Veo que hicieron una inversión considerable renovando toda la carpintería exterior con climalith y de calidad, pero en la instalación creo que algo falla, ya que a pesar del buen nivel de lo colocado, pienso que las juntas no se deben de haber sellado convenientemente, ya que no debería entrar prácticamente ningún ruido, sin embargo, el jolgorio del mercado de la calle, se escucha con claridad, pero bueno...es soportable.

Very near flea market, Ricardi Medici villa and Michelangelo carved burial site for Medicis. Excellent restaurants near Duomo. You could really appreciate everything Medici at this location Only 2 sets of keys needed one more set was needed for third couple.

• Andrea (9/5): Soggiorno bello in appartamento non perfetto, ma con tutte le cose che servono (ha due bagni!) - Posizione molto comoda: in centro e relativamente vicina alla stazione. Struttura grande e che rispecchia le foto L'arredo, sarebbe opportuno rinnovarlo un po'. Le lenzuola non di cotone, ma sintetiche. I problemi più grandi sono il rumore che proveniva dal bagno in camera dopo l'utilizzo dell'acqua e l'odore sgradevole proveniente dall'altro bagno. Comunque tutto superabile

• Simon (2/5): Disappointing stay with unfriendly host, average cleanliness, noise from the market below, and several unexpected issues - I stayed at this Airbnb in Florence for two nights in late December. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Access to the property felt quite unsettling, as after taking the lift we had to cross a bridge that appeared unsafe. While this may be unavoidable due to the building’s structure, it is something future guests should be aware of. The host’s attitude was also unfriendly and impatient when my friends and I asked questions due to unfamiliarity with the place, which made communication uncomfortable. Cleanliness was below expectations, with visible stains on some pillows, and after just one night we experienced insect bites, raising concerns about hygiene. Additionally, the city tax charged was unexpectedly high, even higher than what we paid in Venice and Rome, and did not feel reasonable. Lastly, the property is located directly above a market area, making it very noisy, especially in the morning. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, or hospitality, and I would not choose to stay here again.

• Debbie (8/5): - Great location right in the middle of Florence with a huge selection of lovely restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away. We felt safe and secure in the apartment and we didn't hear any noise from any of the other apartments in our block. Beds were comfy in all bedrooms and there was tea, coffee and sugar provided, along with some little packs of melba toasts and jam which was a nice touch. We felt it was a really good price considering the central location. It was quite noisy outside on Friday and Saturday night (despite us having all of the windows closed) with all of the people leaving the bars and restaurants so we had to get ourselves some earplugs to drown it out a bit. It was fine on Sunday night, just seemed to be Friday/Saturday that was lively. The plumbing was quite quirky, you have to pump the flush button on the WC in the main bathroom a few times to make it flush (the host did show us this when we arrived so we knew what we were doing). The WC in the ensuite bathroom flushed normally but it was quite noisy so I wouldn't flush it overnight in case it woke anyone up! It would have been nice to have a lounge (and we didn't realise there wasn't one until we arrived, so we should have read the details properly before we booked!) but there was a table and chairs in the kitchen so we used this as our social space.

• Barbara (7/5): Un apartamento agradable en pleno centro - El apartamento es muy céntrico, en unos minutos llegas a la catedral o la estación del tren. No hubo ningún problema para entrar antes al apartamento y salir un poco más tarde. Hay bastante ruido alrededor, no por el piso en si sino el mercadillo enfrente, bares con música muy alta cerca etc. Recomiendo llevar tapones. El piso no dispone de una sala de estar como tal y la cocina es bastante pequeña para acomodar a 6 personas.

• CAVERO (9/5): Florence 2025 - L'emplacement, l'appartement très propre et bien équipée. Très bonne prise en charge de la personne en charge de l'appartement et très réactive. Le bruit suite au marché qu'il y avait au dessous ainsi qu'un bar juste au dessous des chambres.
• bellamee (8/5): - Location was fantastic, convenient to everything, accommodation was large with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for family 5 and a lift to apartment. Linen and bedding was clean and comfortable and facilities to cook are good if needed. Having the markets all across the road was ideal if you needed groceries, fruit, veg or eat out. So close to Duomo. I recommend this accommodation. The water pressure in the 2nd shower was not good and there was an occasional smell from the main bathroom, also had no WiFi for a week, not working. Street noise was constant with markets from morning til late, but this is expected when the location is so central......

The water pressure is indeed low but it was expected and easily managed. The windows isolate the noise of the busy street perfectly and the elevator was very helpful. All in all a very good experience. Amazing location, right at the center. Nothing.

• Louis (6/5): An incredibly convenient location but it was so noisy we had difficulty sleeping. No communal space. - Host was accommodating and kind. Informed us of how to use the front bathroom toilet (you need to pump the silver button multiple times until it's flushing). Beautiful new windows and a nice view from the 5th floor. Efficient elevator, working AC in the 3 bedrooms only. Apartment is directly above a street market. The windows were installed in a way that allows for sound to enter the apartment. Before getting to sleep, you are subjected to any conversations / kids playing in the street until about 11:30. Then awaken at 11:30 every night from the street sweepers. Then again at either 1:30 or 4:30 for the garbage truck... Then, good luck sleeping in when the vendors are setting up below. The window frames need to be sealed and insulated. A light fixture was broken off the wall, dangling by the cord. The unit, being on the 5th floor, has low water pressure and the second bathroom uses a VERY loud booster pump. Water out of both showers is either cold, or super hot. Water doesn't blend well or stay at a consistent temperature. Light switches aren't labeled. We were instructed NOT to turn on the water heater(switch across from sink). There is no living room aside from the very small kitchen area. The hair dryer mounted to the wall in the front bathroom did not work. There was also a bar that kept their back door open at bought below, which played loud music until about 1am every night.

No couch or living room but I already knew that from pictures. Washing machine did not work - stopped once an hour and needed to push button to restart. Using any plumbing (toilet, sink, shower) caused loud swoosh noise every 30 seconds - but maybe that's normal for Florence?

The host Maya was lovely and really helpful. Dark corridor to entrance to lift. The lift is a bit nerve wracking with a see through walkway.

As we stayed during 38c temperatures, the air conditioning worked well enough. There was a bit of a funky smell throughout the apartment. The WiFi didn’t work in the master bedroom. The flush in the bathroom was temperamental and the bathroom as a whole looked a bit dodgy.

• Julie (7/5): Great Location - We walked like 3 NYC blocks from the train station to our apartment. The owner met us early to let us go on in and leave our bags. Very friendly, easy handoff and instructions. Large apartment. One room was two twins. Next was a queen. Main was a queen (very comfortable) with an attached restroom/shower. You walk in and a LARGE bath is on your left, and you are basically in the kitchen. There is a small wash/dry combo in the kitchen (WONDERFUL plus after we had been traveling for about 10days). The location is wonderful! We were on top of everything we had planned to visit. You do step out either exit onto a street that is all vendors. So, it is a bit louder during the day. A lot of food/coffee/vendor options close by. Like I mentioned, it could be loud during the day. It is on the 5th floor, so if there is several of you traveling together, the lift is a typical European, 2 person. And of course it is an older building, (which is also very typical European) so do not expect brand new bright and shiny.

• Philippa (9/5): Excellent value for money - Excellent location within easy walking distance of the railway station, Duomo, Uffizi gallery, and Ponte Vecchio. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The beds were very comfortable. One shower room is en-suite to one of the bedrooms and the TV is in that bedroom. The shower pump was a bit noisy. On the whole, I would definitely recommend Capelle Medici. Thanks to Maya, who met us and explained everything.

• Rachel (10/5): Great location! - This apartment is beautiful. Perfect location for everything. Walkable (with trolley luggage) from train station, even with 3 teenagers the walk was easy! The apartment had everything we needed. The apartment is nicely decorated and all the windows are brand new. It felt newly updated and clean. Owner met us at the front door and walked us up to give us a little overview of everything. To address some of the other issues people have had in reviews: 🛜Internet: it does not reach back 2 bedrooms but we were fine with the tv in back bedroom (even had 2-3 English speaking channels. The internet speed was just fine, even with 3 teens pulling on it. 🛋️ Common area: there is no living room but we enjoyed sitting around the table in kitchen and playing cards at night. I rather enjoyed not having a tv to distract us. 😷Smell: we did not experience any smells. Perhaps it depends on the time of year 🛗Elevator: the elevator only fits 3 at a time but we actually used the stairs more and out the back. We “worked off” our dinner every night. 🎧Noise: if you want to be this centrally located you are going to experience city noise. The vendors set up early (6-7 am ish) and there is city noise at night. Bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I had no problem sleeping through. 🦟Misquotes: if you leave the windows open in the evening you will be swatting a few misquotes. Common sense should tell you to just close the window and your problem goes away! Could use some new pillows otherwise this was a perfect stay!

The location was superb for wandering the city. And get it was a nice taste of Florence with decor. For a one night stop it was ok. The place is a little rundown for the price point, maybe a little cleaning of the walls and bathrooms a bit more intensive deep cleaning. Loved the decorations and beds and host. There was very noticeable sewage smell throughout, from the old pipes I assume. If the bathroom door was shut it didn’t overwhelm as much but was still lingering, but when open it took over the apartment.

Could do with refurbishing the bathrooms and the kitchen area was too small for the amount of people.

• Jdmia (7/5): I recommend this place. - Location is excellent and the appartment has AC in all the bedrooms making it very pleasant to sleep. There place had two issues and I hope the owner will fix them. If she does it will be a perfect location. The first problem was with the washing machine. We were not able to use it if any other electrical appliance is running because it will trip the fuse. Second is the internet becasue it is not available throughout the apartment. The signal does not reach two of the three bedrooms. In addition, the internet speed is very, very slow.

• Oğuzhan (9/5): wonderfull, definatley will stay again - they are so sweet, and the keeper Alfonso was always helpfull he is also lives in next door. the location is so center, 1 block away there is mercato. house was very clean beds are ok. they got 2 bathroom and 2 wc. they have free biscuits and coffee inside. there is no living room with sofas, only kitchen table is the common area. could have been cheaper but worth it :)
