• DARREN (9/5): Good overnight stay and throughly enjoyed room and facilities. Will book again in the future. - The whole place, inside is nice and felt like you weren’t in Karratha.
• Lynette (7/5): Disappointed this time. Very expensive. Previously very happy. - Love location Wasn’t as clean as it usually is and we’re told it was very busy so couldn’t have a beach side apartment. We got a back one and the place was half empty!

• Eleis (8/5): Lovely place to stay, good getaway spot! - Room was lovely and clean, modern. Washing machine in the room and lovely little outdoor area. Bathroom is needing some love from how harsh the water has been. We did have a unit above us playing music very loud till 9pm and started back up at 7am.

• Jaymin (9/5): Very comfortable, booked at the last minute. No complaints at all, service received was excellent. - The management Team with this property are brilliant, very good with the communications and letting you know how to enter the property and when you are able to check in during busy periods. The rooms are getting a little bit tired now, but this really isn't a complaint, as the rooms offer a very comfortable stay in a relatively quiet location.

• Horst-Dieter (7/5): Hatten wir nur gebucht, weil wir große Probleme hatten, etwas anderes zu finden. - Für eine Nacht geht es schon mal. Ansonsten sehr unpersönlich, hatte keinen Wohlfühlcharakter. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht, eindeutig zu teuer!

• Karen (5/5): For a short convenient cheap stay, this does the job. - Room was clean and comfortable. Kitchen induction and Webber bbq didn't work. The bathroom needed updating.

The door locks are secure with security screens, The bed very clearly had not been changed, request to have the bed linen changed, cleaner arrived 2 hours later. Air conditioner not functioning properly. Couch has stains. Unusual stain on the path and mat outside the room door. The keypad code stopped working.

• Samantha (3/5): Didn’t match listing and reviews 😔 - The staff communications to requests though bookings.com were fast and great they were very helpfully when I requested new sheets and a early check in I stayed in unit 6, after a long morning I wanted to sit on the bed and relax upon looking at the pillows I could see black marks on all four, possibly make up stains, then I moved the blanket and exposed very dirty sheets, I request a new set and the staff were so quick providing them, but I realised it was worse when I stripped the bed on found the blanket and mattress protector to be heavily stained, I went and brought my own supplies from Kmart I honestly didn’t feel clean or comfy at all and would have asked for a refund but booking a hotel last minute was just to expensive
• Jarra (7/5): This is our second time staying there and still really enjoyed it. - The apartment is nicely presented and in a good location. The little soap was good and the tea and coffee additions. The convenience of own cooking option is great. There was cockroaches in the apartment on arrival which was unpleasant. It would be nice to have hot chocolate sachets in with the tea and coffee.
• Paul (10/5): FOR A ROOM FOR THE NIGHT VERY GOOD, SIMPLE, NO LATE CHECK IN DRAMAS, WIFI GOOD, UBER MEAL GOOD - GREAT SINGLE SMS WITH EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW INCLUDING WIFI PASSWORD. WIFI VERY GOOD AUD500 WAS STEEP BUT CHEAPER THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN TOWN AT SHORT NOTICE. ON THE EDGE OF TOWN BUT KARRATHA NOW HAS UBER EATS!

• Barry (9/5): The usual standard I am accusomed to at The Dunes :-) - Easy email confirmation and door code sent. One frypan was severely burnt and still in the cupboard, needs replacing.
• Ella (4/5): I was expecting more, especially since we paid over $900. The photos looked amazing when I booked, but unfortunately the - The bed was reasonably comfortable and the toilet was okay, but the shower had hair stuck in it that looked like it had been there for a long time, which was unpleasant. The shower floor had hair stuck to it, which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The balcony was also not well-maintained, with spider webs covering many areas and giving it an unkept appearance. While the kitchen was equipped with some essentials, it was missing basic cookware such as a pan or anything suitable for proper cooking. Fortunately, we had brought our rice cooker with us, otherwise preparing meals would have been very difficult.

• Rosalind (7/5): Convenient but excessively overpriced - Close to our relatives’ home Ridiculously overpriced for the standard of accommodation with very average kitchen supplies (cheap pots and pans, poor utensils, no salt and pepper) Very noisy fridge - the freezer did not freeze! Toilet running and making loud squeaking noise intermittently through the night. Other patrons’ cigarette smoke wafting in to our room. Front wire door needing to be slammed to close properly.

• Jane (8/5): Comfortable, quiet base from which to explore Karratha - Nice roomy studio apartment, and the host was very responsive to an issue we had on checkin. Comfortable beds, lots of space for luggage storage and a well equipped kitchenette. We could even sleep with fresh air as the external screen across the front of the apartment was made of security mesh! Our entry door screen lock didn't work and I think the bathroom drains may benefit from deordorising - as the bathroom window was sealed shut, ventilation only worked when the exhaust fan was on.
