• Matthew (9/5): - Location was great. 100m walk from the beach. Good amenities in the apartment as well. Short walk from town. Private. Cafe’s and restaurants close by. The equipment provided wasn’t in the greatest shape, the bicycles definitely need servicing.

Thanks. - Great Location / nice neat unit / really liked that the extra touches that were there - a rain brolly (not needed but there if we did), the beach brolly, the bikes (we couldn't work out the bike lock(s) but if we needed we would have rang -so all good), the boards, the coffee machine etc ..... walk to town and a literal jump to the beach and coffee shop. Not so much a dislike but a heads up that on site parking is a must in Byron (and is available at the unit for free) but you won't be able to fit a big car in. That could mean paid parking elsewhere unless you get lucky like we did close by.

• Georgia (10/5): 7 days of pure bliss, only a short stroll to the beach. - I loved how clean it was with modern/coastal furnishings. It had everything we needed for our stay. Plus the bikes and the beach umbrellas definitely were a bonus! Nothing !

Sliding bedroom door lock was very old and wouldn't latch which meant we could not lock up the apartment. Dishes were dirty. Place was a little tired.

The apartment exceeded expectations, was actually larger than the photos and was extremely well equipped with everything you could think of including beach towels, umbrella, toiletries, plenty of towels, cooking equipment, BBQ etc. Outdoor balcony was beautiful and is around all sides, so very spacious. Place was super clean, ideal location - just at start of the lighthouse walk and very short walk to beach across the road. Close enough to walk to shops and central areas, although quiet at night and beautiful area. Loved our visit to Byron Bay and very much hope to book this spot again. Nothing at all - it was amazing!

• Alan (9/5): We had a great time; the town and surrounding area is fabulous and the whales are a delight to watch - This is our third visit to Franche Brise a la Mer and we like it a lot. The location is superb. It is ten minutes walk from Bryon Bay centre and just a few minutes from the beach. It is quiet but not isolated. Wi-Fi is good. The bed is extremely comfortable. The balcony is the icing on the cake. The host is lovely and we met her on the last day. Nothing, really.

• Jane (8/5): Peaceful with walking access to everything. - Good verandah to catch afternoon winter sun. Beach was across the road I could hear it at night. Nice and quiet. Well equipped with tea, coffee and coffee machine, towels and toilet rolls.
• Rajeev (7/5): Expensive room charges for the location. - Location at the back of the complex. The kettle needs changing , tea bags are old & left open, told to carry toilet paper for a 3 night stay which was quite surprising.

A full reccy of kitchen implements too, there was a random selection of things with no tongs, which seemed odd.

Property was kept really clean and tidy, and had all the resources and appliances you could need. Met owner on our departure who couldn’t have been more lovely! We would definitely stay here again! • Louise (10/5): We had a beautiful 3 night stay, and loved every minute of it. - It was just over the road from a beautiful beach, and down the road from the lighthouse. It was a tastefully decorated one bedroom unit with laundry, and lovely balcony with barbecue, plus push bikes and soft boards available for use in the garage as well as board games to play . We were really impressed. It only had a bar fridge even though it was a full kitchen (but I don’t know where they could fit a full sized fridge). Plus the garage only fits a small car, but we always found free parking in the small street accessing our apartment.

• Meredith (10/5): Amazing Stay in Byron Bay - This was the most perfect apartment. The description doesn't do it justice! Location is fantastic, beach 5 minutes walk, as well as at the start of the lighthouse trail. TopShop (best coffee) is at the top of the street. The apartment is in a quiet block with so many nice extras. I've never slept in a more comfortable bed! The owners also leave bikes and various surf/body boards free to use. If we come back to Byron we will only stay here! Nothing not to like!
