easy walk to/from the railway station. close enough to the main sights to walk, without being in the thick of it. great restaurants nearby. really appreciated the washing machine and the lovely bottle of wine, and the recommendations from Gino. the bathrooms are a bit tight, but that’s Europe and fitting things into old buildings.
- Nick (9/5): Charming and quiet apartment in a lively neighbourhood - Great apartment with everything you need at hand. The apartment has two bedrooms with separate bathrooms. It is located in a lively neighbourhood, though the apartment is quiet at night. Great communication with the host. The apartment is located on the first floor of an old building, which is quite charming. This also means there is no elevator. Personally I don't mind taking stairs, but for some people this might be an obstacle.
- Camerin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donald (8/5): Very good - Location was great! Accommodations were comfortable. Unit was clean. Small showers and a mild odor in smaller bedroom.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely decor, great location and loved the two en-suite N/a
- Deliavito (9/5): A very nice visit to Florence. Nice place, a little far from the bridge. - It was a very useful apartment. Filled with things that a traveler would need. Two separate bedrooms. There was an excellent eatery very nearby. Nice space, nicely equipped. It was a little further from the Ponte Vecchio, than we have pictured. It was a solid 25 minute walk to the "old Bridge". Outside of that, an excellent place to stay while visiting Florence.
- Solange (10/5): Exceptional -
- Megan (9/5): Great location and authentic - location nothing
- Tara (10/5): perfect place to stay - interior decor, location, great hosts, flexible with check! left a lovely bottle of wine too :) nothing. it was perfect
- Raghav (9/5): Fantastic location & neighbourhood - San Frediano is an amazing neighbourhood to live in. It's quieter than the old town, but so many restaurants & bars in the area. Also a short walk across the bridge to the other side. The apartment was tiny, but well equipped and we had everything we needed. Little to no natural light in the apartment & tiny washrooms
- Jessica (8/5): Very good - cute little apartment in a great location. the sofa was different than in the pictures but otherwise it was accurate. can feel a bit small if travelling with all adults.
- Mónika (10/5): We will come back. - Amazing accomodation. Kind host. Uncomfortable bed
- Nageotte (9/5): Exactly what we expected. - Quaint and comfortable.
