• Sabrina (9/5): Amazing spacious apartment and great location! 10/10 would return! - The apartment was beautiful and spacious with both beds being very generous. We didn’t realise the place had two bathrooms when we booked online so were pleasantly surprised, so this place would be perfect for a group of 4 for a few days. The location was incredible, it was about a 10 minute walk from the station which on the first day is hard with luggage but so good for exploring once you’re settled in. We arrived early to Florence and weren’t able to check in but the host helped us find a place to store our bags securely and free which is a big plus! Overall an amazing stay and would definitely come back when in Florence again. The smaller second bathroom drainage wasn’t great, the shower and sink both filled up after a few minutes of running them so would be good for the host to look into this! There was a Nespresso pod machine but no pods provided

• Emily (8/5): Beautiful loft apartment in a fantastic position. - The apartment is traditionally beautiful and is in a fantastic location. We arrived by train and it was a 5 minute walk to the apartment. The communication re access was excellent and despite us having some issues (the WiFi and lift did not work during our stay) the host was very responsive and met us to try to resolve, albeit not successfully. Would very much recommend. As above, the WiFi did not work, nor did the lift. The WiFi, whilst being disappointing (as we had paid for this) was manageable. However, as the apartment is on the third floor it was very difficult to manoeuvre our suitcases.

• Carlotta (6/5): Tanto potenziale, ma alcune cose da sistemare - Posizione top e via molto tranquilla per soggiornare. Arredamento moderno e confortevole. L'appartamento ha potenzialità, ma ci sono delle cose che vanno necessariamente aggiustate. Prima tra tutte il velux sul soppalco la cui maniglia è rotta e non si chiude del tutto. Inoltre, segnalo che nessuno dei due asciugacapelli presenti nella struttura era funzionante. Come ultima cosa va aggiustata la maniglia della porta di ingresso che rimane letteralmente in mano.

Bequeme Betten und mehr als ausreichend Hand/-Badetücher. Pflegeprodukte wie Duschgel, Haarshampoo und Conditioner in großen Mengen vorhanden. Wunderbare Terrasse (abends beleuchtbar). Nur eine Anregung: Es gab eine super Kaffeemaschine von Nespresso. Leider keine einzige Kaffeekapsel. Auch eine Flasche Mineralwasser zur Begrüßung wäre super (ist mittlerweile auch Usus). Aber das ist Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau.

• Hark (7/5): Good but could be great - Very modern, trendy and clean. Having 2 bathrooms was a real bonus. No aircon in the upstairs bedroom, therefore very uncomfortable to sleep in the Florence heat. Some basics missing in the kitchen, eg tea towel, washing up liquid. Only 1 key provided. Smallest lift I’ve ever seen in my life.

• Katrine (10/5): Exceptional - A quiet corner in the hustle bustle! The apartment is very nicely remodeled with modern appliances and fixtures. It is so comfortable and spacious. A washing maching would be nice.

• Manuela (9/5): very comfortable apartment - very spacious apartment, excellent position, kids loved the bedroom in the loft. Very useful to have 2 bathrooms. Too cold in the morning to benefit of the excellent terrace, but I imagine it is very pleasant the coffee machines used capsules with special size (the common ones bought from the supermarket did not match, no capsules were provided).
• Georgios (8/5): Not as great as anticipated but still a nice stay - Olive Loft is spacious, perfectly located next to all the nice bars and restaurants in Florence and has all the necessary amenities one would expect. The owner is responsive and helpful with instructions, while the temperature of the apartment was good at all times. Last but not least, the shampoos and conditioners provided are very good. The apartment could use some refurbishment (doors, cupboards, stairs) to feel more modern and justify the high rental price. The main real issue though was the sewer gas smell in one of the bathrooms that couldn’t go away no matter what and this is something that needs to be checked asap by the owner. There were a few other things also (a hairdryer super used and in poor condition that requires replacement), outdated TVs and lack of clear communication regarding cleaning - had to use the same bathroom towels for 4 nights.

Alessandra the host is super attentive and helpful. One of the shower drains slow, so everyone wanted to use the other shower. The lift is small and noisy but at least there’s a lift!
• Donna (9/5): Good apartment in a central location - Compact, neat, clean apartment. Close to the main train station and tourist attr. It's on the 3rd floor, so there's lots of stairs or you can use the lift, which will fit one person and luggage or 2 people with no luggage.

We really enjoy staying in Olive loft while traveling in Rome. The location is also super convenient, around 5 min walk from the train station. The host is really nice. Love everything here!

The facility was updated, clean and comfortable for our group of 4. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again soon! Everything met our expectations. One little thing was that having somewhere to put the toilet paper rolls on would be helpful, but this is small. Everything was lovely!

The property was very spacious with a lovely balcony area, perfect for our group of 4. Contact with the host was excellent. There was an odour from the larger bathroom that didn’t seem to dissipate. Other than that everything was great!

• Mary (9/5): A clean, large central apartment with everything you could need including a lift. - It is large and well equipped in a fabulous location. Very clean and quiet. Lovely terrace and plenty of wardrobe space. The only downside for our particular visit was that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. The property informed us on our day of arrival and tried hard to fix it but unfortunately couldn’t. We did ask for a fan on that day but were told we will bring one if we can’t fix it. We spent 2.5 days without one and as it was 35 degrees in Florence during our trip this was very uncomfortable in the main sitting room. The bedroom was better so I stayed in that room mostly. Eventually they came with a fan which made all the difference. This would have been so welcome from the beginning of our visit rather than waiting.
• Akke (10/5): Lovely place, cosy, modern and spacious all in one and only 4 minutes from train to airport so no taxi needed! - Lovely, spacious loft in the centre of Florence. Great beds (2) and shower. Everything very clean. Great and very correct communication by the host as well. We loved all, but if there is one remark to make it is about the bed-sofa. This was not sturdy enough anymore to sleep on as an adult. Maybe a new bed-sofa is a good idea because then there will be 3 great double beds!

Opening the window (in July) at night allowed it be cooler than with the aircon despite attempts to ensure it was working. Clearly Aircon should do that job better.

No early check-in. Staff sent a repair man for something random that felt unnecessary but luckily we had already checked out. A little intrusive with the amount of messaging yet no one to meet in person.

We were also able to leave our luggage at a nearby bar which was extremely helpful. Nothing - the lift is a little small, so requires a few trips if you have big luggage.
• Elizabeth (10/5): We had a wonderful stay at the olive loft and I would highly recommend if visiting Florence. - This property was clean, spacious and unique. The upstairs loft was the perfect spot for our teenage son and the outside space was the perfect place to escape with a book. The location was great, we were very close to many of the central attractions and our host Sofia was wonderful and even helped us arrange for a car to the airport. The elevator is very very small but the stairs were not so bad.

The loft was beautifully furnished and clean. Host was incredibly responsive and helpful on What’sApp from check in to check out. The pillows were very soft and can be more comfortable. There was a strong, musty smell coming from the bathrooms. The AC in living room not working properly and the remote control had dead batteries in it.

• Elisa (8/5): The stay was excellent and the hosts were easy to contact and clear with their indications. Overall I recommend staying - My friends and I loved the style of the loft and it’s position in the heart of Florence. It’s ideal for a friends group stay. We didn’t like how the two bathrooms are one next to the other and that both hairdryers didn’t have the right adapter to be plugged in the bathrooms. We had to use them in the kitchen to dry our hair. This is something that can easily be improved.
