• Stacy (10/5): A perfectly located Old Town retreat that made Dubrovnik feel both magical and comfortably like home. - Location was fantastic! Apartment was very clean, comfortably furnished, shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, and kitchen supplies and amenities well appointed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this apartment to anyone seeking to stay within City Walls. Nothing… it exceeded my expectations in every way!

All necessary amenities and just a few strides from a tiny park with table and benches. Perfect for outdoor dining. Only tiny gripe was lack of microwave or cooker for heating food/bread

Ana our host was lovely very responsive to our messages and best of all allowed us to check in early and out later so we could maximise our time in Dubrovnik

• Clémentine (8/5): Très bon séjour - La situation dans la vieille vielle est super mais n'ayez pas peur de gravir les nombreuses (104!) marches pour atteindre le logement depuis la rue principale. Le logement était très propre et bien équipé! Nous avons eu un peu froid dans le logement (séjour en février) car le système de chauffage n'était pas très efficace.

• Karolina (10/5): - The apartment was very cozy, warm and we loved staying there. Ana is an astonishing guest - we could check in early, also check out late and she was always there to answer. The place is fully furnished with a lot of complementaries in the fridge such as coke and wine and coffee. :) Even though the weather was not that favourable, we returned there every time as to our happy place and even got a day to sit outside and eat some lovely rolls and pastry. We would definitely come back, even though it means to step up 108 stairs to get there again. (Dubrovnik is all about the stairs haha). Thank you for having us Ana!
• Philip (7/5): loved Dubrovnik old city. 100 steps down to and up from the main square were quite a challenge. - Being inside the old city. Washing machine. Well equipped. Dining lounge room is small. Main issue was the amount of steps up and down to get to the unit. Difficult for anyone with mobility issues, seniors, people with young children, anyone with a number of cases. We used porter service when we left the property.

• Tom (10/5): We had a fabulous stay at this very well equipped apartment and would highly recommend it to others. As a family of 4 we - The property was in a great location, close to the main hub but far enough away to be quiet in an evening. The apartment was also bigger than anticipated and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. It felt like a home away from home and we would absolutely recommend this place to other families. Nothing!

• melissa (8/5): A lovely space- but note the stairs. - Clean. Good amenities- washing machine. Excellent space. *Just a note- the property was 102 steps up from the main streets in Old Town. Not suitable if you have to carry luggage up. We used a porter for €17.50 per suitcase - well worth it and definitely needed.

• Susan (10/5): Geweldig! - Perfecte locatie binnen de oude stad. Alles binnen een enkele minuten loopafstand. Heel goed verzorgde accommodatie met heerlijke bedden. Ook een leuk om even buiten voor de deur te zitten op het pleintje. Als je met de auto naar Dubrovnik komt is deze accommodatie een kleine uitdaging. Parkeren moet wat verder weg geregeld worden. Maar de verhuurder is erg behulpzaam hierin.

• Melis (10/5): - Location was great- in the old town but not in the middle so you don't have too much noise. Host was very kind and hospitable. Everything was perfect.
• Ariann (9/5): Great spot in a convenient location - The apartment was in a really convenient location, about a 5 minute walk from Buza Gate and about 10 minutes to the ferry station. Everything was clean and Ana had everything we might need like irons, washing machine and hair dryer. She was also very communicative during our stay.

It was quite high up in the old town with a lot ifs steps. Once we realised there was a different way to go though via the walls it was no problem.

• Vivienne (8/5): Very good - Location in old town, convenient to all the sights, activities, restaurants and public transport hub. Nice hosts. The many stairs were difficult for suitcases and taxing to walk up. Not appropriate for elderly or unfit. It's just the design of the town.

Would recommend. Dubrovnik is very hilly and our apartment was at the top of the hill so may be a problem for some people.

• Jun (9/5): Superb - Apartment sits in a quiet area within the Old Town of Dubrovnik, beneath the Minceta fort. Two bedrooms, spacious with air conditioner, comfortable and well maintained. Very convenient to see the sights, restaurants and to explore the Old Town. Owner/host was very kind in giving practical advice on arrival and being reachable during our 2 night stay. Being on the corner of the Old Town, you will need to climb / ascend steps wherever you go. Our visit was during the peak heat, and the large suitcases didn't help. However, there are porter services to help you with the luggage, if you need the help.
• Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment within the city walls in the Old Town. Very well equipped & clean, with little extras like toiletries and fruit juice provided - much appreciated! Bedrooms were sizeable with plenty of storage space. Host arranged transfer from the airport for us, and was there to meet us at the city gates (Buza Gate) when the taxi dropped us off. Despite being in the old town, location was very quiet with not many pedestrians passing by which was a bonus. Note there are 105 steep steps from the main street (Stradun) to the property.
• Cameron (10/5): Perfect! - I don’t think you could find better accommodation for a family in this area. This apartment is within the walls of the old city, and you will be grateful for having the space. The family that owns the apartment is lovely and were extremely helpful and communicative. Would certainly return. This is the perfect spot for a family of four

• Claire (9/5): Superb - My friend and I enjoyed the central location to the old town (about 5 mins from the main st of the old town and Buza gate) but still in a quiet area. Also, the apartment was modernly renovated and had all the amenities you could require. The host was very responsive and helpful to any queries we had. The air conditioning was a very welcome addition coming back from a warm day sightseeing. Unfortunately, we were woken up briefly by the noise of the apartment above us on several nights during our stay.

Again a wonderful host, made us feel right at home. Very kind and generous to us. Helped us with our suitcases. Because Old Town is an old walled city with many stairs, it's not wise to lug rolling suitcases up and down the cobblestone streets and stairs. Our host was kind to store our suitcases for us, but we had to take a smaller backpack to the apartment.
• Ann (10/5): Beautiful place to stay away from the crowds in Old Town. - The apartment seemly newly renovated. The bathroom and kitchen were updated and well equipped. The beds were really comfortable. There were a lot of steps to get to it from the main Pile Gate so be in old town. It was much easier to get to from the other gate (which the staff told us about ) . It was nice and quiet at night . All good .
• Mark (10/5): Great place, great location. - Everything If carrying your luggage a distance up and down stairs in the old town is a problem, this may not be a good choice for you. This applies to almost any place in old town.

• Lourdes (10/5): Great place! - Hosts were engaged and helpful from giving us advise prior to our arrival regarding our rental vehicle, providing transfer to apt after returning it upon our arrival in the city on a windy and rainy evening. Also they came with us (helped us with luggage!!) and showed us around the apt. They arranged our transportation to the airport for our 6 am flight - which was prompt and reasonably priced. Nothing to dislike but note that plenty steps are involved in coming and going - a small price for the benefit of staying within the city walls! FYI - for our departure we hired a luggage carrier (Baggage & smiles) to take our bags to the Buza gate where we’d meet our driver.
• Leonie (10/5): Staying at Welcome Apartment Old Town in Dubrovnik made our visit here very memorable. Highly recommend - Welcome Apartment Old Town was an extremely lovely and clean apartment. Ana was the perfect manager. She gave us great ideas on tours, restaurants and sites to visit whilst in Dubrovnik. She was very approachable and went out of her way to organise the best way to get to Ploce when we had to cut our time short in Dubrovnik. She even got her husband to drop us off at the bus station. Highly recommend 10/10

It was quiet. There was a washing machine. Like all Old Town properties it is on a steep stained street. Be prepared for 59-100 step climbs to property from Old Town gates. It could benefit for some luggage racks.

The location of the apartment was exceptional, inside the Old City walls, very quiet, clean. I HIGHLY recommend this apartment and the hosts. The unique basketball court right next to the apartment, with one of the best views of all Dubrovnik, was a very pleasant bonus.

The host Ana was immediately responsive, met us when we arrived, and allowed us to check in earlier than planned! One of our bags ripped open on the flight over, and Ana brought us a replacement bag of her own as there was nowhere to purchase a replacement - thank you so much for your generosity Ana!! That we could not stay longer!

• Korrine (10/5): Fab, busy stay in centre of Dubrovnik exploring this wonderful town. - Lovely clean apartment well equipped. Everything you need, Ana is a great host, on hand to help with restaurant recommendations and finding your way around Dubrovnik. Nothing negative to say other than if you have mobility issues, this isn’t the apartment for you as there are a lot (108)steep steps down to the main town. Whichever way you arrive, there are steps involved and cobbles to carry luggage across, Ana does happily assist with this though but a good level of fitness is required 😃

The only things to note is as in all of Dubrovnik there are many old steps to get to and from the apartment which could be difficult for some travellers.

Ana is super nice and helpful person, the apartment is big, cozy and super clean. There was everything we needed and even more. Location is great, close to everything, but at the the same time it's far from street crowds and restaurant noises, it was very quiet at night. It's on the ground floor which means a lot as Dubrovnik streets have maaany stairs. Air conditioning helped us to survive the heat. Highly reccomended!
