It was also very near Pile Gate so it was convenient to walk to upon arrival even with luggages. The hosts were also very nice and helpful. Draco picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, and Andrej helped us with getting our luggages up the stairs. The apartment was also very clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and Dubrovnik is such a wonderful place! None.

• cyncyn100x (10/5): A gem in the old town with everything you need. - This apartment is honestly SUCH a gem! I'll start with the location which is absolute 10/10 in the old town close enough to the main gate making accessibility super easy. The apartment is SPOTLESS clean, all the facilities you need, the furniture is charming and well kept, the bed is SO COMFORTABLE, the pillows are like clouds; the linen is spotless and in condition expected from a highly rated stars hotel! The owner was clear in his communications, he gave us clear instructions, we used his dad for return airport rides and he was also such a nice man, really kind and courteous. Often hotels don't get it, they'll have one plug socket in one side of the bed and not the other, nowhere to plug near a mirror, the wrong kind of light etc... not here, the placement of the plugs was thoughtful, I really appreciate this; the facilities were well located, even the placement of the air conditioner was done thoughtfully for better utilisation. I have ZERO complaints. Nothing, everything was great.
• Felicity (10/5): Lovely - great helpful hosts - Easy access 1 minute from Pile gate entrance in the Old Town. All you need is provided. Andre took our bags upstairs, provided a late checkout and carried bags down stairs for storage until we left. Great communications and Andre even organised With Drago to transfer us to the airport safely. Nothing - just the stairs to the top floor after a full day out. But I expected that being in the Old Town.

Location, a wonderful opportunity to experience living inside a medieval old town. It was January, my choice for peace and quiet, but a bit nippy, Andrej did provide extra heating, when l asked.

Stairs only up to the apartment but worth the effort The apartment is on the ‘ground level’ of the old town though so only a minor issue (and Drago helped us anyway!).

• Daniel (10/5): Great apartment and location for a comfortable stay in Dubrovnik's Old Town - The apartment was a perfect spot for our 2-day stay in Dubrovnik. We loved the central location and the simple, cozy, and quiet apartment on the 3rd floor. The AC worked great, there was plenty of warm water for showers, bed and sheets were spotless and comfortable, and having a small kitchen and a refrigerator saved us some money by making a few meals and refrigerating store-bought groceries. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, and plates and utensils. Andrej was a great host, stayed in touch before our arrival and was prompt in answering our messages. On our last day we arranged a car ride to the airport with his father for a reasonable price and that worked out great. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

• Carla (9/5): Nice place in great location - Great location, very close to the Stradun and so to many shops and restaurants. Great coffee shop directly across was a bonus. The small kitchenette had dishes, silverware and tea. Mostly quiet at night. More lighting in the bedroom would be great. Apartment is on the small size, so was a tight fit for 2 friends with our bags. Stairs (2 flights) are very steep and narrow, so don't bring large bags.

• Robertshaw (10/5): This lovely apartment in the heart of the old city is family run by people with heart themselves - Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, windows that open, best shower! The stairs not a problem. Excellent hosts who drove me to the airport. Banje beach is a five minute walk and I swam in the Adriatic in November. Sweet home base. From the bus depot take bus 1A or 1B to PILE gate and very short walk to the apartment.
• Xin (9/5): Excellent location, very clean and friendly staff. - Excellent location, very close to the Pile Gate, no steps from the street, only inside the building. The apartment is extremely clean. Andrej is very friendly, found out my check-in time and waited to help with my suitcase up to the apartment; he made sure I had sufficient supplies during my stay. Very comfy bed, powerful shower and a radiator for cold wet weather. The kitchen lacks surface, but it functions well.

• Charlotte (9/5): Lovely unit in the centre of Old Town Dubrovnik. Thoroughly enjoyed the great location. - Lovely apartment but several flights of stairs to the door. Our host was so kind and carried our luggage to our room when it was ready.

• Dustin (8/5): Great little spot tucked in the historic city (drivers beware) - The location is excellent within the city center. Comfortable bed and everything we needed. Quiet at night If you are driving you must park outside walls so be aware the city fines you for driving too close and the tiered parking garage (best in parking) will charge you an hourly rate for a full 24 hrs (currently 7 per hour or 168 per day) despite having a 40 euro daily rate that is only prepay. There is a flat lot 1 min farther away that works in the usual way capping out at 36 per day. Those cost us a nice dinner in the city.

• Edward (8/5): Excellent location, responsive staff. - Location was excellent, inside the old city walls, but just a couple of minutes to Pile Gate. Bakery, convenience stores were just around the corner. Restaurants were even closer. The rooms were 1 bedroom suites with a kitchenette, one on each floor. We rented both. The beds were comfortable. And, although it’s close to the restaurants, they were quiet at night. Drago, the owner, was very responsive. When I complained that the toilet of the top floor suite was not satisfactorily cleaned, he rushed to have it thoroughly cleaned. And, as a goodwill gesture, he offered to drive us to the airport, early in the morning. We appreciate it very much. Drago is a likable person. He fought in the war of independence. Would be fun to talk some more, if we had time. The shower arrangement was kind of awkward, with shower head, even at its lowest position, was too high. We ended up holding it to shower. The Croats are very hard working people. They start their day real early, pushing their carts and garbage cans over pebbled streets, which, unfortunately, is quite noisy.

Accomodation was comfortable - Location was excellent Andrej and his dad were lovely & we’re available for any assistance & airport transfers for a reasonable cost (35 Euros) Lots of stairs to the top apartment but worth it & the nature of a lot of the old town accommodation.

The owner is so kind to tell us how to reach the apartment by informing us which bus to take to the apartment as we arrived very late. We really like the very detailled information about important details a day before. The owner is very easy to talk with and answers all inquiries quickly. Good service, clean towel, can also cook plus free coffee and tea👍🏻👏 Thanks for having us! We really like the place, however we were disturbed by the other guests who are coming in late or early in the morning. It would have been nice to have a curfew hrs like what time to be quiet to avoid disturbances.

The floor was dirty; turned my socks brown. Apartment was on second floor (third floor to Americans), but host met me there and carried my suitcase up, which was very kind.

• Eric (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment is very functional. Located near Pile Gate and there are no steps to take to get to apartment. Inside everything is thought of for a nice stay. Clean, beds are comfortable because of memory foam toppers. Easy to check in and host communicated very well. The only thing to be concerned with is that with large size of luggage it may be difficult to cary it inside using narrow steps.

He picked us up at the car rental on the day we arrived , walked us to the apartment, and then picked us up at 4:30 am to be sure we made our early morning flight.
