• Clare (10/5): Unforgettable! - The property was glorious. Completely surpassed expectations. Truly magnificent. Not only were the reception desk very helpful and kind, the managing agents were incredibly forgiving when I walked away with one set of keys!

• Maria Stebelsky (6/5): Gothic quarter luxury needs work! - Splendid luxury apartment offering relaxation and for two friends travelling together equal privacy. Location was superb. views wonderful while sipping wine in the stained glass alcove above the street! The antique very functional elevator was great. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and especially on our departure she went out of her way to secure a taxi when non seemed available. With attention to the details we identify, a great place to stay. We asked for and didn't get more than one cube of dishwasher soap for our 5 day stay so regrettably left almost every dish they had for the cleaning staff. We had no tea towel to do hand washing! an unnecessary discomfort in a beautiful environment The electrical outlets did not all work though required bedside lamps were plugged in there! Several bulbs were out in many rooms giving the apartment a darkness! It was already decorated in black and silver wallpaper! The first bedroom large and with its own bathroom was a great asset but floors were visibly dirty and there was a used water glass from the former occupant in the bathroom!

• Kristina (9/5): Great experience in Barcelona, close to Familia Sagrada. - The location - perfect, bed comfortable, interesting old elevator - just exceptional, the design inside of the apartment - unusual. There is everything you need for the several days stay. Women usually missing mirrors, before leaving to the city it would be nice to see the whole view of the outfit :) but it’s just a minor minus. Though also it would be nice to find several packs of tea for the evening refresher :)
• Logan (10/5): Great place for first-timers/regular visitors to see Barcelona. - The host was super friendly and accommodating. There was a problem (that was not the host's fault at all) where the water to the main building was disrupted, and he provided water in a bucket for the toilet. He provided extremely good communication to let me know when the problem would be resolved, and everything was perfect. It was fixed the next morning. For being on a busy section of Eixample, the apartment was completely quiet inside. So much attention to detail on everything, it was really lovely.

Though I understand there’s no daily cleaning, but at least give us fair enough towels if you don’t want to change them. We discussed this with the staff, and were told they can arrange a special gesture for changing our towels, yet, till the day I left, nothing happened.

• Samantha (9/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay in Barcelona! - We had a brilliant stay at this apartment in Barcelona. It’s only about 25 minutes from the airport by taxi, which made arriving really easy and stress-free. The apartment itself is decorated in a true Barça style – very chic, clean, and really comfortable. It had a great atmosphere. The location is excellent too, perfectly placed for exploring the city with plenty of shops, cafés, and attractions within easy reach. Would definitely stay here again! We had a quick 48 hour city break so we only really used the apartment to sleep and shower.

So many beautiful features, and the massive bath was wonderful, after walking miles round Barca was a welcome treat! The location is great, 20 mins walk to Sagrada and to Gothic quarter. And sitting in the lovely stained glass ‘tower’ with a night cap was great. Nothing to not like would just say there are lots of kitchen appliances but no kettle and being Brits we like tea! Pillows in the main big bedroom were very hard, small softer ones would be appreciated,

• Ann (9/5): Gorgeous apartment oozing with charm. - Beautiful old building that had so much charm! Spacious apartment that was decorated beautifully. Bed was comfortable. It’s was surprisingly very quiet with windows closed. It was conveniently located to stores and restaurants. Safe did not work. There were no directions for appliances in English or in any language. The lady that let us into apartment did not know how to use washer either. Booking.com listed this to include washer and dryer but there is no dryer available just a clothes rack. Only 2 very small towels and hand towel provided for 2 people. There was no paper products for kitchen. I would stay here again but would come more prepared.

• Rachel (4/5): Great location but disappointing tired apartment - Great location and the room being sound proof was cool Very old tired apartment, most of the furniture needs replacing, many things in the apartment need repairing and the place is generally dark. A shame there were not even basics in the kitchen like salt, pepper, oil etc. Misleading photos - we didn’t realise the 1 bedroom apartments do not have the stained glass windows.

Also - Location The Ac was 7/10 some times its good and sometimes its hot but to be fair when I stayed in it the weather was extra hot not a typical barcelona weather.

Not only an exceptional and atmospheric space in the best part of Barcelona, but also a stunning renovation and decoration. On a more practical side, also very well soundproofed and with very comfortable beds. You really feel like you're living in Barcelona rather than just visiting. It felt like an honour to be entrusted with such a beautiful place. I will definitely try to stay here next time I visit Barcelona.

Check in staff was very helpful and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Apartment is dated with quite a lot that needs to be fixed as there is quite a bit of damage. Poor quality linen and towels. Expected a bit more for the price that we paid fpr our stay.

When making the booking we saw pictures of large stained glass windows and a seemingly larger, well appointed apartment but our apartment did not look exactly like those pictures. No blanket or duvet for the bed, only sheets. The lighting was poor in parts of the apartment. Dated furniture.

• Yea (9/5): Unique experience in a spacious apartment - Beautifully furnished, in a building with loads of character and lovely stained glass window. Very spacious for family of four. Walking distance to Casa Batllo and lots of eateries. Washing machine and drying rack provided. Staff was very accommodating and allowed us to drop off luggage early on arrival day. Not all lights worked; some bulbs were out which made a dark apartment darker. Microwave had a mind of its own.
• Christopher (3/5): The apartment was dissapointing and not what we expected from the pictures. - Good location. Nice building; Friendly concierge Photos of the apartment were misleading. Most of the photos related to the much larger apartment next door. Light fittings were falling off the wall, the glass shelf in the bathroom was broken, light shades were damaged. There was no thought given to the layout with a sofa crammed in front of a bookcase for no apparent reason. We were unfortunate to be caught in the Spanish power failure. However, it is pretty stupid to have the only means of access via a keyfob system dependent on electricity. We were stuck outside the apartment for 3 hours waiting in the hall area and then had to give up and go and stay with a friend for the night. Both the concierge and the person who originally showed us into the apartment tried to help but they could not reach the hosts. They therefore knew from their phone messages afterwards that we had a problem but did not contact us or enquire as to whether we were ok. They simply sent a standard email saying they hoped we were happy with our stay and encouraged us to book directly with them next time to secure a discount.

• Darin (10/5): Beautiful stay, excellent customer service. - Maddy met us with the keys at the front of the building - check-in went very smoothly. Professional and polite and showing eagerness to ensure we have what we need, Maddy was terrific. The photos don't do the room justice; it's beautifully decorated inside, and the windows do an excellent job of keeping out the street noise from below. The balconies were perfect, the view across the block was great. All-told I would not hesitate to stay there again. Within walking distance are several Gaudi locations - it's about a 20-25 minute walk to Sagrada Familia, and a couple other places. When we arrived we uber'd around, or tried to - uber was always 20 minutes away. Instead, we started walking where we wanted to go, and within probably a block, we'd find a taxi. There were great bars nearby - yet this place is far enough away from the heavy tourist areas that we felt peaceful during prime out-and-about hours. The room features whole-house-audio; a very nice touch. The shower is huge with excellent pressure and temp. In one of the photos attached, you'll see a yellow umbrella - that is where this room is (it also uses the balcony to the right of the umbrella). The other two photos are pictures from the balcony facing the street below. I don't give out 10s very much to lodging, but the truest test was - we felt at home during our 7 day stay. There were two things to improve. Whomever stayed above us walked with heavy feet - several of the days when they woke up, we necessarily woke up because of their loud feet. That's not the fault of Suite ABCN, but an inconsiderate tenant. Secondly, the wifi was spotty - we had coverage for a couple hours a day, but at odd times and rarely when we needed it most. Instead we purchased data from our cell carrier. As an example of great customer service, Suite ABCN refunded a portion of our stay to off-set our cell data costs. That was a very classy move, and excellent customer service.

• Jacqui (10/5): Divine! - This apartment is absolutely beautiful. It is very spacious and comfortable. The window overlooking the intersection is divine and the location is close to shops, restaurants, bars etc. Some of the doors are a little squeaky and loud when opening and closing.

The stained glass conservatory is stunning and the balcony made for an amazing view of the street. Excellent location close to all local amenities including La Rambla. It was convenient and a beautiful area of the city with great shoppi - We loved the location of the property as it was very convenient to major sights, restaurants, and the metro. We also loved the location because it was not in a really touristy area. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

I repeatedly asked for a coffee maker that worked, but no response. The Nespresso machine took 4-5 times to pull 1 shot. But most importantly, I gave the “security” deposit on my credit card explicitly because he said it would be returned with 24-48 hours. I followed up with them 4 DAYS after my stay, they blame the bank, they blame other things,but still no release on the security hold on my card. Now, 2 weeks later and still nothing.
• Maia (1/5): Learn from your reviews and try hiring professional management - Location and the architecture The service mainly was very unprofessional. On arrival there was no bottled water offered, the host just told us to drink tap water. We stayed in other location night before and received 3 snack packs, three waters etc. Shampoo also felt like a dishwashing soap. There was mold in the bathroom. We were not told prior about 250€ deposit, host said it will be released the day after check out and it was not even two days after now host wrote me it will two weeks. Very sad to have such bad service. Our door in the bathroom shut and broke so that we were not able to access our basic things until the lunchtime next day so lost half of the day due to this issue. Thank god none of us stuck inside as we would of have panic attack. Apartment was very noisy we could hear someone making tea in the apartment next door. None of us slept for two days. When we asked 30 min late check out to cover this all we were told that cleaning stuff has a schedule and it is not possible. Probably the worst experience over the 5 years of traveling

The people who clean and work in the building are gracious and helpful. Couples only. Not for families. Gorgeous neighbourhood. Ambiance comes at the cost of other things: lighting is very dim.Very. Person upstairs stomps around a lot. Things need dusting, screws need tightening. You need salt, pepper, soap etc, only a tiny amount supplied. And yet, I would stay again. Magical.

The shower head/bidet had mould all over it. They did not communicate when I requested for a proof that the deposit has been returned. Dodgy. Avoid.

'A' met us promptly at the front door, told us all we needed to know including the best local grocery store. He was very helpful! Be aware that the bedroom will be have traffic noise as this is central Barcelona. I didn't mind this too much as it comes with the territory. On the plus side you are in the heart of an exciting city.

The location was super, close to main routes, restaurants etc. The architecture was truly amazing with outstanding mouldings and tile work. Elevator was a jewel from another time. Only negative comment: en suite bathroom shower didn’t drain well and almost overflowed.

We absolutely loved our stay. Stunning architecture, a beautiful interior and in a great location where we were able to walk everywhere. Next time we come to Barcelona would love to stay again. We were happy with everything - I saw the previous reviews that people thought it was a little dark, however this is the style. You are booking an apartment with a lot of character.

Bed pillows were very firm and no other option provided. The property manager was NOT responsive to needs requested. That was very disappointing.
• Peter (7/5): Wouldn’t stay again - We liked that it was different from most apartments we have stayed in We feel it was overpriced for what it was. We were charged extra$ for checking in late and that was NOT noted anywhere! We feel that tourists in Barcelona are taken advantage off. Such a shame that the city has changed that way. Or tv wasn’t working for two days… we reported it in the first day and were left with batteries and the owner said it in good working order?!? Eventually a lovely young girl came to help and found that it was a fuse?!? Curtains where off rings and it didn’t feel like we gout what was advertised.
• Tania (8/5): Very good - The apartment was very stylish and comfortable with almost everything we needed. Interesting decor and pieces of art. Particularly loved the stained glass windows and the seating area in front of them. Te apartment was quite dark. The en suite bathroom had a leak when it rained whic flooded the floor. There was a smell in the fridge/cupboard next to it. Towels were small. Eventually found the fourth dining chair outside the twin bedroom!
• Emily (9/5): Beautiful apartment in amazing location - Amazing apartment in a fantastic location. Very helpful check in and everything you need is in the apartment. It was very secure too and huge! Shelf needed in the - enormous! - shower, that's it!
• Melissa (7/5): Good - The building was stunning and in a great location There was no basic supplies in the kitchen - this is only mentioned as other places I have stayed in the same price range have provided this.

• Alessandra (10/5): Barcelona with family (2 kids) - The apartment is even more beautiful than in the pictures, very big and comfortable. The area is close to city center but more "residential" than touristic, very safe and clean. There are nice bars, restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. We had one dinner in the apartment, and the kitchen was well equipped. A few coffee pods more would be nice.. There are no cleaning tools (broom, sweeper, etc)
• Kirsty (9/5): Superb - The apartment is in an excellent location with lovely cafes and shops around it. It is easy walking distance to the Sagrada Familia and Gaudi's houses. It is spacious and beautiful. It would be good to have teabags and milk for when you arrive...

• Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - This property was a stand out for a group of 4 travelers. It’s spacious with plenty of room along with being in a central location. Alex was a pleasure to deal with, which made a stay very easy. It is a bit dimly lit but you expect that for the age of the property.
• Jessie (9/5): Superb - Wonderful location, very easy to walk or catch the bus or train wherever you need to get to in Barcelona. Busy area, but the apartment was very sound-proof, with great dark blinds for sleeping in (or having a siesta!) An extremely quaint 1904 elevator carried us up to the apartment, and the space itself was large, well-equipped, and clean.
• Fran (8/5): We would return if we could stay in tye apartment with the stained glass bay windows - The location was great The kitchen wasn’t big enough. All the television programs were in Spanish - no English speaking - not even news. Even my Netflix had subtitles!
