- Ashley (9/5): Great view, be aware of mosquitos once you open the doors to the view. - The view was stunning. Small balcony that would maybe fit 1 chair but you can enjoy the view from the inside! The room was beautiful, clean, included an iron and board, hairdryer, mini kitchen and mini fridge, and a super comfy big couch. The shower was big and AWESOME! Beautiful room. The location was in the heart of the city so LOTS of people and places! The host was great. Welcomed us to the room, a little miscommunication as it states in the listing to pick up keys in a different location, but their plan was to meet us directly at the room. Overall, super nice host, easy to reach on WhatsApp, allowed an earlier check in, gave a great list of recommendations! Unfortunately, with the river being right there, mosquitos will get ya. Despite us going in March, where it was 50 degrees Fahrenheit, I got bit up! I wish there was a mosquito net when you open the door to the bridge.The AC didn’t work super well. It was hot in the room despite it being March and having the AC on the lowest setting. Couldn’t leave the window open due to mosquitos. Super crowded area due to it being right there next to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge, so be aware. If you want a quiet, not so crowded area, this room wouldn’t be for you. Bed was not comfortable sadly ☹️.

- Richard (10/5): Perfect spot for sightseeing, relaxing, and enjoying Florence. - I liked that it was central to all that we saw. It is in a highly sought neighborhood to stay during your visit and it was right off the river Arno. The host was very attentive during our stay giving us recommendations for sites to see and places to eat. Additionally the property was roomy, comfortable, with many amenities needed for our stay. Nothing to dislike

The apartment was very interesting as it had this amazing use of the space there--many hidden doors and walls make it a unique property. I wish we could have stayed another 2 days there! Absolutely no complaints with our stay. The owner was very flexible with meeting us at the property as we ran into some time issues with getting a taxi there-they were very accommodating. They also followed up and sent reminders prior to the trip. As we were visiting several cities, this was very helpful to me! Overall a great experience!

Finding the property was difficult. Apparently Florence streets have a dual numbering system. Red numbers for businesses and black ones for residential. Most of the red ones look black until you look very closely. Rang the office but it didn’t help me to be told “black not red”. Fortunately nice chap came and found us and walked us to the apartment.

A representative met us at the property and showed us how to operate everything and even provided recommendations for places to eat. Fantastic! The kitchen was not much more than the size of a closet, but who needs a kitchen when you’re vacationing in Florence.

Most tourist spots on other side. Just a quick walk over bridge but one needs to be alright with this….
