• OCVD (8/5): Appartement confortable et très bien situé. - L'emplacement dans l'hyper centre, la vue sur le canal et les maisons typiques, la propreté, le confort de la literie, la communication avec le propriétaire très gentil et disponible. Rien, si ce n'est les escaliers raides pour accéder à l'appartement. Il faut le savoir pour les personnes à mobilité relative. Il s'agit d'un bâtiment historique qui a ses exigences.
• 1977Matteo1977 (9/5): - Bellissimo appartamento proprio a ridosso del flower market. Adatto a 4 persone. Vista bellissima dal salotto dove è posizionato il divano letto. Le scale di accesso sono assurde ma è così per la maggior parte delle abitazioni in Amsterdam. Prezzo esagerato per noi italiani ma rispetto alla media di Amsterdam più che accettabile

• Anne (10/5): Lovely, welcoming, clean, bright! - Perfect and Central location. Lovely, clean and large space with view of flower market and canal. Host was responsive and interested in helping in any way possible to make our stay the best it could be. Lived every minute and will be back!
• Emily (9/5): Great location, would be happy to stay again. - Great location and a lovely view from the flat of the Singel canal. It was easy to communicate with the owner, who was helpful and friendly. We found it to be quiet at night with no noise coming from the street below. It's located just behind a street with plenty of restaurants and bars and a great vibe so you don't have to go far in the evening if you don't want to. Also very close to Koningsplein tram stop. The stairs inside are steep but this was not a problem for us, it might be harder with very large items of luggage. Everything was fine.

• Adele (10/5): Great hosts and an amazing stay in a fantastic location! - We arranged to get collected and dropped off at the airport and communication was great. The host Gabriele was amazing. Super friendly and really helpful. Despite being early we were able to leave our bags so we didn’t have to carry them around before checking in and the same when leaving. The apartment was lovely and in a great location. We loved sitting people watching at the window when we were there. We would definitely recommend eating at the secret garden, the food was unreal and the restaurant is beautiful. Overall a fantastic weekend and we would 100% stay here again! Nothing, it was fantastic!

L’annonce prévoyait des peignoirs et des produits de toilette,il n’y avait rien de tout ça. Les escaliers sont très raides.

Traveling with 2 small kids is not easy, but this apartment is perfect and I strongly recommend for any type of traveler. The host was very nice providing us with a warm welcome and helping us with all the details at the time of arrival. He made us feel at home away from home, and we had a great experience. • Edeler (7/5): - Die perfekte zentrale Lage, die super Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer aus. Unten im Treppenhaus roch es extrem nach Abwasser leider, die Einrichtung wies ein paar Beschädigungen auf, wie kaputter Toilettendeckel und ein abgedeckt Herd, der durch eine einzelne elektrische Herdplatte ersetzt wurde. Alles in allem ist die Wohnung schön und wie gesagt die Lage ist perfekt. Der Vermieter war auch super freundlich und bot uns sogar an die Koffer hoch zutragen.

• Eleftherios (9/5): Superb - Excellent location and view. Very nice accommodation and hospitality. The apartment is " Room in Amsterdam" for those who can understand. Watch out the stairs. Of course, you get used to them easily.

The Wi‑Fi was so unreliable that I couldn’t really use it and had to rely on mobile data instead. A small enhancement could be placing a mirror on the wall, perhaps opposite the kitchen, as a nice addition.

• David (9/5): Great apartment in Amsterdam. - The apartment was very clean and in an excellent location. It's close to so many things but it's still quiet at night. The hosts responded to questions immediately and were friendly and on time when we arrived. The only thing that we didn't like were the stairs. If you've been to Amsterdam you probably already know about stairs there...they are very steep and not very deep. Again, this is apparently common there.

Just be aware that you need to climb 3 flights of steep stairs. We needed help with bags getting in and out. The wifi was intermittent.

Clean throughout The stairs are very steep - it says this in the property description but did not expect how steep they will be. After a whole day of walking around and sightseeing - its not so easy to climb up those stairs.

• Caroline (9/5): Great location - Communication with the host was excellent and they were very responsive. The location of the apartment is perfect for walking around the city or taking the tram. Apartment is a good size considering the heritage listed building, with comfortable beds, good heating and modern bathroom facilities. Close to a supermarket and many shops. The view over the flower markets and canal is lovely; you can sit in the window seat and watch all the hustle and bustle below. The narrow staircase was quite scary for moving our big suitcases, as many others have mentioned. The listing mentions a kitchenette and stovetop but this is inaccurate. There is a coffee machine, toaster, kettle and fridge, but you cannot cook anything due to regulations. So just be aware that self catering is limited.
• Natalya (8/5): Great location. But the apartment is really tiny dorm room. - Location is excellent within walking distance to many attractions. Host was very nice and helpful. The steps are steep and narrow and a bit scary. I was expecting to stay at least at the 2nd or 3rd floor (according to the images and description of the property), but not under the roof with tiny windows. Very inconvenient with little kids.

I don't recommend the accomodation for a family, but it is great for a city trip with friends or as a couple. No parking space near the accomodation. A lot of noise during the night from the other apartment in the house.

Tea and coffee and other cooking ingredients available like oil, salt pepper etc. Perfect location, very central to everything and even though the apartment is on a busy street, no noise woke us up or disturbed us. The stairs are very steep and there is a lot of them but we knew this before booking so wasn’t a problem.
