• Juanbidinost (8/5): - La comodidad del apartamento, y el perfecto trato del dueño. El apartamento se encuentra en un subsuelo por lo que no hay señal de celular y el wifi del establecimiento tiene el mismo problema. Si planeas hacer trabajo remoto no es tu lugar.

• Deniz (5/5): Cantina con vista strada!! Non ci tornerei.. - Forse l’unica cosa positiva la pulizia. Simpatico l’arredamento…posizione accettabile Da rivedere tante cose. Non è una casa ma un seminterrato quindi clima da cantina umido e freddo. Ci sono due split ma si respira la stessa aria. Il boiler fatica a funzionare, ci ha mostrato cosa fare in caso di guasto ma non sempre è stato d’aiuto..spesso ci siamo lavati con acqua fredda per non perdere tempo. Per accedere alla casa ci sono parecchie scale per di più pericolose soprattutto con bagagli. Nessuna flessibilità sul check out, biancheria per divano letto non incluse nel prezzo ma a pagamento!!! Proprietario educato ma rigido e non sempre disponibile. Sconsigliato!!

• Clive (9/5): Wonderful garden apartment with a friendly, professional host. - The downstairs apartment was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Access to the lovely garden was such a bonus and at this time of year it was warm enough to sit out and enjoy the sun 😎 The shower was one of the best features. Large and with great pressure from the choice of two heads. The location, south of the Arno and walking distance to the Boboli gardens, as well as the bus stop (No.11) to get you to Piazza Michaelangelo, is perfect for catching the sunset over the city. It's away from the crowds, yet with all the amenities on your doorstep. Alex, the host, was really helpful and friendly. I highly recommend booking for a great time in Firenze. Thanks Alex, we really appreciated everything. Unfortunately, the power went off, as we were cooking. However, Alex came, very quickly, to sort everything out. No problem.
• Stefania (8/5): - L'appartamento ha molto fascino, soprattutto per chi è appassionato di Hollywood. Tutto è curato e l'accento rosso pervade l'intero appartamento. Il giardino è molto carino, essendo però stati in inverno non ne abbiamo usufruito. I letti sono comodi e l'appartamento è molto gradevole e ben fornito. La zona dista a piedi circa 20 minuti da piazza della Signoria e la passeggiata è gradevole, permettendo di percorrere il lungarno. Il proprietario ci aveva avvertito che la caldaia avrebbe potuto bloccarsi e che avremmo dovuto resettarla (in giardino). Pensavamo fosse una mera eventualità, purtroppo in realtà, la caldaia si bloccava appena veniva resettata. Alla fine, stanchi di andare fuori al freddo senza risultato, abbiamo accettato l'acqua fredda e rinunciato alla doccia. Penso sia un problema che vada comunque sistemato al più presto.

• Elisa (8/5): Una piacevole vacanza tra amiche - La camera da letto era confortevole e il bagno ampio e agevole. L’alloggio è dotato di tutti i comfort necessari anche se noi siamo state solo a dormire in realtà. A piedi ci vogliono 15 minuti per raggiungere il centro oppure ci sono bus che collegano bene la struttura. Molto fresca perché posta nel seminterrato, che nelle torride giornate estive fiorentine non è poca cosa In realtà niente di particolare, magari solo da sistemare lo scarico del water un po’ difettoso, ma il proprietario è stato gentile e disponibile e ha provveduto a sistemare immediatamente l’inconveniente. Nel complesso niente da segnalare.

• Benito J. (8/5): Un lugar estupendo para visitar Florencia - El sitio está muy cerca del centro histórico de la ciudad y de la zona de ocio. El jardín muy amplio, fue una lástima que el tiempo no acompañara para poder haberlo disfrutado. Al ser un semisótano dependiamos siempre de la luz artificial. La caldera de agua caliente había que reiniciarla cada vez que teniamos que usarla.

L'ospite è stato molto cortese lasciandoci tutto il necessario ed anche di più come le bottigliette di acqua e gli asciugamani in più. La caldaia fa qualche capriccio. L'alloggio è completamente interrato.

• Michael (9/5): A great place to stay. - What a great location. We couldn’t believe how close this home was to all the transport options. We were able to catch the regular busses and the hop on hop off tourist bus a short walk down the road. There were also 2 supermarkets right near by and a great kids playground. The back yard was fantastic and our kids loved the open space for running around. The host was very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen was good for cooking and the beds were comfortable for us and the children. I would definitely recommend this apartment to a family. It smelt a bit damp when coming into the apartment but opening the windows helped with this.

The apartment has everything you need to live comfortably for both short and long term. The beds, blankets, and pillows are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of different dishes and kitchen utensils. The location is great, a quiet neighbourhood a few minutes walking from the centre. The movie theme gives the property an extra oomph!

The street is quiet, and the apartment has its own garden, which makes it even more comfortable. There are two well-stocked markets near the apartment. Also, not far from the apartment are the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens, and just beyond them is the Ponte Vecchio and other Florence landmarks. The apartment has everything one might need. The hosts have decorated it excellently—with film references, film lights, and a great choice of colors. We felt like we were at home. The living room is large. The kitchen is equipped with excellent appliances: a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, microwave... There were teas, spices, oil, pasta available. We were thrilled. The bedroom is spacious, and the bed is large and very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and very well designed. The apartment is very quiet, which makes it an excellent choice for staying in Florence. I have no negative impressions. The host is very kind. He understands the needs of tourists and made sure to prepare everything necessary in the apartment.

• Milan (9/5): We spent a few pleasant days here. Thanks ! - The apartment is located in the wider downtown with perfect and easy access from the old downtown. The owner is great and so is her garden apartment. The only downside is the sofa bed in the living area, which you can´t sleep on ( especially if you are a couple) .... but it was only for few nights ;-)
• Luis (10/5): Spacious stay with local vibes and quiet nights for decent sleep. - The space was amazing, I would definitely rebook this place. It definitely felt like I was living as a local with all the amenities and spaces that I got to utilize. It was just a BIT of a walk into the "downtown" area. It wasn't a huge deal though since the walk had things to see along the way. There were shops and restaurants along the way into the main area so it wasn't a significant dislike at all.

• Ruth (8/5): Very good - Alex was very welcoming. The location was right near stop 3 for hop on hop on bus and supermarket very close by too. Very quirky decor. It had everything you needed. It is in a cellar with a bit of a musky smell but you get use to it. If you run the air conditioner as Alex suggests it improves. The garden is really well maintained but it is not really private.

• Lucian (7/5): Good - We had an incident just minutes before leaving. The toilet got clogged and we had to pay a fine of 120 euros. It is true that there was a warning on the wall that only certain types of toilet paper can be used in the bathroom. We were not warned about the rudimentary water drainage system, nor did we realize that such a warning implies that the host knew that he had problems with the sewage system. Currently, you do not find such posters in apartment-type locations for rent. The apartment is in the basement and benefits from a rudimentary sewage system. If we had been warned in the real way, not just through a simple poster, we would not have had this incident which we assumed, although we were deeply disappointed.

• Lesley (10/5): Amazing place - What a stunning apartment and a lovely garden. We contacted the host and waited only 10 minutes before he arrived with the keys. The apartment was more than I expected and for the first time ever had the best pillows (not those rock-hard or lumpy things). We loved sitting in the garden for our meals. It is a little further out than we would normally stay but honestly the place is so lovely we did not care. There are supermarkets nearby, which is very handy, especially for essentials, like milk. After a long, hot day of walking, climbing stairs, and visiting crowded museums, it was so nice to have a peaceful, quiet garden oasis to relax in. We have been traveling around Europe, Canada and the US for five months, and the beds at Movie Star Apartment and Garden were among the most comfortable we have slept in (even the sofa bed!). We are fairly light sleepers too, but it was quiet and dark at night, making it easy to get a good night's rest there.The kitchen was so well equipped, we ended up eating every dinner in the apartment (there is a good grocery store a few blocks away). Big, spacious bathroom--my travel companion is 2 meters tall (6'5"), and he had plenty of room in the shower. Hosts Alex and Monica were very responsive and helpful. The apartment is a 20 minute level walk to the train station. I highly recommend this listing, and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Florence! Really liked this apartment--it was a great value in an expensive city.

Alessandro and the team are very helpful We discovered that The apartment was underground with no fresh air or direct light, there was always a smell of mold even with the many perfume appliances he has placed. Then was no air condition to even recycle the air. The warm water had issues you had to restart a boiler outside the yard. The apartment was old with some renovated parts like kitchen. Mold and humidity was the main issue.

There was black mold in the shower. Everything felt a bit sticky and clammy to the touch. The noise from the road made it difficult to sleep even with ear plugs

Alessandro gave us a very warm welcome too, and this property is in a great part of Florence with plenty of wine bars. It was a little dark and lacking airflow as the apartment is technically underground - but not a huge issue

Alessandro, the host, went above and beyond for us, he even posted some items we'd left back to the UK - what an absolute legend.
• Lucian (8/5): Very good - The apartment is central 15-20 minutes to city center A very safe and pleasant area( bus to take you directly to Piazza Michelangelo). Apartment equipped with everything and very nice apartment thematics :) Unique apartment and very clean ( well-maintained). Alessandro is very responsive and always ready to help. a very big plus. Perfectly suited for 3-4 people. The garden is simply amazing! The apartment is situated at level -1 so there is a lot of humidity. (a dehumidifier would be extremely helpful) or any kind of AC). There is only a fan for 1 room not for 2..) -the bedroom can be very noisy(depends what kind of person you sre id you sre annoyed by it or not)
