• Alice (9/5): Bellissimo soggiorno!! - La struttura è gestita da host super disponibili e accoglienti. È dotata di tutti i comfort: ha la tv, le stoviglie, alcune spezie e detersivi. Presenta anche la lavastoviglie. Il letto è comodo e spazioso. È a circa 20’ a piedi dalle attrazioni principali, ma la strada è piacevole e sicura. Si trova in un quartiere residenziale che ci ha fatto sentire sempre molto safe. I proprietari si sono sempre preoccupati che tutto andasse per il meglio, consiglio vivamente !
• Daniel (9/5): Great hostess welcomes you to a private apartment in the owner's buiilding - This great small studio apartment has its own floor in the owner's building. Beppie the hostess was wonderful and chatted about life in Amsterdam, places to see, and life in general. What a great hostess! The location is slightly outside the town center, but an easy walk or subway ride takes you right to all the action. I preferred walking when possible since the waterfront and the parks and architecture are all great to see in Amsterdam. Don't forget the Dutch stairs! In older Dutch houses the stairs are always steep and the bathrooms always small.

• Katie (10/5): Wonderful stay! - Beppie and Robert were great hosts. We communicated through what’s app and they answered any questions we had. The apartment was very nice and clean and had everything we needed. It was close to a metro stop so it was easy to travel around. I would highly recommend to stay here.

• Fulya (9/5): Great host, great location, home at Amsterdam. - It was like visiting a relative’s house😊The host was great, due to the line in passport control out arrival was late. But Beppie was very understanding and welcomed us with a warm smile. The location was great, walling distance to the central Amsterdam and close to the metro and the trams. I would prefer to sleep in white or light colored sheets. The sheets were flannel nice and suitable for the winter time. And due to my physical conditions, the steep stairs was somewhat challenging although been informed about.

Desde a casa deslocamo-nos sempre a pé. A casa é muito confortável, quentinha e com todas as comodidades. Esperamos voltar e ficar na Six.

• Celia (9/5): Beppe and Robert’s place was wonderfully warm, inviting, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. - Beppe and Robert’s place was very welcoming and cozy. It was very well appointed with everything we needed, making our stay very comfortable The stairs from the front door were very steep. Ok for us but some may struggle. There was no conventional oven - not a big deal but would have been handy.

• Małgorzata (10/5): Bardzo polecam tym, którzy wolą pomieszkać w fajnym i klimatycznym miejscu. - Bardzo przytulne mieszkanko, zlokalizowane przy spokojnej ulicy. Mieliśmy ok 15 minut spacerem do centrum, ale w pobliżu jest też komunikacja miejsca, wiec bez problemu można dojechać także tramwajem. Miejsce ma świetną atmosferę - mieszkasz w starej, amsterdamskiej kamieniczce, z wąskimi schodkami prowadzącymi do mieszkania. Widać, że właściciele włożyli dużo serca, aby nadać miejscu przytulności. Mieszkanie jest ciepłe (byliśmy w październiku), czyściutkie, ze wszystkimi udogodnieniami. Nawet starsza łazienka ma swój niepowtarzalny klimat :) Właściciele byli przemili, bardzo pomocni i gotowi do pomocy, czy podpowiedzi. Mieszkało nam się świetnie i żałujemy, że tak krótko.

• GKKT (10/5): Comfortable and easy - Wonderful hospitality! It was the best of all my stays. They created a truly lovely home atmosphere — you feel like part of the house, yet completely private. Having a kitchen was a great advantage. The host provides all the basic needs. Thank you so much! Communication was always through messages, and the host responded very quickly. The location is perfect — very close to both the metro and tram lines, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. I was sad to leave :( The house is right next to the canal on a quiet street. Thank you for everything — it was such a pleasant stay! Wifi connection is perfect Everything was wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay. - What I liked most about the stay is that it didn’t feel like a typical accommodation, but more like visiting a family member – warm and welcoming, just like staying at an aunt’s place. • Heather (10/5): Wonderful hosts in a homely apartment. - The location was in the student area which meant there were great supermarkets and restaurants at reasonable prices. The apartment was very homely and the owners were extremely helpful. Being able to do the washing before our cruise was a bonus. Nothing much. It was expensive but so is everywhere in Amsterdam. The wonderful hosts and the extras in the apartment made it worth it.

• Fred (9/5): Comfortable and convenient - Six is a traditional canal-side residence that gives it a homely feel. Beppie and Robert were great hosts who made us most welcome. The flat is within their home and shares the extremely steep entrance stairway. Not recommended for older clients, although, we being quite fit late 70's managed them OK. The hosts helped with suitcases both on arrival and when checking out. The flat is full of homely things not usually found in rented spaces giving you a sense of being at home. The well appointed and stocked kitchen enabled us to prepare most of our meals using supplies from a supermarket close by. Fantastic location with Supermarket, takeaways, Metro and Buses all just a few steps away. And just a couple of Metro stops from the centre. We we able to walk to some of the main attractions. nothing really.

You have a 5 minute walk to metro, tram and bus stops or a 20/30 minute walk to museum quarter. We enjoyed our stay and we’ll come back again. Thanks again to Beppie, the owner, for her help and kindness.

We thought it was dated and nowhere to store your clothes properly. We lived out of our suitcases. We wouldn't use six again if visiting Amsterdam. Prefer to stay in a hotel

We were able to leave our luggage earlier which was a huge plus. This place is very close to the transit system so we could easily use a tram or a train.

• Alister (10/5): Great place to stay, with incredibly helpful hosts. - A great place to stay. Beppie was hugely helpful with times and communication, and provided us with some great places to go and look at and restaurant recommendations. Comfy, well located, and did everything we needed and more. A note to say also that the bed is much larger than it appears in the photos - it accommodated me at 198cm and my wife at 185 very comfortably. Nothing really - I would have given six stars if the cats had have been around more.
• William (10/5): Three night stop over. - The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. We were resting from a US flight before a cruise. From here we did an evening canal tour and a half day at the beautiful zoo. Our hosts were very helpful. We were even able to do a load of laundry. The shower was very nice. The room was a little small and the sink was in the bedroom instead of the bathroom.

Even told me a few places to go in the area and a local shop I could get some food and snacks. There was nothing I didn't like apart from the rain. that nobody can help with.

• Hayward (10/5): Lovely stay in this well located studio from a great friendly host. - Great location for a weekend stay, near the university so away from peak noise and tourism but still a very easy walk into the red lights etc. Excellent communication and helpful advice Beware that there's an active school outside the window literally Monday to Friday! Get dressed before you go into the kitchen!!! If you're there for coffeeshops etc you might find that a bit challenging in the morning But didn't affect us at all. Certainly we would love to stay again. Really highly recommended studio apartment.

Very easy to access with a metro station 3 minutes away with direct connection to the central station. A lovely area to explore and close to museums, botanical gardens and many bars and restaurants. Beppie and Robert are very friendly and caring hosts! I would recommend staying at Studio Six and will visit again. If think that those looking for a hotel-like stay will perhaps not suit Studio Six as is more of a home stay but it was very well suited to our needs. Authentic Dutch experience I think.

• Mariya (9/5): A cozy place near the historic center of Amsterdam - The place is in a very nice location, within walking distance of the city center and really close to a metro station. It is equipped with all necessities. The price is very good considering the location and quality of the property. The hosts are very nice and helpful. The communication with them is easy and they respond fast. They also have a lovely library with books available at the property and paintings for art lovers to enjoy! Keep in mind that the stairs leading to the second floor are very steep and it is difficult to transport suitcases up and down. However, the situation is similar in many buildings in the Netherlands due to the shortage of land, and the need for its maximum utilization. Overall, I would recommend staying at Studio Six.
