• Judy (7/5): Apartment in Funen Park - The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed. I appreciated that it was a ground floor apartment with no stairs. The area was close to public transport and there was a supermarket nearby - very convenient. There was also a fabulous bar/restaurant just near the windmill. It was called De Kop van Oost and I can highly recommend it. Olly and Regina were very responsive and helpful hosts. It's pretty obvious that Olly and Regina have had some bad experiences with guests so I understand why they would warn and prohibit unruly behaviour. I just found the signs and posters about this to be a bit much.

• Grant Dow (8/5): Nice place - Easy to work with Oliver, he walked us through almost everything. Kinda like someone was there and decided to lease it to us.

• Michael (10/5): Eine Top-Ferienwohnung mit ausgezeichneter Betreuung durch die Gastgeber. - Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zentrum von Amsterdam erreicht man sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bus und Bahn). Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist top. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Ein Supermarkt ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Die Betreuung durch Regina war hervorragend. Besonders ihre Tips was man in Amsterdam unternehmen kann waren klasse. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Parken kann man etwas entfernt auf einem Park and Ride Parkplatz. Wenn man den günstigen P & R Tarif haben möchte, muss man aber die Anweisungen dazu genau befolgen. Man kann auch in der Straße vor der Ferienwohnung parken, was aber sehr teuer ist. Das eignet sich aber gut zum Aus- und Einladen. Wir haben nichts auszusetzen.

• Laura (10/5): A lovely apartment and stay for our first family holiday - The property was perfect for our stay as a young family. The area is quiet with easy access to attractions and Amsterdam city centre. We were able to walk to our activities although we were given useful information about the local buses/trams when we checked in. There is a children’s playground near by and a supermarket to pick up supplies. The apartment itself was comfortable and had plenty of space to relax. We made use of the washing machine (essential with a baby!) and there were plenty of towels, blankets and sheets. Communication and check in was straightforward and the owner was really helpful (for example they provided pictures of the cot prior to our trip). The apartment is in a quiet area and there are lots of notices to remind those staying to be quiet after 8pm therefore it would not be suitable for those who were staying as a group.

The only thing is that there was constructions outside the building (near our bedroom window).that the host didn't tell us about.

• Archana (10/5): Great place for a family vacation - The property is located in a very nice, quiet and safe residential neighborhood. There are green belts where neighbors picnic and a park for kids right across the apartment. Grocery store, tram and bus stations, and many cafes/ restaurants just down the street. The apartment was bright, airy and spacious. It came fully stocked with non perishable groceries in the kitchen, (pasta, tea, coffee, spices, etc) the laundry room had fabric detergent and softener, and extra cleaning supplies , the bathroom had soap, shampoo, extra toilet paper. Every closet had extra towels, sheets, blankets. Umbrellas by the doorway. It was a great space to unwind and relax. Every room had a fan. Both bedrooms had a queen bed and the sofa was large enough to sleep one. One full bathroom with toilet and a half bath with toilet only. The owner and his associate were very friendly, gave us a lot of helpful info to navigate the city, and useful info about the neighborhood. Our family enjoyed our stay at this property and would highly recommend. Nothing we didn’t like.

The living space was large, open and having the small deck with sliding doors to let in the fresh air was enjoyable. It’s very close to a great tram line and easy to navigate to places. He stocks it with basic supplies but several groceries are within 2 blocks. The kitchen was perfect with all appliances , dishes and glassware one could need to cook when desired. We had two sets of keys which worked well for two couples. Nothing
• Juraj (9/5): Superb - Great location for families with kids near the city center and directly in front of a children playground. Big apartment with plenty space for a family with full equipment. Great introduction to the apartment and communication with the owner. Great connection to mass transit. Too much signs prohibiting smoking, etc., which we do understand (bad experience with other guests), however it lowers the impression from the apartment.
• Meir (9/5): Spacious well eqipped apartment - Quiet residential neighbourhood, away from the noise and the crowds. Easy access to public transportation as well as groceries and simple eateries. Great WIFI. Owners are helpful and respond quickly to issues and questions that arise. For a family vacation, it is great. Two private bedrooms, a main washroom plus a two piece, and (very important) a spacious, open living/dining/ kitchen area to hang out together. Long walks or trams needed to get to all tourist venues. Shower is clearly an "add-on to the main bathroom and is awkward to use.
• Maria (8/5): Spacious and bright apartment in a convenient location - This is a great option for those who want to experience Amsterdam, but still want a quiet space to unwind. It's only a short drive from the centre and all major attractions (around 10mins) or you can walk as well (35mins). The apartment is spacious and bright, with a nice balcony. The rooms are comfortable and the living area spacious. Even though we didn't need them, the kitchen has all the necessary amenities to cook a meal. The hosts were communicative and attentive. The only negative from our experience is the fact that we weren't told that there is a security camera pointing at the front door, inside of the apartment. Even though there is a sign at the door, it's not clear if the camera is inside or outside of the house. I feel like this is something that should've been said in advance so whoever is staying there is aware, especially when there's a mirror at the entrance that probably reflects the image of anyone coming in and out of one of the bedrooms.

• Toby (9/5): The apartment and owner were amazing, I would certainly recommend this property to those who are visiting Amsterdam. - The apartment was a great size and was cleaned thoroughly before we checked in. Additionally, the owner was very accommodating upon our check in. The apartment also had all necessary utensils and equipment to cook etc for an extended period of time, which was hugely useful. The property itself was amazing, the only drawbacks are the inability to smoke inside / on the balcony - which is understandable due to the area the property is in but wasn’t ideal for what we wanted. The owner was very accommodating regarding this and provided alternatives which lessened this issue. The only other issue is that the property is slightly too far from the centre of Amsterdam for those who are travelling to visit coffee shops and experience night life.

The apartment is very nice, with a lot of light, and well equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. It's a very quiet location in a park in a nice neighborhood with a few supermarkets and cafes nearby. We felt very safe. The host was very nice and attentive.

The noise restrictions were a bit too over the top. If you are going to stay here, do not talk in the hallways when coming back or you will get a noise complaint.

• Sue (8/5): We enjoyed our trip to Amsterdam. We walked twice from the apartment to the city and back and then caught the bus 22 the - The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. The area is clean and very quiet. Oliver was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. It was good to have Netflix and Prime on the tv to watch after a long day exploring the city. Great vegetarian restaurant nearby. Personally I found the noise from the air conditioning(?) did disturb me during the night making it difficult to get to sleep. I did find it odd that the wall in the second bedroom had been plastered but left bare and not painted making it look unfinished.

He also wanted 100 euros up-front in case anything was broken. I refused to pay. An awful welcome to the property, very unsettling. None of the above was clear from the advert, despite the owners claim to the contrary Needless to say, I will not use this apartment again

Helpful and not intrusive. Sent messages to make sure we were settled and comfortable... Amazing ! Don't want to say I didn't like as that's too strong... I would only make a suggestion that some of the appliances should have a manual on usage - especially if guests are not from Europe. Figured out the washing machine and the others but it took time. A small manual would be appreciated with pictures.
• Mark (10/5): Home from home in Amsterdam - This is a very comfortable and cosy apartment. Light and airy and very well equipped. The neighbourhood is a peaceful residential area very close to bus and tram stops, and our host was really helpful. The combination of modern decor with heritage furniture is a delight, and I enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen. It is rare to find such a well equipped kitchen in a rental place. We love this apartment and will try and stay here every time we visit Amsterdam.

• Nick (10/5): Neat place 20min from Centraal with a pretty chill vibe. - Host was super flexible with our arrival times and flight delays. Apartment is decent size, beds were comfy. Had a third sleep on the sofa, which was pretty good too. Didn't spend that much time in the place, but could easily just hang out there if not sightseeing. Easy enough to get to from Centraal with just one 20min bus ride away. Nice little waffle place around the corner too!
