• Lenka (7/5): - Velký, čistý, dobře a moderně vybavený apartmán. Skvělá dostupnost - moře a autobus do dvou minut, stanice metra o kousíček dál. V okolí spousta obchodů a restaurací. Dobrá komunikace s ubytováním před příjezdem v anglickém jazyce. Po příjezdu na nás čekala v ubytování již paní, která bohužel uměla jen asi rusky. Byla příjemná a pomocí překladače jsme se na základních věcech domluvili. Přebrala si domluvenou kauci a místní poplatky. Kauce nám byla bez problému vrácena. HLUK - Apartmán se nachází přímo u rušné silnice. Hlavně z projíždějících vozidel se skrz prosklenou část apartmánu dostává hluk dovnitř a nese se i do ostatních místností apartmánu. Prosklená část se nedá nijak odhlučnit ani nijak zatemnit, takže do společných prostor, kde je mimo jiné i rozkládací pohovka určená pro spaní při obsazenosti apartmánu více jak čtyřmi osobami, proniká hlavně v noci světlo a hluk z ulice. Kamery - v apartmánu se nachází min. dvě kamery v PIR čidlech. Jedna z kamer je nasměrována přímo na vchodové dveře, to bych ještě pochopil, ale druhá míří přímo do společných prostor apartmánu, kde je mimo jiné umístěna i rozkládací pohovka na spaní. Jestli byly funkční nebo ne - nevím, ale není to moc příjemné.

• Maciej (9/5): Blisko morza - Duże, dobrze wyposażone mieszkanie. W sypialini rolety zewnętrzne. Czysto. Blisko morza. W pobliżu centrum handlowe z supermarketem i stacja metra. Spora kaucja i ograniczone godziny rozlicznia się (pani "ma inną pracę"). Dość mały boiler z ciepłą wodą.

• Minh Tuan (9/5): A comfortable, well-located stay held back only by the very slow Wi-Fi. - Great location and a nice, comfortable apartment. Everything was clean and as described, with a cozy layout that made it easy to relax. The internet connection was very slow—felt like 3G—so video calls and streaming were difficult. An upgrade to the Wi-Fi speed (and possibly the router) would greatly improve the experience.
• Anastassija (10/5): - The apartment was very clean and well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, which was very convenient. The location is excellent – just a short walk to the sea. The neighborhood felt safe, with a supermarket, metro, and bus stops all within easy walking distance. It was also very easy to get to the center of Barcelona by public transport. The staff were very friendly and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
• Agnieszka (10/5): Staying in this apartment was a great experience! - I highly recommend staying at Comtal Homey Apartments. The apartment was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a washing machine, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, and even a beach umbrella. The apartment features two bedrooms, a large living room with a kitchen, and a spacious balcony with a sea view. The beach is just a one-minute walk away. The surrounding area offers plenty of great restaurants, shops, bus stops, and bars, all within walking distance. Communication with the hosts was flawless—prompt, clear, and flexible to the guest’s needs. I’m especially grateful for the option of early check-in, which allowed us to follow our sightseeing schedule in Barcelona without having to return to the apartment at 2:00 PM just to collect the keys. Ms. Oksana, who manages the apartment, is a lovely, kind, smiling, and easy-going person. She stayed in regular contact with me throughout our stay, which made everything even more comfortable. One minor aspect to consider: the security deposit process. Perhaps it could be authorized via card, so guests wouldn’t need to return to the apartment at a specific time to collect the deposit in person. In our case, Ms. Oksana had to make a special trip late in the evening to return it to us. Aside from that, everything was absolutely perfect—10 out of 10. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Barcelona. Everything was perfect !!! - I have no complaints :-)

• Stephane (9/5): Appartement spacieux près de la plage et port Olympique avec parking - Très bien situé près de la plage Nova Icària Beach et du port Olympique. Appartement spacieux relativement neuf, moderne, avec 2 chambres et un salon/salle à manger/cuisine et balcon. Parking souterrain clos à disposition pouvant accueillir un véhicule long. Flexibilité sur l'arrivée et le départ. Une chambre est sans fenêtre et la climatisation n'est présente que dans la pièce principale salon/salle à manger. Pas d'ascenseur et l'accès au parking se fait en contournant le bâtiment. Pas de volets pour l'espace salon/salle à manger/cuisine.

• Guerra (6/5): Not recommendable/Will not stay again - location in front of the beach Be careful.. only positives reviews for this apt are coming from Poland and the guest said to be the manager is Polish. On my arrival i found the manager cleaning the flat, cigarrettes debris all over the place, he asked me to delay 2 hours my check in to complete the cleaning, the flat condition was really disgusting. After the cleaning the wifi didnt work, and the mannager make some call smoking in the apt to fix the issue.

• Orcun (5/5): Deposit Chaos and Second Bed Disappointment... - BEFORE CHECK IN: (+) Michael, said to be the manager of the property, waited for us outside to meet and let us enter the parking area. He was prompt in answering the questions before check in. FLAT & EQUIPMENT: (+) Flat is well and quality equipped for families with children; including highchair, wc adaptor etc. (+) Balcony is wide and comfy (+) Parking place is wide, easy to park. CHECK-IN AND DEPOSIT CHAOS: (-) We were communicated that the property was asking for 300€ and city tax around 50€ in cash. Our check in was at around 20:00 in the evening. We submitted Michael a 500 € banknote for payment of both items. However he did not have any cash for change and strangely he acted like we were insane; he clearly said that we as guests should have been prepared for exact amount cash payment. We also had 200€; so we offered to give him 200€ directly and to give remaining 100€ next day; he threaned us not giving the keys instead of finding a quickfix for change. His attitude changed totally upon this discussion. So did ours.This was rude. We were practical enought to go to the nearest super market, make some shopping and manage to pay the "exact amount" to Michael. Was not a warm welcome to the gifts who you could not pay back the change! SECOND BED DISAPPOINTMENT: (-) The bed in the second room is not a mattress. It is just a thick but distorted sponge mat which is totally uncomfortable. The reason whe picked this flat was to have our 5 years old sleep in the second bed but even she could not tolerate it. So we (all 3 of us) slept in the double bed; one of the parents traveling to the couch in the living room during the nights. However the living room does not have shutter / jaluize; so it is not an easy sleep at the couch as well. PARKING KEYS: (-) Although we asked, we were not given the keys for the door that access parking area. When the door is closed, it is not possible to enter, which we experienced many times with stroller in our hands. Had to walk all way around teh block and building to enter the parking area. The host should find those keys and include to flat's key set. STREET NOISE: (-) Very busy location with traffic noice during the day and night.

• Yulia (10/5): Great apartment - Apartment was very clean. Location is great as well. Close to the beach, city tour bus stop and metro station. Many restaurants and supermarkets are close by. Manager brought keys in time and was very helpful. Water heater doesn't have enough hot water for 5 people to take shower. Had to wait for heater to heat up after 3 people were done. Would be good to know about it ahead. Glass doors to the balcony don't shut well and have a gap so we could feel the fresh winter draft) coming through the living room.

• Madalina (9/5): Beautiful apartment - the apartment is very beautiful and nice decorated. everything is carefully chosen and everything is of quality. few times it has happened to us that we find so many useful things at an accommodation. washing machine with detergent and conditioner, iron, toilet adapter for the child and step, small chair and table for the child, table chair for the child and cot. regarding the apartment, I really have nothing to object to, the apartment is exactly as in the pictures. everything was superlative. Very close to the beach and a playground. the stairs up to the apartment are quite difficult.the traffic in front of the apartment is a little noisy. In the second bedroom there is a little window through the hallway and living room , so take into consideration you will need to cover the window in order not to see the lights.
• Oleksandra (6/5): Good location, well equipped but with significant drawbacks - 1. The apartment complex has very good beach access. 2. The apartment is well equipped. 1. The second bedroom does not have a window and is therefore very stuffy (not described in the ad). 2. Not ideal for families with strollers, there are three steep staircases leading to the apartment and no elevator. 3. The checkout is at 11 and there is no room to leave the luggage after 2pm as would otherwise be possible in a hotel. 4. We needed to leave a security deposit in cash of EUR 300 when we arrived. 5. Can be a deal breaker for some visitors: the apartment is located on a busy highway with lots of traffic during almost all times of the day.
• Tudor (5/5): A week of nightmare - The location initially seemed alright I was really happy to book there, no matter the price. I even accepted paying a 300 eur deposit and they charge a 60 eur fee in case you check in over 10 pm, but I arrived around 9 and it was alright. We were family and friends but I had to insist so they can give me a second key. Apparently everything was alright but the shower was flooding and water went all over the house from the bathroom. I had to clean using all the towels around, I thought that maybe the water went out of the shower, but the second day it happened the same, which was very annoying, a couple hours later the water didn't work at all. So we were there 5 people for 3 days without water or the possibility to flush the toilet or wash our dishes or wash our hands. The guy who the owner said is their manager, wasn't really helpful at all and he was even rude and hang up the phone on me. We were patient but at some point we realised that it didn't feel pretty at all being with no water. We had to buy water from the grocery store having to carry heavy bottles or use toilet in the bars around the location. I told her about her manager's behavior and her excuse was that they have many apartments and he is very busy. (I didn't understand why she didn't send us to another place instead if that was the case, but who knows maybe they were all booked).The host also made it really clear and she even accused me that I broke their water. Also she insisted on me on the phone that I meet the water system people to show up there so they can check the problem. They said it's a problem with their pipes and even the neighbors confirmed they had this problem before, even if they said they never did.They also had unclog solution almost empty under the sink, proof that it was almost all used and they had that. I didn't feel respected or felt that our needs are being met having in count the amount we have paid for that place for a week. On the fifth day we agreed after I contacted Booking.com, that they will move us to another place, they even sent us the details for a new place, and a refund of 1000 eur, which I have received approx. 921 eur on Paypal. Before meeting that day, where we agreed that we will talk about a meeting hour, she never called so we can decide on a time and she called the minute, her other "manager" (She initially said she only has one person that manages their many apartments), was really rude to my friend who was there. We decided to meet earlier, on the time she wanted, because she said she leaves outside Barcelona, so we left our tour on Guell Park, the sooner we got there, because she insisted to come now so she can take our keys, and so we can get our 300 eur cash deposit. When we left they were all outside giving us weird looks, and then we were all with our luggages close to the place on the beach, finding out that the place Booking.com "booked" for us, was just a suggestion that we had to pay. I never understood why he told me on the phone they will get a new place for us. They told me they will transfer me to someone who will listen to me but when they transfered me they hang up on me. I have asked for a full refund after being treated the way we did, by the host and by Booking, but they refused. The host also made it really clear and she even accused me that I broke their water. We finally booked and paid ourselves a place on Airbnb which was so simple but magical being able to use the water again.
• Nora (10/5): Exceptional - The location of apartment is excellent! Perfect beach is just in 150m. It took about only 25 minutes to reach Barcelona’s downtown. Apartment is really cosy and comfortable, we found all needed inventory, kitchen is well equipped. Manager Michael is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our staying very well.
• Tomasz (10/5): fantastic 10 day holiday for family of four - when we are back to BCN that will be the first apartment I will check for - clean well equipped apartment (kitchen, washing machine) with effective air con location - superb - one stone throw from beach, close to deli (Consum worthy recommending - prices low, wide selection of brands, bakery, fresh fruits / veggies / seafood, vines/cavas/beer also 0% and vegetarian options…); location - good public transport network nearby; comfortable / air conditioned - especially important during scorching heat wave like during our stay (mid July 2023) quiet - good noise protection from street outside - air con with quiet setting; quiet neighbourhood (at least during our stay) not a dislike in itself - just - sort of second floor (away from dust and noise is an advantage by itself) with no lift (only slightly problematic while handling heavy suitcases while moving in and out) something to be considered by wheelchair bound
• Natasha (9/5): Would highly recommended, lovely area, easy to navigate, very clean, very nice apartment. - Location was brilliant for the beach, local bus connections and tour bus. Very close to a large supermarket as well as smaller ones. Apartment well equipped for us - 2 adults and 2 children under 5 years - and very clean. Lots of storage and ac effective on the very hot days. 300 euro deposit in cash - especially as euros are not our home currency so then now we have lots of euros and a terrible exchange rate to change back. But apartment, owner, Michael who showed us/welcomed us were all great!!

Clean and comfortable apartment. But above all, Michael is our hero. We accidentally left some of our money at the apartment and Michael took an Uber to the airport to deliver it to us before our flight left. He saved our trip! Thank you Michael!
