• Yaser (10/5): Awesome apartment in a great location and responsive owner - The property is a 5 minute walk to the center of Ilidža where you can find grocery stores, delicious restaurants with traditional Bosnian food, and pijaca (pee.ya.tsa aka farmers market) where you can find fresh fruits and vegetables. The apartments has (almost) everything you needs like a dishwasher and utensils. It was very clean upon arrival. It’s bigger than I thought and had plenty of beds for the 5 of us. This is subjective but the beds were very comfortable too. The most impressive thing is the owners service. We communicated via WhatsApp and he brought us anything we were missing for free like towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent etc. He was responsive, kind and professional. The apartment also comes with a near by parking spot. It’s a little tricky to drive to sometimes but it’s there. The AC unit is only in the living room so you’ll have to leave the doors open to get some air. The apartment is surrounded by trees and buildings so it doesn’t get much sun so it’s not hot inside. This brings me to the biggest issue with the place. No dryer. Due to not receiving much sun our clothes didn’t dry on the drying rack in the balcony. We managed but be aware of it. The owner is working on a solution by maybe putting a dryer in the basement.
