• Yi Wen (8/5): Nice apartment, but help was not available when I needed it the most! - Location in the old town itself, spacious - Contact was not available when I needed help the most. the check in procedure was stated as someone would meet me, but it turned out I was supposed to use the pin code. I’m used to using self checkins for apartments, but because of the given instruction, it did not occur to me to check for a lock and panicked for a bit. Most critically, The contact numbers given didnt work and messaging on the app took some time before I finally got a reply. - the apartment was managed by a third party agent Booker, so there was another set of instructions separately. this was where the pin code was indicated. There instructions was 4 pages long and the pin was somewhere in between. - When I finally got in, I messaged a number in the booklet for some help with locking up the door. The reply only came half an hour, and I already sorted ot by then, with much frustration. - given the great ratings, I honestly expected better facilities in the apartment. It is generally ok, but not exceptional. E.g aluminium foil provided but its almost finished, salt provided looked contaminated with specks inside, soap/shampoo is a tiny bottle per person for 4 nights stay. - to be fair, Kate did check in on my via whatsapp on my stay, but it was already too late. As I said, help was not available when I needed it the most.

• Ellen (10/5): A cozy home away from home - The apartment was tastefully decorated. It was clean and cozy. It is relatively easy to get to considering the geography of the old city of Dubrovnik...less than 30 steps of stairs and about 10 minutes walk from Buza Gate. Kate, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful. Our flight arrival was delayed from 2pm to 8pm due to strong winds in the Dubrovnik airport. She came down to the Buza Gate entrance to meet us and help us with the bags and led our way to the apartment. Champaign and fresh fruits await us in the apartment. What a wonderful way to start our visit! Kate was constantly in touch with us during our trip and gave good recommendations on sights and restaurants. We loved the food at Lady PiPi, the restaurant about 1 minute away from the apartment. On the day we left, Kate was very kind to let us store our bags in the apartment till we were ready to leave for the airport. She also came to bid us goodbye. Staying in the apartment definitely was one of the best memories of our visit to Dubrovnik. I have no reservation to recommend it to my friends and it certainly will be my 1st choice of residence if I come back to Dubrovnik. Thank you, Kate, for everything. Nothing.
• Tracey (10/5): Lovely apartment in Old Town - The location was right near Buza Gate so there weren’t many steps to climb to get to the apartment. We were met by the lovely host, Kate, who walked us to the apartment. A welcome bottle of wine was on the table which was a nice surprise. The apartment was very clean and spacious and perfect for our group of 3. To avoid the hundreds of stairs to get down to the main street (Stradun), you can walk out Buza gate and walk outside the city walls to enter via Ploce or Pile Gate (5 min walk). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Apartment Maru Prestige for a stay in Dubrovnik. Nothing

Dubrovnik old town is beautiful - We stayed as a family group, two adults and two grown children. The apartment was fantastic and its location was perfect 👌. Our property hostess Kate was so friendly and helpful. Everything was super clean and it was very quiet. We hope to get the opportunity to return one day. • Beth (9/5): Lovely stay in apartment Maru Prestige while visiting Dubrovnik - The apartment is well situated at the top of the stairs by the Buza gate of the wall around the old city, so it’s convenient when coming and going from town, and we were also able to walk easily to several spots within the old city and just outside. Kate, the host, was wonderful and greeted us and helped us when we couldn’t get into the safe before leaving. She was a delight and so sweet. The apartment was also very clean and worked for our family nicely. There are lots of steps to come up from the heart of the old city! If you don’t want to climb so many every evening after eating or after activities, you shouldn’t stay here. It worked for us, but wouldn’t for everyone. Also, there are no views inside and it is dark, but we did t spend too much time there.
• Rita (4/5): Disappointed and far to many stairs to lag luggage around with those stairs ! - Location and size of the apartment There was a charge that was not declared in booking.com and was requested on arrival. Pay an addition amount to the landlord and booking.com that would be refunded in 21 days.... who does that ! Not happy to outlay the cost of the apartment twice..... :-((((((

Right inside the city gate so you didn’t have to carry your luggage up the endless steps in Dubrovnick. Kate was so very kind and helpful and was waiting for us at the gate to guide us to the location. We loved our stay! Nothing

• Margaret (9/5): We had a wonderful stay in Maru Prestige. Would highly recommend. - Apartment was spacious and had all the amenities. With four adults - two toilets came in handy. Being close to Buza Gate - didn't have too many stairs to negotiate with suitcases, but there were still stairs. Our hostess was lovely. Greeted us very late in the evening after our plane was delayed and explained how everything worked. The apartment was quite dark so the lights were on at all times but you are living in an old building - it is to be expected. Ran out of hot water a couple of times.
• Edith (10/5): Exceptional - Kate met us with the keys and was really friendly, helpful and informative throughout our stay. She'd send directions in advance to minimise the number of stairs we had to climb to get to the accommodation. Dubrovnik is very hilly with lots of steps so this information was really helpful! The location is good with several cafes and restaurant within walking distance. The place is like being at home and is very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.

• Marie (8/5): We might not be back - It had a washing machine, outdoor line to dry laundry, spacious, good selection of TV programs. If you are booking for more than 2pax, be mindful to select a second room even though booking.com advertises it as an apartment. We were caught in a situation when we arrived where we had to pay extra as I had searched for an apartment with 4pax and this showed up. But beware there’s an option for 1room or 2rooms so the apartment price reflected doesn’t mean it’s for 4pax. Booking.com has been transparent with their price with no added price, what they show is what you would normally pay with taxes included (no hidden cost), so we were really upset when we had to pay extra onsite. Dusty floor, guest WC could be cleaner, beds too soft & flat lumpy pillows which is due for change, mouldy oven and we had to clean it before use, chipped & stained mugs. Would have been helpful to have kitchen paper towels. WiFi weak on 2nd floor twin room. Be prepared to climb stairs to the apartment.

Would stay again and recommmend to any family travelling to old town Dubrovnik! - Convenient location close to Buza gate meant we didn’t have to face 100s of stairs with our suitcases. Beautiful space to spread out with our teenagers. Excellent AC for 36° weather. Loved every moment of our holiday in Dubrovnik. Perfect location to explore old town, close to restaurants, stores and the beach. Extremely friendly and helpful check in staff and we really appreciated an early check in at 10:30am after travelling all night from Slovenia.

• Shareen (10/5): Perfect - Great location just inside the old city walls. Which meant you don’t have to carry your luggage up and down 100’s of steps. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Kate was lovely- very helpful and accommodating . I would highly recommend this place

The apartment is big, clean, furnished with style even if the house itself is pretty ancient as it is in the very historic center of the city! Definitely recommended! :) The apartment is on ground level on the street so it can get a bit noisy especially in the mornings and also remember to keep the door locked!
