- Alana (10/5): Exceptional experience! - what a gem of an apartment in Andermatt! The location was so convenient - perfectly situated within a short walk of the both ski gondolas, the grocery store, restaurants, the train station - everything was within walking distance. The views were jaw dropping and the the apartment struck an excellent balance between authentically Swiss and modern. The apartment was spacious, the bed was comfy, the kitchen was well appointed, there was a heated gear room for our ski things and we had everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home away from home. Most notably though, Renate was an exceptional host- incredibly kind, accommodating, thoughtful and communicative- one of the best experiences we’ve had with a host in all of our many travels! Would stay here again in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend to other travelers! The only challenge we had with this stay was with the church bells in the late hours of the evening and very early hours of the morning - this was no fault of the accommodation though, just a quirk of the town to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper!
