• Jonathon (10/5): We will always think of La Casina as our little home in Florence. - The ambience. Such a warm and welcoming space. We thank Lucia for the privilege of being able to stay in her apartment. We loved the view, the location, eating and drinking and shopping with the locals. A special time. The highlight of our time in Florence. Nothing - it was perfect.

• Ben (10/5): - We really enjoyed the apartment, everything had been well thought out and it offered a neighbourhood feel being a step away from the crowds. We found a great bakery for a pastry and coffee just around the corner and a lovely osteria for dinner. We learnt to operate in a very small bathroom. Not a deal breaker by any measure but if you’re a larger person it might be tricky.
• Leanne (10/5): - This was our second time staying there. Love the location and the view! It is a very comfortable apartment. I still struggle with the size of the shower and the small bathroom but would stay again. It was also difficult to get the trash out to the trash collection spot our final morning and meet our taxi to get to the airport.

Host gave good handover of amenities and what to do in Florence. Restaurant recommendations in the neighbourhood were excellent Quirky furnishings. Bathroom very small. 2 sets of keys would have been helpful.

• Heloise (10/5): Charmant et authentique appartement - Appartement dans un quartier agréable, un peu à l’écart des grands flots touristiques mais proche de tout à pied. La décoration de l’appartement a beaucoup de charme à l’opposé des décorations impersonnelles qu’on peut souvent avoir dans des locations, avec une jolie vue sur les jardins depuis la fenêtre. Tout était propre et fonctionnel, l’espace très bien optimisé.
• Patricia (10/5): Our host, Lucia, gave us a warm and genuine welcome to this gorgeous well appointed apartment! - Charming and authentic Florence apartment in an ancient medieval tower was far enough away from the centre and the mass of tourists to offer a peaceful cosy respite for rest and rejuvenation! Everything we wanted to see and do was walkable. The bathroom is tiny but adorable. It could use a small shelf for toiletries.

• Anastasiia (10/5): I love this place 10/10 - I was very lucky to stay in this apartment. It made my stay in the city even better! The apartment is made with love for details, you will not find banal photos on the walls here. Lots of useful little things, coffee, sugar, adapters for sockets, I even found threads and needles, which were very useful. The location is excellent! Lucia was responsive, responded quickly to messages and was very nice. I really enjoyed this vacation, the best solution for the first visit to Florence, so that the puzzle comes together

• Kingsley (10/5): Lucia’s casa is perfect for a couple who love Florence, but not the crowds. - Lucia’s casa is perfect for a couple who love Florence, but not the crowds. The apartment is a perfect gem, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. But probably the best thing is the neighbourhood you will find yourself in. It is quiet. The local restaurants serve delicious Italian fare. If you want authentic Tuscan food and experiences, this is a great place to start your day, and end it. Our host, Lucia, was organised, spoke good English, and shared with us all sorts of helpful tips about the area. What a gem. Nothing
• Michele (10/5): Great stay - Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Lucia was awesome, checked us in early and showed us how everything worked and was available 24/7 on watsapp so no waiting for an answer to a queston. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely view of greenery and birdsong all day. Only problem we faced was that the mattress kept sliding on the base. Maybe a tie would hold it in place but it's a minor flaw in an otherwise perfect stay, soi the 10 remains.

Lucia, the host, met us and showed us everything about the apartment. Super clean, quiet, and the views out the windows were incredible. The home had everything we needed. The bathroom is small but well appointed and spotless. Kitchen was just right. The location was superb, and the local restaurants were great. Take Lucia's recommendation on places to eat, so good. I will most definitely book here again.

• Lauren (10/5): Well-equipped apartment close to the Florentine sights - Really well-appointed and convenient property. Charming flat with a pretty view, too! It was fine for us, but the bathroom is a tight squeeze, so depending on someone’s body/mobility, it could be a challenge.
• Helen (10/5): A lovely Florentine apartment. - Lucia met us outside to let us in- this was great as we were a little delayed due to a problem with our flight. The apartment was in a quiet location, yet close to all the lovely sights of Florence. Restaurants were nearby and it was easy to walk to all the key places. The apartment was clean and lovely and warm ( February!). The view from the kitchen was lovely too. I would thoroughly recommend the location. The bathroom was very small, not a problem for us but maybe for some.

We loved the view out of the kitchen window and the historical setting. The apartment was cozy, clean, quiet, and all around wonderful. The bathroom and shower are especially tiny.

Particularly good if you have a car, because you're right outside the no parking zone. The apartment was beautiful -- spacious and well equipped. Terrific! Nothing.

• Carol (10/5): Just perfect. Would go back there in a heartbeat. - Location was amazing. We couldn't have been in a better area with easy access to everything we wanted. We walked everywhere and there was so much locally as well. We watched a few YouTube Florence review things before we went and one of them even said that this street was the best place to stay - after we'd booked it. Loved the fact that the flat has been in the family for decades. It's clearly been beautifully cared for and looked after. Loved all the crockery and general nice touches. There's a lift which really helped as flat is on 3rd floor. Couldn't have been better! Only suggestion I would make is to maybe put a couple more shelves up in the little bathroom (maybe 2 corner shelves above the loo?) as there wasn't much space to put toiletries and I had to leave my makeup bag and wash bag on the floor. Not a big deal, but were there for a week and would have been nice to have more shelf space to put toiletry stuff out and visible in the bathroom.

Very well equipped apartment.wonderful restuarants and bars nearby, Early check in facilitated by Lucia and some great recommendations. Would gladly come back and stay. nothing - getting to lift could be a problem if you have mobility issues - but if your mobility is that poor Florence isn't a great place to visit.

It was peaceful in the evenings but near great bars and nightlife. We absolutely loved our stay and the apartment had great facilities for cooking at home. Everything was brilliant.

• Kate (9/5): Superb - The apartment was very beautiful and a good size for a couple! It was quiet and had a gorgeous view! Florence is very walkable and we were able to see so many sights in our three day stay. Lucia was very communicative and easy to reach. She walked us through the entire apartment and made us feel right at home. It was very nice to stay on the other side of the river, away from the higher concentration of hotels and tourists. We loved having the washing machine, too! We would definitely stay here again or at another Lucia property. The bed was a bit too hard, but that's just a personal preference.

• Christina (9/5): A fabulous stay in this great apartment - Being met by the very nice owner, Lucia who showed round us round with very clear explanations. It was exactly as in the photos, very tasteful, clean and SO quiet with views to beautiful gardens. The bed was comfortable, little kitchen was well equipped with washing machine. The lift was great for luggage & after a long day. We could walk easily from here to everything. Being South of the river is much less frenetic than north with its 100s of tourists nothing
• Suzanne (10/5): Cute with amazing view. - Such a cute apartamento, tucked away in my favourite part of town. Quiet yet just steps from San Niccolo bars and restaurants. It was so clean and the view was amazing - better than the photos. A Florentine-sized kitchen with everything you need, plus bonus coffee for the bialetti. I slept on the sofa bed, just single sized but so comfy. Loved this home away from home. There was nothing to not like - it had the usual quirks of a Florence apartment but that's part of the charm.
• Glennon (10/5): This is the perfect place to stay for an exceptional visit to Florence. - The location was close to great restaurants, landmarks and gelato. the view was exceptional. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed in a teeny tiny version.
• Werner (10/5): Cozy place with a great view - Cozy place with a great view up the gardens towards San Miniato church. Despite proximity to the city centre, it is quite quiet, not facing the street, in a traditional building, third upper floor, on the "other" side of the Arno river. Charming interior with lots of wood. Well equipped kitchen. The building has a lift, but you still have to muster some steps, so not so suitable if you are somewhat handicapped. Cafés, restaurants, ice cream parlor nearby; supermarket some 10 minutes walking distance. Nothing really. Prepare to meet some mosquitos even in early October.

It was quiet at night but close enough to a couple of vibey bars and some very good restaurants. The interior of the apartment is beautiful and well equipped. The host was on hand to meet us, hand over the keys and give us a tour of the apartment. A place you will come back to.

• Przemysław (9/5): Vibes of Florence - The apartment is rather small, but it has a great vibe. It's full of old furniture and decorations, but it doesn't feel cluttered. What's important, it was really clean! The location is another great advantage - only a few minutes walk to most important museums in Florence, grocery stores and restaurants. At the same time, the apartment had a beautiful view to some gardens. Because of space restrictions there were some unusual solutions, like the fridge in the living room or some cabinet for cosmetics outside of the bathroom. However, it was not very burdensome.
