The bathroom left a lot to be desired and the rusty shower head wasn’t great. There was also not enough cutlery and plates/bowls for number of guests.

El apartamento de PB tiene una ventana que da al palier, cuya luz está prendida 24 hs: no tiene cortina y es muy molesto para dormir. Ese apartamento también es ruidoso (se escuchan los ruidos del palier de entrada cuando los otros huespedes salen y entran del edificio.

Aldo (9/5): excelentes apartamentos en la bonita zona de providencia - ubicación excelente, muy cerca de restaurantes y boliches... muy segura y limpia. además hay disponibilidad de transporte público en caso de querer moverse. el contenedor de basura que hay en la puerta es insuficiente para todos los apartamentos, se llena muy rápido. hubo días de temperaturas bajas, si bien sabíamos que no tiene aire acondicionado, quizás algún medio de calefacción extra ayude.

Paul (8/5): Great apartment - Apartment is perfect for a stay in Santiago. Centre is a 25 min walk or close to metro lines. Apartment was clean, quiet, well equipped and big enough for the stay. The local area and particularly Italia ave are great although I only discovered this on the final morning. 😔 My only concern was communication. I didn't realise I would need a code to get into the building so being left in the street with limited way of communicating and no way of getting in was disconcerting. There is no reception on site. Luckily after a while and sending a few unanswered messages the maid opened the door and was so helpful. She got me into my room and contacted the owners. To be fair they apologised for the mix up.
Dantas (4/5): 2 stars accomodation. - Location Bathroom was pretty bad. The apartment was dirty, the bathroom walls had mould, and the floor and skirting were dirty. The bed sheets had stains, which gave us the impression it wasn't washed well. The apartment has a portable tiny heater, which I assume isn't enough for cold nights. The bathroom didn't have facilities like shampoos, soaps etc.
Scott (7/5): Has more potential. Need to sort out the blinds! - Great location - perfect for nice cafes and restaurants. Nice little flat with decent kitchen facilities. Staff that we were messaging over Whatsapp were helpful and accommodating. It's so so bright in the room as the blinds are not fit for purpose. They let in so much light throughout the night and in the morning. The flat needs a bit of love as it's looking tired. A fresh lick of paint and a new shower head, for example. Has more potential.
El (7/5): Good - The location is near restaurants, bakeries, and bars. The beds were good and clean. The apartment has a good distribution and luminosity. The apartment keeps fresh despite the weather outside. Very comfortable. When we arrived, the floor and saucepans were not clean. It seems that the janitor did not check them. The shower makes a lot of noise when you use hot water. Outside the building, they leave a bin that smells so bad.
Karen (5/5): Noise and hot - Nice decorated Next door you have a pub, where they play music until very late. Additionaly to this, you don’t have air conditioner, just a little fan.
Andre (7/5): Good space, very good value for money - Very well located in a cute neighborhood filled with bars and restaurants, yet far from the noise. Good value for the money. Easy check-in and check-out and great communication with the host. Well equipped kitchen. There is no air conditioner. Flat needs better maintenance. Shoddy plumbing in the bathroom- both shower drain and sink drain clogg after few minutes. Small things like rusty shower head need replacing; missing screws here and there. Curtains don’t leave the light out fully at night.
Verified traveler (10/5): perfect Santiago apartment - I really enjoyed my stay, the apartment was exactly what I was looking for as a solo traveller. It had everything I needed and I really liked the location. The entry system worked well. The main problem I had was trying to get the access information for the property ahead of time. I was told it would be sent out 24 hours ahead, and I was getting on a long-distance bus to Santiago with no internet access. I had to find a coffee shop to get wifi to finally get the info, which had come through a couple of hours before check-in. It was also very loud one night from the bar on the corner: this was a one-off during my week long stay, but it did go on until 5am! I would stay here again due to the location and good presentation of the flat.

Desislava (9/5): Cool appartment to stay in Santiago's hip neighbourhood - Wonderful apartment to stay in Santiago's Barrio Italia. Location is perfect with bars, restaurants, shops and subway connection nearby. Safe, clean and quiet at the same time. Communication with host via WhatsApp was fine, we received a door code and instructions. Parking might be tricky, there is no garage. We didn't need any additional services for our stay, but keep in mind there is no reception or someone to meet you and no regular cleaning. It is simply a nice appartment to stay in.
Sonia (9/5): An excellent place. I will certainly be happy to go back and recommend it to friends and family. - Great location and super cute apartment. Very modern and clean. Kitchen was also well equipped. (Part 02). I also loved the quiet little private garden. A little damp and cold (August) but they quickly gave me another radiator which made the entire difference. Paint in the entrance is bubbly and needs fixing. Some plugs to be fixed too.

Aidan (8/5): Very good - Nice place to stay in Barrio Italia. Very close to lots of cafes and restaurants. The apartment itself was very clean, had a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. There is enough kitchen utensils to do some basic cooking. It has a nice little patio out the back to sit in. Communication was also excellent both before and during our stay. The apartment could do with a coat of paint. Minor issue as the place was very clean.

The shower head had a lot od sediment, the windows in the bedroom very dirty on the inside, stains on the bed in the kitchen, big splash stain on the ceiling in the kitchen, red stains on the bedding. The white couch should be removed, it does not encourage to sit on it. The floors and table were sticky. A thorough cleaning is necessary.... Also a minor detail - tere were not even a few bags of tea, which I consider the minimum standard in an apartment with a kitchen.

Wesson (9/5): Wonderful location, nice apartment. Recommend! - Fantastic location - Barrio Italia is a really wonderful area of Santiago and we loved walking around nearby! The apartment itself was very clean, recently renovated and attractive, comfortable, and practical. Keyless entry and checkin/out was convenient, especially since our flight was at 1:00 am, so we checked out around 21:30 and didn’t have to make special arrangements or inconvenience anyone. The property managers were very responsive! Just FYI, this is a no-elevator, no-air conditioning building. We were on the top floor (4th floor for US measurements/3rd floor Europe) in high summer (low 90s F for highs). The stairs and temperature inside were ok for us (using the desk fan and keeping most windows open ~ FYI, no screens, but we didn’t experience bugs or have noise problems), but might not be for all, especially if you like it cool.
Gruiab (10/5): Lovely place in Barrio Italia - This is a fantastic place! The apartment itself is lovely, and the location is great- minutes away from restaurants and bars in Barrio Italia, a great lowrise neighborhood. Well furnished, pleasant, nice balcony. The staff was helpful- I was allowed to check in early after an overnight flight, they brought me a chair to do computer work (the bar chairs were not meant for that). I would come back! Wifi was patchy and stopped working at times in the main room. There was noise at 7am several mornings on the main corridor. I prolonged my stay but no fresh towels nor bedsheets were brought over after 7 days (as per the house rules), although I asked for them. But, all in all, a great place!
