Watching birds and wallabies feeding while hot air balloons are taking off in the background. Still within minutes from restaurants, wineries and attractions. Ease of booking and interaction with lovely owner. Wasn't able to stay longer.

The house was absolutely spotless, beautifully presented, and the view was simply stunning. It felt cozy, relaxing, and perfect for a weekend getaway.
• anna (10/5): Fantastic stay and will be back. - The villa was exactly as described and in the photos. It was a very comfortable spacious villa with a deck to sit on for our meals. It was vey clean with 3 bedrooms upstairs. One of them an ensuite and a family bathroom for the other 2 bedrooms. Great comfy king size beds. Huge lounge room to relax in though we sat outside on the deck most of the time. The kitchen had plenty of pantry stales and condiments to cook a meal! We were very happy to be there. I had brought my overseas friends to the Hunter Valley and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you Denise you were great to communicate with and very thoughtful! Nothing at all!

Loved that it was pet friendly. The owner is very accomodating and helpful. The kitchen has everything you need to eat in. It’s close to great wineries. Our favourite Iron Gate estate. The complimentary wine was also a nice surprise. Loved the shower amenities. We travelled with kids, the pool was a place we visited every day, it was a bit of a walk to the pool but You can drive to park closer though.

• Belinda (9/5): A wonderful place to stay for a weekend in the Hunter. Close to lots of wineries and places to eat. We highly recommend - There was plenty of room for a family of six adults. All the little extra touches were perfect - coffee pods, pantry supplies, kitchen facilities, plenty of wine glasses (very handy!) and great bathroom supplies. The beds were comfy and air con helped in the hot November weather. Parking close by and quiet location away from main resort area. Denise was a great host and communication was excellent! A complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Overall a great stay and we look forward to returning one day.

The host was also super-helpful throughout the whole stay. We are definitely coming back. Nothing about the house itself, but you need a car to stay there. That's the reality in the Hunter Valley.

Kitchen had ample equipment to allow us to cook in. Plenty of parking for two cars. Wonderful location for access to Pokolbin wineries and local golf courses. Communication with our host (Denise) was a breeze. One thing worth noting - the description says three bathrooms. In fact its two bathrooms at the bedrooms level and a downstairs toilet. The main bathroom is large enough to share.

The property is fabulous, gorgeous decor, such a beautiful view (we could see the hot air balloons in the early morning light), the beds are super comfortable, the location is perfect, we walked to Roche Estate for a concert. Lots of hot water and the showers are awesome. We’ll definitely be back!

Just unfortunate that we couldn’t use the resort’s facilities as it was booked for the whole weekend of our stay. And the notification from the resort was sent to our host at very short notice.

Super clean and easy communication with owner. Not much to complain about. Maybe a few stairs or small walk from car, but most of this estate is the same.

• Janine (10/5): Excellent hospitality and super comfy - Will be back! - Prior to arrival, Denise was BEYOND helpful with advice on the region including services. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome message and gift. The room was furnished magnificently, with every beautiful glass and dish you would ever need to entertain guests and condiments provided as a bonus. This really helps when travelling as purchasing salt, pepper, cling wrap etc can be expensive. I personally loved that they even used 'who gives a crap' toilet paper. The compendium provided ample information and all instructions were very clear. There were 7 of us staying but it was very comfortable and we didn't feel crowded. I'd love to return when it's cold so we could light the fire! Nothing to complain about. However, due to the trees there is no longer a view. This didn't disappoint us but if you book here for a view of the Golf Course, you won't get one. I don't imagine anyone has a view though, not just this villa. Make sure you check the prices / menu of the on site restaurant via their website as they must change regularly so the compendium is not necessarily up to date.

The kitchen and laundry area were well equiped with modern appliances and supplies for our stay. The fireplace was very welcomed as it was chilly of an evening. A wonderful place for our small group to stay. The beds were a little uncomfortable.

She actually offered us an extra night, and as it was Easter left us lots of goodies such as hot cross buns, Easter eggs and fresh milk for our tea and coffee. The kitchen was great, beds were super comfy, and the lounge area and balcony were wonderful for a group of 6. The kids really appreciated the colouring in books, pencils and games, and the adults appreciated the bottle of wine :) The only slight negative would be the fact that the pool is a drive away from the villa, it's not close by. But as it was too cold to swim it didn't bother us.
