Guest Reviews
- Craig (8/5): Has been very good and we have returned multiple times - Location was great for tired tradies as meals were a short walk from the apartment. Nice and quiet after 10.00pm The upstairs people walking around can be a bit noisy.
- Bettina (9/5): Perfect getaway. Would definitely book again. - The size and cleanliness. For an old place it had a lovely clean smell. Huge bedrooms.
- Erin (10/5): We stay here every time we travel through Narrabri. Love it! -
- Heather (8/5): - Living space of the property. Kitchen smaller than expected though as our stay was short not applicable. Beds comfy , shower good. Location very central. Which unit was ours was confusing as the light was not on outside the correct unit and as we arrived so late this was disappointing. Hosts were very quick to respond and were very helpful.
- Reid (7/5): It’s a very old building therefore I understand extremely hard to make critter proof. - It was spacious. Unwanted critters visiting.
- Geoff (9/5): All we could have wished for. - Location was excellent. staff were very accommodating and friendly. Easy parkjng outside the front door. A bit old, but charming.
- Joanne (5/5): Good for a short visit but not if you need to cook - Beds were comfortable No shower door, no fans in rooms, kitchenette small
- Rod (7/5): Different - My wife & mother in law thought it was cute ( wouldn’t have if they weren’t on the bottom floor ).
I thought it was a bit different to how the internet described it Cobwebs inside & out.
Security - both doors looked like they could easily be forced open.
Holes in walls had me worried about asbestos. Should old buildings like that display they are asbestos free ?
- Martijn (9/5): -
- Ewan (10/5): - Arrive and treat it as your home.
Great space and very relaxing.
Been here before and it is the only place I will stay in future if I am in the area again.
Great phone response with Linda.
- Paul (8/5): -

- Suzanne (10/5): A quaint apartment. We can recommend it. - This is a very quaint apartment. It was very roomy and as expected it was an interesting lay out. The beds were very comfortable. The street was very quiet. The aircon did a fantastic job in the sitting area, but ceiling fans would have been a bonus in the bedrooms.
- Gavin Cope (4/5): Could have been spectacular but noise made the stay unbearable - The location is great. The building is charming. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is spacious. We were in the ground-floor unit. If there were no one in the unit above, this review would be a 10/10. But in our case, there were people in the unit above us. It's an old building, so you expect a few creaks here and there, but the floors in this building creak loudly under every step. Additionally, the floor/ceiling cavity is paper-thin and not insulated. To be clear, the people above us did nothing wrong. They weren't partying or doing anything they shouldn't have been doing. This building - in its current state - is not fit for multiple bookings. The people above us did not go to sleep the night we were there. They walked around, moved things, had conversations until 5:30am the following morning. We heard EVERYTHING. We did not get any sleep until 5:30am when they either checked out or headed out for the day. In hindsight, I should have gone and slept in the car out on the street. If you can guarantee there is no one above you, definitely stay here. Otherwise, find somewhere else.
- Jennifer (5/5): Had potential to be good if it was cleaned properly and the shower fixed. - The property location was excellent. The layout was good and beds very comfortable.
It was a ground floor apartment and could be accessible but the shower was not acceptable. The shower was not acceptable. The partial glass screen meant that the opening was narrow and very difficult to navigate for anyone elderly or who needed an accessible space.
The kitchen shelves were caked with dirt and the window sills were dirty. The prime t need a really good deep clean.
- Sarath (7/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): One night stay with family in comfort and close to Main Street - Comfortable and historical Nothing
- Rhonda (9/5): Pleasant, comfortable and well located - Comfortable and well set out for privacy for adult family members Kitchen is really a kitchenette. Don’t plan to cook complex meals
- Greg (8/5): -
- Graeme (9/5): -
- Helen (8/5): Comfortable stop in a great location. - Great location, perfect rest stop on our way through to Adelaide. We were on the ground floor and it was very obvious people were staying on the floor above. They weren’t noisy but you can hear every footstep.
- Ruth (8/5): Almost perfect - Almost everything. Smelt a little damp in the rooms.
The exit lights over the exterior doors that lit up the entire house. Very very annoying when trying to sleep.
- Terri Anne (7/5): -
- Naomi (10/5): - Beds super comfortable.
Apartment was very spacious.
- Mandy (10/5): Lovely over night stay - Clean and tidy, plenty of room Salt & Pepper would have been appreciated as would shower caps
- AlexanderTwebb (10/5): Comfortable, spacious and well located. Great host. - Extremely easy and spacious property. Communication with the host was always fast and clear. Would stay here again if in Narrabri
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Robyn (9/5): Lovely convenient stay in a unique setting, beautifully renovated and very clean and comfortable. - Excellent location, very clean. Loved the quirkiness of staying in an old mill. Very nicely renovated. As there were 4 of us a door on the shower would have added to the privacy.
- Louise (9/5): - Large property that is centrally located
- Angela (8/5): -
- Indra (9/5): A very comcortable couple of days. - Spacious and beautifully presented. Loved the balcony overlooking the town. And the washing machine and dryer were much appreciated. Instructions on how to use the cooktop would have been handy. But hosts were most helpful even when disturbed on a Saturday night.
- Natalie (10/5): Great apartment in the heart of Narrabri - What a great little place. Apartment was well appointed with everything we needed for a quick overnight stay.
Plenty of space to spread out for a bigger family or group of friends.
- Pauline (10/5): Absolutely perfect. - Modern, clean, comfortable.
Quality inclusions.
Very quiet.

- Lorcan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Megan (10/5): Very easy and convenient - Very comfortable for family of 7
- Julia (8/5): Great little stay, good value. - Comfortable beds.
Central location.
Number of beds and rooms.
Spacious apartment.
Good price.
Comfortable couches. Small kitchen area - unavoidable and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.
Bathroom taps and shower heads need replacing (due to corrosive local water).
Drinking water was lacking.
- Cheryl (8/5): Very nice, have been there 3 other times - Location
Style of building, nostalgic Love to had a wardrobe or better hanging space
- Delma (9/5): Superb -
- Deon (10/5): This property is extremely comfortable and is highly recommended. - A unique property in an excellent location
- Nerolie (8/5): Great space to catch up with family & friends - Great space , perfect for a catch up with my sister. Nice & quiet.
- Angus (10/5): Exceptional - Well located in the middle of town. Comfortable and really suited the get together for our group of 7.
- Eric (7/5): This place has real potential. A bit of time spent improving the small things would make such a difference. - Location, size (except for the kitchen), beds were comfortable, ambience was great. Not enough crockery, cutlery, chairs etc for the number of people who can stay. Little things were lacking like nowhere to store clothes, or hang towels. The kitchen utensils were very spartan (eg. no egg flip) and the cutting knives were blunt. We also had to go looking for spare toilet rolls, garbage bags and cloths. The freezer in the fridge was completely frosted up. TV reception was poor which we put down to the type of aerial used.
- Jo-anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabrielle (5/5): Passable - The location was good and had plenty of room. The family in the upstairs apartment were loud. Every time they moved around their apartment it was like elephants stampeding. I am not sure about the fixed shower screen either. It limited access. If you were pregnant, you would not be able to have a shower.
- Keren (9/5): Superb - Enjoyed the history and staying somewhere a bit different
- Danielle (8/5): Very good - Lived the aesthetic and everything supplied. Organisation with the booking person. No code was provided to get in. We had to call a few times to get this provided code.
- Zoe (10/5): We had a group of friends. We all got ready together and had some drinks then headed off for the night. When we got home - It was very spacious and clean There was no shower door. Someone couldn’t have a shower while someone was on the toilet
- Michael (10/5): I enjoyed the time during my stay. Linda had easy and clear instructions and communication. I would recommend this prope - Extremely clean and finished well. Great location to Main Street. Easy access in and out.
- Charles (2/5): Very poor - The bedrooms were all round good, tidy and comfortable. The kitchenette was a lot smaller than expected, with only 1 hot plate and an air fryer we found it to be quite dirty having to clean it on arrival. The shower was also not very clean with cobwebs and dirty fans. Our biggest problem was the noise from above. If you're a light sleeper, you might have a problem.
- Jamilee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darcy (10/5): It work well for us - It was good and quite and we we able to park our car off road All good
- Norman (10/5): So unique, can't wait to be back - Loved the uniqueness of staying in a renovated flour mill. Furniture was beautiful very boho chic Nothing
- Michelle (6/5): Great location but the cleaning could improve. - Comfortable bed and couch Vents need a clean and no deeper maintenance cleaning.
- Jayantha (9/5): Superb -
- Robyn (9/5): Comfortable clean and very handy position. should suit all - Decor , very clean, great position, ample room, Toilet needed setting, slight movement
- Steve (10/5): Great location, spacious and good value -
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional for Narrabri highly recommend - Very practical with kids very clean would highly recommend this
This is the second time I have stayed here
- Daniel (10/5): Perfect accommodation for us on our road trip through the area. - Central location. Amazing conversion of historical building.
- Kurt (9/5): Thank you for a great stay! It was a great space for our family of 7. - We appreciated the board games for our kids.
- Aliyah (5/5): Passable -
- Tony (10/5): Very easy to deal with and great location. - Great location. Nothing
- Jennie (6/5): Pleasant - Great location We only had 3 towels for 4 adults. The coffee machine leaked water all over the bench.
- Lyn (10/5): Great stay - Comfortably beds Unfortunately Council
Was doing work out front
- Bourchier (9/5): Superb - Very roomy.
- Rob (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (7/5): Unique apartment. Full of character. - The location. Close to town and clubs.
Very unique and full of character.
Beds were very comfortable.
Appreciated the water cooler
Great shower and bathroom.
Keyless entry worked well.
Loved it and would stay again. The kitchen was very poky. Difficult to wash up. No where to put the drainage tray.
Toilet moved when we sat on it. -- understand still renovating
People upstairs were noisy moving around.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (9/5): Comfortable and well appointed accommodation. Located on quite street near centre of Narrabri. - Spacious accomodation - large bedrooms and sitting area, plus separate office and kitchenette. This would be great for families or small groups. Some noise from people walking around in the apartments above. Also there was work being done in back yard and workers arrived on site around 6am.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Kristel (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location, cleanliness, and beautiful decor, the ease of checking in was great, as we arrived later in the evening. Really lovely accommodation😊 Nothing
- Bradley (9/5): Wonderful host and walking distance to shops. Our host was very accommodating - Large unit and very well presented You could hear the top floor tenant’s walking across the floor boards.
- Jan (9/5): Clean,comfortable and what we wanted. -
- Kimberly (10/5): Great Location, highly recommend - Amazing location. Amazing communication regarding check in. The apartment was very comfortable for our stay.
- Brewer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brent (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very comfortable and convenient -
- Christine (6/5): Needs some attention in some areas - The rooms were clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable The apartment was on the ground floor and there appeared to be very little insulation between it and the second floor apartment. There was considerable noise from the occupants on the second level, we actually thought they were renovating the room above. But this wasn't the case. The insulation between the foors needs to be checked.
Also the tv wasn't able to pick up a signal.
- Terence (10/5): Excellent. - It was a nice, historical place to stay, was pretty cool, really, I liked it. Do not know what could have been better.
- Ashley (5/5): Passable - Loved that it had everything needed for a family. Kitchen was small.
Bathroom setup was odd, couldn't use the toilet when someone was showering.
This place is definitely not sound proof, couldn't sleep from the partying upstairs and you can literally hear them walking about.
- Ron (9/5): Superb -
- Rob (6/5): Pleasant - Position No parking on site as advertised. Not good ambience. Wrong coffee capsules for machine. Shower would not turn off. Lack of towel hooks near shower. Difficult to wash up in tiny kitchen.
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious, warm, freshly decorated ,comfy, everything we needed For 6 people it would be good to have the toilet separate from the bathroom.
- Malcolm (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (9/5): Great stop for a group! Self check in easy and beds super comfortable - Spacious and having a bedroom each was perfect for a good night sleep after a long day driving. The fire exit light was very bright. Upstairs was very loud
- Alison (10/5): Fabulous alternative to a basic motel room. Highly recommend! - Great old historical building transformed into 3 accommodation units. Well appointed and very comfortable. Owner/ hosts extremely helpful and friendly, assisting quickly and stress free with a small plumbing hiccup. Resulting in us having the option to move the unit above, which was also exceptional and very well appointed. Nothing.
- Barbara (7/5): Comfortable but noisy. - Nicely appointed and clean. The noise. Chainsaws and heavy equipment at 6.30am. Upper floor noise from people thumping about also from around 6.30am. Not a peaceful stay.
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glen (9/5): Superb -
- Cheryl (8/5): It was comfortable cosy clean decor was pleasant & fitting - Comfortable warm clean & location Nothing
- Tracey (9/5): Superb -
- Tania (10/5): Exceptional -
- Troy (9/5): Spacious, comfortable and within walking distance of many of Narrabri's best places to eat - I did not need to pick up any keys, the property was easy to book, comfortable, convenient and roomy I think that there was no privacy door to the shower room. But otherwise this is excellent accomodation
- James (8/5): Family get together was fun in this unique stay. - Convienent for our family to share some time together, unusual but family friendly Would have loved more functional bathroom/ toilet layout but it worked
