• Luiz Felipe (8/5): - The apartment is located in a vibrant neighborhood at walking distance from the Paseo de Gracia and not very far from attractions like the Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter, and the Barceloneta beach. The apartment itself is spacious and well equipped, and the two bathrooms are a very good positive. The communication about how to get into the property was a bit confusing. I was not informed in advance over the apartment number, or how I should get access to the building, and the same regarding the check out. Luckily, the host answered my phone call and the cleaning person was there and could open the door for me.

• Semra (9/5): - Beautiful apartment, full of character in a good neighborhood. Although easily accessible, if you have problems walking and want to visit la Rambla, Gothic quarter and barconeleta you will need a taxi.. Information about local restaurants etc. would be helpful.

Mieszkanie okazało się jasne, duże i przestronne z dwiema sypialniami, co w przypadku rodzinnego pobytu ma znaczenie. Lokal usytuowany blisko Centrum. Do Placu Katalonia mieliśmy ok 15 min piechotą. W pobliży liczne sklepy i restauracje. Z gospodarzem był bardzo szybki i dobry kontakt. Polecam !!!

• Egbert (8/5): Great location, clean and comfortable. - The location was safe and within walking distance of many tourist sites There were small things, but Stefano immediately took care of them, such as replacing the electric tea kettle and hand soap for the bathroom. However, at the end of our visit, we had to share one roll of TP for two bathrooms.

• Adriana (10/5): Nice, clean and comfortable appartment in good location. - Nice, clean appartment with lots of light in rooms, we loved french windows and view. Appartment is on the 2nd floor, there is an elevator. The cleaning lady waited for us with the key. Two bathrooms is an advantage, towels were big and soft. Beds are comfortable with 2 pillows for each bed , which was nice. We appreciated full jar of coffee capsules for the whole stay. Communication with owner was good and helpful. Old pans should be changed. Not enough soap in one bathroom.

• Nico (8/5): Awesome ,I would stay here again. - The location was perfect as it was just far away but close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city. The size of the apartment was great for a family of 4 with two grown up kids ,especially 2 bathrooms and the 2 single beds. A classic apartment in the heart of Eixample with an awesome Restaurants ,bakery ,ice cream and supermarkets close by , just so convenient. Owner communication was quick and so kind to let us use the apartment for a bit longer as we had a late departure ,Thank you. We loved everything and could get by but need to make owner aware that this place would be perfect if they would update Living room couch and seating, Kitchen appliances, TV and get rid of all the old . So just saying , needs an update "upgrade". But that's my view.
• Dione (8/5): Good, comfortable stay, great location, but non luxury; overall good value for the money - The location is excellent. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the Rambla but it was nice to be a little bit on the outskirts in my opinion. The place was very clean and the host is very responsive. We loved that there were 2 full bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms as we were a family of 4, with two grown adult children. The place is a good size and we were able to play card games in the living room in the evenings. There were tons of restaurants, grocery stores, etc nearby. We expected to take the subway, but using the FreeNow app, we just called taxis to get in to the main area and they are so cheap here. We loved that. The place is just very dated which I wasn't expecting from the pictures. The floor is torn in some areas, etc. There are minimal supplies but it was fine for us as we weren't planning on cooking. We did need to heat up a leftover pizza one night in the oven, and I couldn't find oven mitts (maybe a user error). There isn't a large supply of mugs, cups, etc so we did wash, but there was a dishwasher you could use. There was only one smallish bath towel per person and we have two tall grown sons. So overall there are enough supplies, but it's pretty minimal, but totally comfortable. I think this place is good value overall compared to other places, but if you are looking for a luxury-like experience, you will just have to pay more for it. So net net, stay here if you want a clean, comfortable place and don't want to spend a fortune.
• Felice (9/5): great place to stay, lots of room - all in all it was a great stay. we had two bathroom which was wow, two bedrooms, perfect for a family, kitchen, big fridge etc. it was downtown so a bit noisy but normal for that location, during the night i could sleep fine and i'm a light sleeper. we were very happy. the only small thing is the shower would go hot then cold and took 2 minutes to get it hot again, but i would say that's minor.

• Mary (9/5): I would definitely stay at Casa Muntaner again. - Great location, close to many good restaurants. It was always easy to catch a taxi. Lovely, spacious apartment...we enjoyed the large french doors that overlooked the city street below. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The host is very responsive. I wouldn't count on using the dryer part of the combo washer/dryer. After using the washer we couldn't figure out how to use the dryer function but there was a large drying rack available. Next trip, I would just pack more clothes.

• Brent (6/5): Great place, but needs a fair amount of maintenance work. - Great location. Not quite in the centre of action, but close enough. Lots of good restaurants near by. There are a ton of maintenance issues that need to be dealt with by the owner / management. Once these are dealt with it will be an absolutely lovely place to stay, but it over-shadowed the enjoyment of the property because every turn there was some sort of issue that needed to be addressed. Owner seems to be a super nice guy, so I hope issues are addressed and wish him success.
• Helena (10/5): Exceptional - If you are looking for a comfortable apartment with a touch of homely Barcelona touch, with a proper value for money, this is a place for you. Although we were out all day enjoying the city, coming back to the apartment each day fulfilled the charming atmosphere of our visit. Communication with the owner was very pleasant, he gave us plenty of good advices. We hope to have the opportunity to come back!

• Clare (9/5): Superb - This was a beautiful apartment. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed (2 adult and 2 older children for 5 days). We enjoyed looking out of the little balcony down to the streets below. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, including an ice-cream shop and and empanada shop downstairs. The area felt safe and wasn't too busy. It was only a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station, although we often opted to walk 15 minutes to a different metro line - we felt that this was quicker than changing lines at another stop, as you often have a long walk between platforms. We would definitely stay here again. The photo shared is the view from the balcony. Not much! Down side of being in a quieter area was that we spent quite a bit of time on the metro, but it wasn't a big deal and Barcelona is a big city - you might end up doing this anyway. The area (just down from the hospital clinic), felt more like a business area than a residential area.

This is a large 2 bedroom flat with lovely historic features. Do not hesitate to book it. It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Muntaner. The restaurant Stefano recommended (Paco Meralgo) next door was another highlight of our trip. Thank you Nothing

• Fran (10/5): Fabulous! We will be back! - Great location! Easy to walk to places. Great restaurants, markets, attractions, etc. in the neighborhood. Nice park a short walk away. Apartment was clean and well equipped. Nothing really. It was a great apartment in a great location. It's a city...there is noise...not a problem for us but if one is sensitive to that, take that into consideration. We loved the activity on the street! Watching the city wake up and go to bed.
• Esther (9/5): Roomy, well equipped apartment in a great neighborhood and toddler-approved :) - The apartment is gorgeous with original hydraulic ceramic tiles and antique finishes. Windows are noise proof and traffic noise is not a problem. The apartment is very well equipped. And it was very comfortable for our toddler too. He was fascinated by those balconies and spent a lot of time watching outside. Highly recommended. You can hear the neighbors from the master bedroom but later at night is quiet and can rest well.

It is also in a great location, closed to a number of nice restaurants and the city centre. Stephan was also a great host, very responsive and friendly. There isn't much that I didn't like about Casa Muntaner. The only thing that we missed was having toiletries in the bathroom which would have been a nice touch. But this was a minor point and we would definitely stay at Casa Muntaner again.

Wirh an elderly relative just a little far from the main attractions to walk...Public transport is close and good and obviously something I should have taken account of before booking...but for couples or young families wouldn't be an issue
