Guest Reviews
- Jane (9/5): We truly enjoyed staying in an old palazzo & fell in love with Florence - We loved the traditional feel and all the different levels within it.
Having a Terrace overlooking the rooftops & Duomo was such a bonus.
We just loved having our morning coffee/tea watching the swifts flying all around us.
The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We found the bathroom very narrow but the shower worked well enough and we managed. It wouldn’t put us off recommending it to anyone.
We found that there were two types of sockets and we (3 ladies) then didn’t have enough sockets/adaptors to use for charging or using hairdryers but I’m sure others wouldn’t find this a problem. We appreciate the property is very old and the sockets & plugs have been changed.
By the second evening we’d got a system going
- Shushanik (3/5): - Poor management. Was not let in to property, was lucky someone from residents helped.
Poor water pressure, uncomfortable beds.
- Allison (10/5): - The location was excellent. 50m from Santa Croce Sq. One of the best meals we had was the first night in the square. Nothing is too far away. A glorious walk to everything. Good coffee shop just around the corner at Marios. The little balcony upstairs where you can oversee the Florence roofs and various Cathedral domes was terrific. Lack of time in Florence! It’s exceptional.
- Eric (10/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): Perfect stay in Florence - Great location, spacious, traditional, homey apartment.
- Katherine (10/5): Comfortable apartment full of charm in a quiet neighbourhood - Just like the photos, the apartment is full of character and charm but equipped with all the mod cons for a comfortable holiday. Aircon in the bedrooms was excellent but the kitchen upstairs was very hot as we were then for three days in 38 degree heat - definitely not the apartment’s fault! Loved the terrace and the view. Santa Croce is a quieter neighbourhood which we enjoyed, short walk to a supermarket for supplies, but at least 20 minute walk to the train station.
- Kováčik (10/5): Great flat in city center - Wonderful accomodation in city center, great terrace. Both bedrooms have AC which is a huge plus. Flat has everything you might need. This was our second stay in one of Accacia's flats in Florence and both stays were perfect. Host was easy to communicate with. Internet was really slow.
- Guri (10/5): -
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pitcher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Place was one of the few that I think is better than the photos. Bathroom is tight and there are many stairs to navigate.
- Gavin (10/5): Great stay, staff were really helpful with advice and the location was amazing, would definitely recommend - The staff were great, the apartment was quirky which was brilliant and the location was exceptional Nothing
- Commercial (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - The facilities were excellent and the host was very welcoming. Nothing I didn't like.
- Marcela (10/5): Exceptional - Old world charm, excellent service & communication with staff, location
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (8/5): we very much enjoyed our stay. - quaint and a great location 4 flights of steps, which was understood. the beds were not comfortable, yet we survived OK.
- Susanne (8/5): Recommended for a central city location. - The apartment was traditional, very attractive and large and was tiled with lovely terracotta. The roof terrace had beautiful views of the city and was spacious. It was quiet at night even though Piazza Santa Croce was just a few steps away. There were quite a lot of stairs to climb to it but manageable if you a reasonably mobile.
- Daria (9/5): Hidden gem in the very city center - This place is a hidden gem. It is located in the very city center close to all the sights and great restaurants. But this is not the most important. It looks so amazing inside that you feel like Machiavelli hosts you. The family of Diana, the host, has been living in this building for over 500 years. You can see authentic Italian furniture and so many antique items. The apartment is big and spacious. It has two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, and even a terrace. And the nicest surprise was the cats! Diana has three of them and they visited us sometimes. I really felt like I was in a museum. Amazing place. Will come again for sure. Internet. It doesn't reach the second bedroom and is very poor in the first bedroom. It works more or less well only in the living room. And the password is super long.
- Natalia (9/5): A romantic secret multidimensional space a step away from Santa Croce - An amazing quirky apartment situated on several layers. You have to take stairs to get to your room, another flight of stairs to get to the kitchen, and a third one to the terrace. The place is charming, full of interesting stuff - a mixture of family heirlooms and flea-market findings. There is only one very tiny bathroom and not enough sockets.
