• Jorma (9/5): Todella siisti ja hyvin varusteltu asunto! - Asunnosta löytyi niin astian- kuin pyykinpesuaineet eikä kylpyhuoneestakaan puuttunut mitään. Ihana tervetuliaispaketti odotti myös keittiön pöydällä :) Ympäristö oli erittäin rauhallinen, ja asunto oli hyvien julkisten liikenneyhteyksien varrella.
• Erwin (10/5): - Wir haben uns in dieser wunderschön und mit viel Liebe eingerichteten Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeberin war herzlich und hat uns mit super Tipps für Amsterdam versorgt - das hat unseren Aufenthalt richtig bereichert. Die Lage ist zwar nicht im Zentrum, aber dank zwei Straßenbahnlinien direkt um die Ecke ist man schnell überall - auch Ausflüge ans Meer sind problemlos mit Bahn und Bus machbar. Der Rembrandtpark liegt quasi vor der Haustür, und auch der Vondelpark ist fußläufig erreichbar. Von dort kann man einen wunderschönen Spaziergang zum Rijksmuseum oder zum Van Gogh Museum machen. Die Wohnung liegt absolut ruhig, was sehr angenehm war. Unsere 16-jährige Tochter hat auf dem Bett im Wohnzimmer übrigens prima geschlafen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Einen Hinweis möchten wir Reisenden mitgeben: Der Treppenaufgang ist recht eng und steil. Wer nicht so gut zu Fuß ist, sollte das vorher einplanen.

• Ivan (10/5): - At the last minute, we booked and ended up getting the best apartment in Amsterdam. First of all, it’s located in a beautiful part of the city—calm, and exactly what you need after long walks, parties, and everything Amsterdam has to offer. The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms, a kitchen equipped down to the smallest detail, and the best part—a balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard. It’s the kind of place where you really get a sense of how locals live, their habits, where they shop, and where they go for their morning coffee. There’s a park just 50 meters away, perfect for relaxing and spending time with friends. And what truly makes this place special is the host, Ester. She welcomed us warmly, but without ever being intrusive—offering great tips about the city, checking if we had everything we needed for breakfast, and leaving small, thoughtful gifts so that after a late flight we didn’t have to rush out to the store or go to bed hungry. It was my first time in Amsterdam, and I wouldn’t change this experience for anything. I feel like I’ve found a place I’ll keep coming back to every time I visit the city. I’m writing this a bit reluctantly—because some great places you kind of want to keep to yourself—but honestly, everyone deserves to meet Ester and experience her beautiful home on the second floor of a red brick building, right next to Rembrandt Park.
• mark (10/5): Ik kan niet anders zeggen dat ik per ongeluk een veeleisende gast ben geweest. Ester heeft mij als gast behandeld maar h - Uiterst goed verzorgd, alles aanwezig en warm ontvangst en verblijf. Alles prima, zelfs parkeren en laden voor de deur. Met de lader van de eigenaar 👊🏻😃
• N (10/5): Extremely good. Highy recommend it - It was such an immaculate place. Elegantly designed, cosy, extremely high quality linens, bath products and equipments used in the house. Loved the attention to detail and how Ester has made it elegant and designed it so well. Ambient lighting of the house. Exactly as shown in pics It is located close to two tram stops and is right next to the Rembrandt park. Quiet house and we slept very peacefully. If you r looking to be in city centre, then u need to take tram to get there. Ester is a wonderful person and she was quite responsive to everything. Placed a bottle of wine, chocolates and small delights for us. Highly recommend this place for its peace, facilities, cleanliness and a warm host. Nothing

• Susanne (10/5): Die sehr schöne Wohnung ist äusserst praktisch eingerichtet, ist ruhig gelegen und bietet viel Platz. Ester ist die perf - Ester, die Gastgeberin hat unseren Aufenthalt in Amsterdam sehr positiv geprägt. Sie gab uns gute Tipps und es war ihr wichtig, dass wir alles hatten.

Easily accessible by tram or bus, quick run into the city centre which you can also walk. Everything we needed in the apartment for an 8 day stay. Good selection of groceries / cafes at your door. Ester was very forthcoming with tips and advice. We would return. Steep stairs for access may not suit all.

Super clean, really cozy, and decorated in a way that made it feel super welcoming and there were lots of little touches that made the stay even better, like fresh towels, good lighting, and fast Wi-Fi. It’s in a great location too, easy to get around and super quiet at night. The host was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed without being overbearing. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Would 100% stay here again!

• Dean (10/5): Modern, clean and well equipped retreat on the edge of Rembrandt Park in the West - The host, Ester was wonderful in every regard. She communicated well and was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. We required some flexibility both during check-in and check-out which she gladly provided and that made dealing with our luggage significantly easier. She was also very helpful in providing suggestions on places to visit and things to do. The apartment itself was very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had blockout curtains making it easy to sleep in if you needed some extra rest. The stay in general was very quiet and relaxing with only the occasional bit of noise from an ambulance siren in the distance. The kitchen was well equipped making it easy to cook basic meals or prepare a delicious hot beverage. Several unexpected welcome extras were included like delicious snacks from a local store, a bottle of wine and there were plenty of Nespresso pods. The bathroom was modern, with a nice double basin and large mirror with good lighting. There were also nice towels, blankets and robes provided making sure you'd be comfortable at all times. Given I was visiting Amsterdam to participate in the annual marathon I really appreciated that we were a stone's throw from Rembrandt park. In fact, the apartment is ideally located in such a way that it's easy to run a route that traverses both through Rembrandt and Vondel parks which are both quite lovely. We didn't hire a car and decided to explore the city mostly by foot or on bicycle. The apartment is a short walk (~250m) from several stores and coffee shops making it easy to purchase all groceries you may need or a snack on the go.

The location is perfect, situated in a quiet yet central area that made exploring the city easy and enjoyable. The house itself is cozy, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Ester was an excellent host, always responsive and attentive, making sure I felt right at home. The space had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the little personal touches made it feel extra special. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future!

• Sabine (9/5): This is the kind of place you will want to come back to! - A beautiful flat, very tastefully decorated with lots of attention to detail and providing everything you might need. The host, Ester, clearly wants you to feel at home: there were fresh flowers and chocolates, and she greeted us personally and had lots of tips for things to do. The flat is in a quiet part of the city, close to a lovely park, but within quick and easy reach of the city centre.

Perfect for a couple or two friends wanting to spend a few days in Amsterdam. But the true highlight is host Ester, who besides creating a magical, beautifully decorated space and adding many nice little hospitality touches (such as Stella Marais shower gel and shampoo, and an array of delicious snacks), simply is a wonderful human and fantastic host! Easy access to city centre. Highly recommend this place - felt just like hoen! The balcony with view over Amsterdam’s gardens and many cats is a lovely bonus. Nothing at all
• Stefan (10/5): Simply superb in every respect! - Location quite central, yet super quiet. Tram lines (the 13 for example directly into the Centre) within walking distance in a few minutes. Discounters, bakeries, restaurants etc. are just as easy to reach in a few minutes. Ester, the landlady, is great! Very helpful, very friendly and super flexible. And Ester also helped us personally immediately and straightforwardly out of a predicament (problems with other accommodation)... The relaxation and recuperation came immediately when we checked in with her. Thank you very much, Ester!

The apartment is located in a quiet zone so I did not hear any noise during the night. The host is kind and very careful to the guests needs. The owners live in the building and were available for advice and information. The apartment was very modern, excellently equipped, clean and warm. The host provided local snacks and a bottle of wine as a gift on our arrival, which was a very nice touch. The area is a tram ride out of town (10-minutes), so the area is residential and quiet, but serviced with good shops, bars and restaurants. Nothing negative to say, all was super.

We are non smokers but it’s good to know that the whole apartment is a non smoking area. The balcony as well!
