Guest Reviews
- Mark (8/5): - Great location, good value for money. Neven (owner) was very welcoming.

- Denice (9/5): TOP!
- Donna0527 (10/5): Comfortable stay near Old Town - The apartment was clean, spacious, and located in a quiet area just a short walk from Dubrovnik’s Old Town. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was smooth. The host gave us a warm welcome with complimentary drinks and a helpful introduction to the area, which was a really nice touch! The air conditioning worked well, which was much appreciated during the hot June days. Comfortable bed and cozy atmosphere overall.
The apartment is up a hill, so it may be a bit challenging for people with mobility issues. But it’s manageable and the peaceful location makes it worth it!
- Bonje (9/5): Superb - Very friendly host! Enthusiastic about Dubrovnik which he shared with us with great hospitality! Great location - a beautiful view from the terrace, supermarket and bakery 1 minute away, and the old town a 10 minute walk away. Room is comfy and the bathroom was clean and tidy. We loved our stay!
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Tanya (10/5): Excellent would stay again - The location is fantastic. Close to old town and harbour and many restaurants The terrace upstairs is beautiful. It had panoramic views of Dubrovnik. Neven the host was very helpful and friendly and gave me a welcome wine
- Knarik (10/5): Great stay, great price and amazing memories! - Very close to everything you need: Main Street with a handy supermarket and a delicious pizza place, 5 minutes from the old town. The room was small but very functional, had all you need and was carefully prepared for guests. The house had a terrace overlooking the fort and the old town, the see, amazing view and an amazing way to have a relaxing evening after a busy travel. The host was just great! Welcomed us with a drink, lots of important info and a glimpse of Dubrovnik history. It was nothing fancy, simple and comfortable, great for 2-3 days.
- Boran (8/5): Very good -
- Cea (9/5): Most amazing view over Dubrovnik and Adriatic - Huge terras (at least 4 x 8 m) with sun loungers tabel and chairs with the most amazing via over Dubrovnik fort and a large part of the Walled town of Dubrovnik.
Within 50m walk a bakery with every morning fresh pastries, croissants etc.
- Steven (10/5): Lovely welcoming home, located close to Old Town - Neven is a fantastic host, and made our trip to Dubrovnik so special. His knowledge and enthusiasm to share Croatia's history is truly wonderful, and gave us a deeper appreciation for this beautiful part of the world.
The room is also excellent, located so close to Old Town and providing a cosy base to explore from.
- Aniol (9/5): Superb - Neven is really friendly with their guests and they receive you with some wine or beers. He also explains to you a bit of the Dubrovnik history from their magnificent terrace. Also he made a small welcome book that is quite interesting to read where there are good recommendations and explains the philosophy of the room apartment
The private parking spot is perfect, close to the apartment and easy to find. Definitely if you visit Dubrovnik by car, this is your room. Moreover you only need 10 minutes of food to arrive at the west gate of the old city of Dubrovnik. There wasn't shampoo and shower gel.
- Suzanna (10/5): Exceptional - Location was brilliant, Neven helped as with parking, what was very kind from him, as there is a huge problem with parking in the area. Garden and terrace were nice, clean and relaxing. I would recommend the place to everyone.
- Boran (9/5): Superb - Loved the location, views, atmosphere and relaxed and informative way Neven helped with the rental. For me it was exactly what I was looking for, no fuss, exactly what I needed and a real look into Croatian life. Neven was exceptionally helpful and I loved the whole vibe of the Area. Were steps but then other way of walking back if tired
without steps, on footpath so nothing for me.
- Janet (10/5): An amazing place to stay. Neven was super friendly and kind. -
- Ralph (9/5): Superb - Location and the view. The Host(Neven) was very attentive to your needs. He even gave us a drink which was very soothings after travelling with the hot weather. Neven was very knowledgeable about the history of Dubrovnik and always willing to share his knowledge. Lovely garden and he even let us pick some fruits from his plant tree.
- Harris-deans (8/5): Nevan was a very friendly and knowledgeable host, who gave us lots of information about the area. The location of the ro - Location was fabulous & the view from the terrace was lovely.
- Petra (10/5): Close to the old town, parking spot, great value for money - The location of the room was amazing, 5 minutes walking to the old town of Dubrovnik.. We could also park the car as part of the accommodation which was absolutely great. The room was clean, it had everything we needed. The host greeted us upon our arrival, gave us some welcomed information about the city, recommended sights to see.
Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Dubrovnik in the future and we would love to come back if we come visit Dubrovnik again in the future. /
- Sung (10/5): Exceptional - I would say~ perfect~!!
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and comfortable room. The host was great, always helpful and welcoming. Stunning views from the rooftop!
- Tadas (9/5): Superb - The owner was amasing from arrival to departure. We got wellcome beer and short (about 1hr :)) Dubrovnik history. The room was clean and cozy. City walls about 5 minutes by walk. There is parking for a car, this is very importand in Dubrovnik if you come by car. Small bakery and market near by About 200 steps up to the hill
- Joel (10/5): Excellent location + excellent host = Best Dubrovnik experience - Duvrovnik is a beautiful city, and Neven's accommodation was perfect! Beyond that he was super kind to us, he picked us up from the airport and told us many stories about the city, the accommodation has a terrace with a beautiful view where we had breakfast, the room is comfortable with a nice bathroom, refrigerator and air conditioning . The fact that the furniture is handmade by Neven gives it a familiar touch! It is very well located, close to a supermarket, bakery, and ATM. 10 minutes from old town and close to the beach. we recommend it 100%
- Ruth (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great for the old town of Dubrovnik- only a 5 minute walk. Neven was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Beautiful view from the veranda. Offered an airport service which was very handy.
- Rachael (9/5): Superb - Location was great, so easy to get to the city. Cheap price and a separate room with own entrance. Thanks for the figs Neven - they were delicious! Close to a supermarket and bakery. Walls were quite thin, so went to sleep with ear plugs. There are quite a few stairs leading up to the room (but everywhere has stairs...)
- Maja (10/5): Where do I even start.. the location is superb, the host is so unique, friendly and super knowledgeable, I wish all host -
- Liborio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carlos (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Neven is a wonderful host. The views of the ocean from the terrace were spectacular. Our room had everything we needed t - The location was perfect for us. The neighbourhood is quiet at night and it takes a few minutes to be in the Old Town. Be prepared to walk many steps!
- Eric (9/5): Great stay with great host - Great room from great host. Neven will provide you with all the info you need and tell you stories about Dubrovnik's history, including personal war stories. Just great.
Very quiet place. Very good Wi-Fi. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Great views from the terrace. Well worth it. Great views means elevation, which means a lot of stairs. Going down to the old city is fine. Going back up, I used bus # 8, from where all the buses seem to stop, which drops you off 50 meters above Neven's home. Only 2 euros. The same bus will drop you off at the airport shuttle bus stop, 2 stops later.
- Catherine (8/5): Quiet - Host is super kind and helpful. He designed a guide book to know everything about Dubrovnik (where to eat, visit, tips, etc).
The room has a separate entrance from the host's apartment. To get to the room, there are 2 sets of stairs (just to keep in mind if you have problems of mobility). In the room, there is coffee, tea, water boiler and a small fridge (so keep in mind there is not kitchen to cook). They provide towels, but not toiletries (just to keep in mind). It is close to old town by walk. You can get a parking into the property, but it is not guaranteed; we went on low season (late March). The view of the room is towards a small patio, but the property has a terrace (you have access to it) with beautiful view. It seemed that the extra blankets we got from the storage above the bed were kept for a while (they have a funny smell). Maybe the host just forgot it because the room was quite clean.
- Gianluca (10/5): the perfect stay for getting to know Dubrovnik, hosted with very special care - the place is perfectly positioned whether you arrive by airport shuttle bus (a quick and easy walk from the bus station) or by local bus (some meters from the bus stop). the old town is also very near.
the room is perfect for a couple, it provides all the services you may need (private bathroom with shower, refrigerator, tea/coffee boiler, hair drier etc.). a unique added value is the terrace on top of the house, with an incredible view on the near Lovrijenac fortress, the coastline and a glimpse of the old town.
but more importantly, the kindness and special care of the owner: he makes you feel at home, so caring for what you may need, and he provides you with so many information about the local attractions and history of Duvrovnik. he is also a tourist guide, a very good singer and guitar player: he succeeded in making our staying and our snacks on the terrace absolutely unforgettable. leaving that beautiful place and getting back home :-(
- Sfyris (3/5): Poor - Niven was very friendly good parking balkon All the others old build old furnitures no kitchen
- Anonymous (10/5): Amazing - Owner Neven was amazing host. property is 5 minutes walking from center of old town . Studenac market is just in front of the apartment. apartment had everything that is necessary for comfortable staying. furniture is all hand made by owner. Definitely I will stay again in this apartment . Solid 10 from me :)
- Oleksii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leonardo (10/5): Excelent location - location and view NA
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Felt like a true home. Neven was great, giving me fruit, a drink, & telling me about the city's history.
- Anna.dal (9/5): Superb - Great view and location. Lots of stairs to walk to the property, but can also be easily accessible by bus. The old town is just a few minutes away. There's a super market and a bakery right across the street.
Friendly host, easily reachable during your stay, very knowledgeable about the city. He welcomed us with cold drinks and gave helpful insights on what to do in the city. The room didn't get cleaned during 4 nights, nor had any of the amenities replaced. No shampoo or gel in the shower.
- Dean (8/5): Very good -
- Govind (9/5): Superb -
- St&zub (9/5): Amazing host and great place to stay. - Alright so basically the awesomeness of the host makes up for alot of less awesome things of my stay. Dont get me wrong, Im very positive about the place. Dubrovnik is not a cheap city to visit and to be able to stay THIS close to the Old Town for only 50 euro per night is a good deal. My wife just likes to have a little kitchen, which we didnt have. The supermarket was ridicilously close and there was a nice little bakery next to it as well! There was a proper working airco as well! So really, im not complaining. This was a great place to stay. And the host is REALLY nice! Lack of kitchen. Everything else was perfect!
- Krzysztof (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ida (10/5): Exceptional - The host was the best. nothing.
