• To100mek (9/5): Pobyt w apartamencie - super, Dubrownik przepiękny ( tylko te wszechobecne schody) - Apartament z pięknym widokiem na Old City. Salon przestronny, duży z przeszkoloną całą ścianą z drzwiami przesuwnymi na taras. Wyposażenie OK. Byliśmy tylko 4 dni więc sprzęty nie miały specjalnego znaczenia bo wychodziliśmy rano po śniadaniu przygotowanym na miejscu, a wracaliśmy wieczorem odpocząć na tarasie. Sypialnia ok z szerokim łóżkiem (nie dzielonym) bardzo wygodnym. Właściciel bardzo gościnny, przygotował śniadanie (przylecieliśmy wcześnie rano) zakwaterował kilka godzin przed formalnym przejęciem apartamentu i na drugi dzień poczęstował winem. - super, polecam. Wejście do apartamentu jest dość skomplikowane, bez prowadzenia przez właściciela jest bardzo trudne. Ale to jest taki urok tego apartamentu, usytuowania nie da się zmienić, więc właściciel jest tego świadomy i wprowadza osobiście swoich gości.
• Dominika (10/5): Świetna lokalizacja i widok - Mieszkanie z pięknym widokiem z balkonu na stare miasto. Było bardzo czysto i schludnie, a apartament jest wyposażony we wszystkie niezbędne sprzęty. Właściciel na powitanie przygotował poczęstunek, co było bardzo miłym gestem, a dodatkowo był pomocny. Do mieszkania prowadzi sporo schodów, więc dla osób o słabszej kondycji może to stanowić pewne wyzwanie.

Extremely well equipped. Clean, comfortable, balcony overlooking an amazing vista. Owner always on hand if needed. 10/10 Absolutely nothing could be improved on.
• Krecu (10/5): Our host was so generous I wish I would have brought something for them from my home country. - Our host met us at the closest access and helped carry our luggage. The apartment was immaculate! The view amazing! The bed very comfortable. The shower and facilities great. We did fine with the stairs. For the view you will need to navigate stairs anywhere in Dubrovnik.
• Barbara (10/5): - Sehr herzlicher Empfang und Schlüsselübergabe. Gute Informationen zum Appartement und nahegelegenen Einrichtungen. Der Gastgeber hatte zur Begrüßung eine kleine Auswahl an Getränken und Snacks bereitgestellt. Sehr aufmerksam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können das Appartement sehr empfehlen. Man sollte gut Treppenlaufen können. Bis zur Altstadt sind es ca. 430 Treppen. Wir fanden das nicht schlimm und haben den tollen Ausblick von der Terrasse genossen.

• Cedarian (10/5): - Amazing views of old town and a very spacious and comfortable apartment. We were greeted with pastries, local beer and fruit in the fridge as an unexpected but amazing surprise! Great communication throughout our stay and arrangements to the airport were an added bonus. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Dubrovnik
• David (10/5): Great host, Best view, Lovely apartment - From the intial booking Mladen communicated and made everything stress free. He arranged our airport transfers and prepared a lovely surprise for my wifes birthday on arrival along with drinks and food. The apartment is clean, comfortable and the view from the balcony is amazing. Mladen gave us all the advice and info needed without being intrusive. Perfect place to stay when visiting Dubrovnik Nothing. But worth baring in mind it's an uphill climb from the old town to get back to the apartment. 100% worth it for the view

• Andrew (10/5): - The views are amazing. The apartment is nice and spacious. The host was super amazing. Great communication and really helped make the trip go so smoothly. We recommend anyone going to Dubrovnik to stay here, you won't regret it. Nothing. If you are uncomfortable with steps then be warned there are quite a few as you are up a hill but we enjoyed the walk up and down each time.

• Sofie (9/5): Lovely stay with amazing view and great facilities - My second stay here and as before, Mladen was an attentive host who made every effort to make our stay comfortable. We appreciated the snacks he left for us and were delighted to receive a bottle of wine from him. The apartment is well equipped for cooking simple meals and there are nearby convenience stores, with a larger and more reasonably priced supermarket a kilometre away. The apartment is well placed above the old town and within easy reach of hiking routes. The view over the old town and islands is exceptional, and there's a good sized table and chairs on the large terrace so you can enjoy the view while eating. Plenty of towels, linen etc with spares are provided. As we were unrelated adults, we had the sofa bed made up and it didn't seem that folding it up to use as a sofa during the day was really an option, but we worked around it.

• Rhonda (10/5): Great and comfortable stay in Dubrovnik - The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful, and we had a great time in the old town. Malden went above and beyond making sure we were well taken care of. From the taxi pick up and drop off, and the yummy treats, beer and wine awaiting us when we arrived. We also needed a laundromat to wash a few things and he did laundry for us. We would highly recommend staying here in Dubrovnik! Nothing everything was great!
• Marek (10/5): Wygodny przestronny apartament z wspaniałym widokiem - Wspaniały widok z okien. Wygodny przestronny apartament, duży balkon z wyposażeniem. Super czystość. Gospodarz opiekuńczy - podarował wino, a w lodówce 2 piwa i owoce :) Salon jest wyposażony w ogromne okna od podłogi do sufitu i dobrze, bo daje przestronny widok na miasto i morze. Ale to powoduje że w apartamencie jest bardzo jasno i słońce też nieco wpada. Brak jakichkolwiek zasłon, rolet lub okiennic. Spodziewałbym się, jak i pewnie wiekszość gości, że choć częsciowo można będzie zmniejszyć tą jasność. Dlaczego jednak mimo to oceniłem na 10? Bo tą niewielką niewygodę rekompensuje z naddatkiem gospodarz. W każdej chwili od samego początku do wyjazdu czuliśmy się zaopiekowani i jestem pewien że w przypadku problemów można było liczyć na pomoc. Balkon z widokiem wychodzi w stronę publicznego tarasu który jest poniżej - jakieś 15m. Czasem siedzą tam ludzie i głośno gadają co słychac w apartamencie.
• Ann (10/5): - Mladen, the owner, is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and well taken care of. He arranged a taxi for us to and from the airport, as well as three amazing excursions outside the city, all perfectly organized. Since he lives in the same building, it was easy to reach him with any questions or requests, and he was always happy to assist. The apartment itself had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. On arrival, we were welcomed with drinks, fruit, spreads, and fresh bread, which was such a thoughtful touch. Mladen even surprised me with a gift for my birthday, which made the stay feel extra special. One of the highlights was the spacious terrace with a stunning view over the city absolutely perfect for relaxing. While getting to the old town involves climbing quite a few stairs, it became part of our daily routine and felt like a free workout with a rewarding view at the end. Overall, the apartment was perfect for us. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

• Scott (10/5): An enchanting experience and beautiful accommodations. - The most magnificent view in Dubrovnik! The balcony was so great to have. The apartment was pristine, so very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the couch was very comfortable. We can not praise Mladen’s place and his hosting services enough. All was top notch. There are a lot of steps but it’s a great way to work off a big meal and stay fit.

• juan fco (9/5): Alójate en un mirador - Las vistas son impresionantes. Poder disfrutar de una terraza como esa no tiene precio. El apartamento está muy nuevo y con unas instalaciones estupendas. El anfitrión fue super atento y amable con nosotros. Todo perfecto. Es cierto que tal como está estructurada la ciudad, para gente mayor o niños muy pequeños puede ser un problema la cantidad de escaleras que hay. Para nosotros ningún problema. Además, el casero ya nos avisó a la hora de planificar los traslados y todo fue estupendo.
• luiza (10/5): Breathtaking views cannot be beaten - This property has a million dollar view. Nothing can beat it! The owner went above and beyond by organizing a driver as we arrived in the middle of the night. He waited for us and also had food and drinks for us in the fridge because we had arrived at the 1 am. He was incredibly helpful with any and all questions we had. We couldn’t ask for a better host. Just a few notes to consider: if you’re not used to very hot weather, probably don’t travel to Dubrovnik in August. Also, any mobility issues and this is not the place for you as there are countless steps you need to take to get to and from old town. This is not a property issue, this is a Dubrovnik issue. There’s nothing to say that’s negative about this property. I would suggest to maybe have a small fan available for the bedroom in the hottest summer months. We are Canadian so the heat was something we struggled with. If you’re used to the heat, it will probably not be an issue for you.
• Dominika (9/5): - Apartmán bol priestranný, čistý s fantastickým výhľadom na more a Staré mesto. Hostiteľ Mladen bol nápomocný, po príchode nás čakalo občerstvenie, ovocie a počas pobytu sme dostali aj fľašu výborného chorvátského vína. Apartmán sa nachádza na kopci a vedie k nemu od Starého mesta veľa schodov, na čo sme boli upozornení, takže sme s tým rátali, ale vo vysokých teplotách to bolo náročnejšie. Ale výhľad z apartmánu všetko zatienil 🙂

• Greta (10/5): Dubrovnik è meravigliosa, non bisogna assolutamente perdersela! - La casa era molto accogliente e la vista sulla cittá è spettacolare Un po’ impegnativa da raggiungere, soprattutto se come noi avete tanti bagagli 😄 state leggeri e tenete conto che non è possibile raggiungere la struttura con l’auto. Dubrovnik va visitata a piedi, ed è bella così 😊

Herr Simic var trevlig, genuint vänlig, generös och gav oss all behövlig service och information vi kunde behöva. Detta boende och värd rekommenderas starkt.

No hacia falta subir al teleférico porque desde la terraza se veía todo la ciudad y los alrededores. Quizás los casi 500 escalones estrechos desde old town al apartamento, pero para tener esas vistas y esa ubicación era imposible que no fuese así
• Gemma (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely stunning view - the host was brilliant , he left us snacks on arrival and even gave us a bottle of wine. Apartment was clean and tidy and felt safe. Just be aware the amount of steps - we used Ubers from the main road instead.
• Antti (10/5): Perfect in every aspect. - The view is spectacular. It is wonderful to have breakfast at the balcony, enjoying the warm wind from the see. If you like sunbathing, the sun is shining there all day but you can also stay in the shadow when needed. And when the sun sets and the lights turn on in the old town, the view gets even more magical. The apartment is fully equipped and our host Mladen was very kind and responsive whenever needed.

The owner asked us to have the taxi driver call him and then came to meet us. The owner was extremely helpful in every way. There were a lot of steps, but we decided not to let them bother us.

He took good care of us during the visit and arranged transportation to and from the airport. The views from the apartment are breathtaking. Thank you Mladen for everything!

Like many other apartments in Dubrovnik, there are literally hundreds of steps up to it from the road. Pack light!
• Myriam (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect! We arrived on a Sunday and the shops were closed. But we found bread, cheese, fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice provided for us by the apartment owners! During our stay they were extremely helpful with information about the city and possible excursions. We even got a homade bottle of wine! And the view is spectacular.

Would definitely recommend it and will definitely stay here again when we are in this area Everything was great. But my only issue would be to put a black out curtain or blind in the bedroom. But apart from that, everything was perfect
• Frances (9/5): Superb - The view and the hosts. Our hosts were very welcoming and had left us a plate of local cheeses and meats along with two beers in the fridge. What a lovely surprise and so appreciated after a very long day of travel from Canada. We enjoyed them, and the view, on the patio. Highly recommend staying here but only if you are able to climb stairs to and from the Old Town. Not a negative about the apartment itself but a note to make you aware that this is above the Old Town so there are many stairs to climb.

Clean, spacious, very comfortable bed, a 10-minute walk to the old town, and stunning views from the terrace! Mladen is very friendly and helpful and lives on the property, so we often ran into him and enjoyed chatting.

• Carol (10/5): Highly recommended stay in Dubrovnik! - The apartment was fabulous. Plenty of space for the two of us. Clean and well furnished with everything you need for a holiday! The view from the balcony was stunning and the perfect place to spend an hour in the evening watching the boats and sunset over the old town. 10 minutes walk away from the major tourist attractions. Mladen went above and beyond and was so attentive to our needs.
• Shivani (8/5): Exceptional view but needs some work on practicalities - The view ( as everyone else mentioned) is exceptional. The host was very kind and friendly, gave us a bottle of home made wine on our birthday. A cheese and meat platter with some bread and a fruit basket was also kept ready for us as a welcome treat. My 7 years old played ( and exchanged some Pokemon cards) with the host’s 5 year old son too. Enough cutlery was stocked. I won’t mention the steps as that is clearly stated in the description, yes there are almost 400 steps but that is upto you to choose. However, I feel there could have been a curtain on the window/door to the balcony , I mean I would prefer one while I sleep and not wake up because of too much light in the room at 6am. Also, the sofa bed in living room is uncomfortable, my child refused to sleep there so my husband had to sleep on it for 6 nights which was not the most comfortable experience.

Location is easily accessible from the major road The host is very helpful giving us local tips. Its not really big deal for us but be prepared for plenty of stairs when going to and from Old Town.
• Kyle (10/5): Gorgeous spot to stay above old town Dubrovnik - The view from this apartment is spectacular! Exactly how it looks in all the photos. The host is also extremely kind, he met me and showed me the easiest way into the property. He and his wife live downstairs so they are nearby, and his wife prepared a meat & cheese plate, some bread, and some juice for me upon arrival which was so sweet! The location is also walking distance to the old city of Dubrovnik (just beware walking back to the property is mostly uphill).
• Dana (10/5): Incredibly beautiful apartment with a welcoming host! I will return and recommend to others! - It has an incredible view and is clean, welcoming, simply gorgeous. Mladen is a great host. He even let me leave my luggage there during the day when I had a night flight, and he is always there to support and make me feel safe as a solo female traveller!
• Majella (9/5): A beautiful apartment with amazing views, just a nice distance away from downtown Dubrovnik. - The views from the property were amazing, so beautiful to wake up to each morning and the sunsets were wonderful. The host Mladen was a fantastic host. He lives with his family onsite so is always on hand to help. He went above and beyond and left us some fruits, meats and drinks on our arrival. I would really recommend this apartment. Whilst it was the most beautiful location on the mountain side, this meant that there were lots of steps to climb to the apartment. However, once you planned ahead, this was a small price to pay for such beautiful views.

He arranged a taxi for us - We arrived very tired from our trip and the owner had juice , beer , meat, cheese ,homemade bread and fruit for us . It was quiet and comfortable . Beautiful view . Lots of steps from old town but great fitness experience !
• John (10/5): A very enjoyable stay. - The view from the apartment was spectacular. Our host Mladen couldn't have been more helpful both before and during the stay. He spoke to our taxi driver on the way from the airport so we were dropped off at the most convenient location and he met us there very shortly after. There were some lovely fresh meats, cheese, bread, and fruit awaiting us in the fridge and later he arrived with a lovely bottle of wine. He was helpful without being intrusive which was just perfect and gave us some very good recommendations on places to go. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Would definitely return if we are back in Dubrovnik again. We knew the view came with a payoff and there are a lot of steps up from the old town so be prepared for that.

The AC in the living room did not reach the bedroom. If you are going in summer the bedroom was very very hot. A fan would help.

We arrived after travelling for hours in high temperatures and he meet us personally and had drinks and lunch for us . When we were leaving he organised a taxi and walked us to the pick up. In addition, the host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and was very thoughtful. The apartment was exactly how it was advertised and very clean- I’d highly recommend staying at this property for any couple looking for a relaxing getaway.

• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - The view from the balcony was incredible. Exactly what you see on the website. Mladen was extremely helpful with our bags, taxis, everything. He was friendly but in no way intrusive. Once you are in he leaves you alone unless you have an issue which he deals with straightaway. Very impressive. The flat is ideal. To get that view, however, there are a lot of stairs. Down to the old city maybe 200 (which means 200 back). But that seems to be the general layout of the city. There is the beautiful walled old city, right next to the sea, then outside of that it is very steep in every direction. It's a hilly place.
• Josua (10/5): Great view and nice apartment, would happily recommend. - The view and the balcony was absolutely amazing, the pictures don’t make it justice. The apartment is fairly large and our host was very helpful. We’d especially recommend to follow his advice with a day trip with bus 10 to Cavtat, if you want to escape the tourists in Old Town Dubrovnik. We personally enjoyed the extra exercise but should warn that the view also comes with many stairs. 436 steps to be precise, from Pile gate to the apartment door. It’s not possible to reach the apartment with car so keep that in mind. Just some minor practical details were lacking, like a dish rack for drying dishes, hooks for towels in the bathroom and dark curtains for the bedroom. We got help with a temporary solution for the curtains however.
• Mary (9/5): Wonderful place to relax and enjoy after busy sightseeing days! We would come back here! - The rooms were very clean and spacious , the kitchen had everything you would need if you cooked. The view was spectacular……The best. Mladen, our host made sure everything was perfect for us. He had meats, cheeses, bread, juice and beer in the fridge for us, which was great so we didn’t have to go to the store first thing. We would stay here again for sure. The only thing to note is that you have to climb lots of stairs to come and go, not a problem unless you have mobility issues. Then it would be a challenge for you. But the view from the rooms and terrace is worth it!!

You will have to walk a bit to reach the property which is mentioned in the description. So, please plan accordingly if you are travelling with kids and strollers.

• Tuna (10/5): Beautiful place owned by amazing family - It was clean, nice, more than enough space for a couple and a child. Super handy having a kitchen and a supermarket near, we could cook every day at home. We were received with some extras: local charcuterie and fruit that were absolutely awesome. Also, no need to buy stuff like soap for the dishes or salt, they already have some there. The owners were EXTREMELY helpful, absolutely nice people. The views are to die for. The only negative side is that you get 5 minutes straight of flights of stairs to get there, which can be tiring, but not their fault whatsoever.
• Eve (8/5): Very good - Owner, Mladen was very helpful with directions and transportation to airport! Our refrigerator was stocked with a delicious plate of welcome meats and bread as well as fresh fruit and drinks!!! It felt like a well stocked and cared for home!!! Can walk to Cable car in 10 minutes and to Ploce Gate in 15 minutes.😀👍 Hard to reach with luggage due to confusing given booking.com address versus actual Apt address used for Uber taxi drivers!!!🥹

• Delaney (10/5): It was like our home away from home - This was one of our favourite stays during our month trip! The hosts were amazing and so accommodating. They treated us wonderfully upon our arrival, and upon our exit. The view is amazing! We liked everything about the property. The only negative could be the hills, but unless you stay in the heart of downtown, you’re going to encounter hills in Dubrovnik.
• Karen (10/5): Would highly recommend to friends! Amazing Apartment in Dubrovnik. - The view from the balcony was fabulous both day and night. It was well stocked and extremely clean. The host was exceptional, providing a welcome array of fruits, cheese and bread. He was very helpful in providing recommendations and opinions about the area. Because of the amazing view it was a 10 minute climb from Old Town. Was very manageable but be aware if not able to walk up stairs ☺️

• Richard (10/5): We can thank Mladen enough for his kindness and friendliness. This has got to be one of the apartments with the best vie - We loved the view. The cooking facilities were good and the host Mladen was fantastic in everything. We underestimated how hot it would be makes walking up and down all the stairs hard. But that isn’t the fault of the apartment so it’s only a small dislike at this moment!
• Roman (10/5): The best vacation we've ever had!! - Despite of a short stay, it was the best experience we have ever had!! Mladen and his family are really exceptional hosts, we enjoyed communicating with Mladen and his little and cute son so much. Before the meeting us, Mladen was so kind to instruct us, to help us and to describe everything we needed to know in detail before arriving. Upon the meeting, he told us everything about getting around in Dubrovnik, things to do, closest places to visit which we very much appreciated! The apartment is really amazing, at probably the best spot in Dubrovnik, with less than 10min walk down the stairs to the old city main gates, old port and beaches, with stunning views to the old city, the sea and the closest beautiful island, and very close to the walking path in the mountain. Balcony is a perfect place for breakfast in the morning, enjoying the best views of the city. The apartment is fully equipped, with spacious modern kitchen and rooms, everything as explained in the description. Mladen was so kind to install an extra bed for our little son, and also gave us some great snacks, milk, fruits. He gave us even chocolate and local wine which one of the best we have ever tried!! and we could use pasta and oil in the kitchen for cooking. For sure, Mladen's apartment would be our top choice for the next visit in Croatia!
• Arlene (10/5): Exceptional - Mladen and his family were exceptional hosts during our stay. They are incredibly kind, helpful and kept their facilities and apartment clean and tidy. They helped us in any way we needed and went above and beyond. The location is perfect, as it's close to the old town, but still very peaceful. We hope to return again some day! Nothing. • Daisy (9/5): Superb - Location was amazing, surely the best view in Dubrovnik! Mladen couldn’t have been more accommodating either. Would definitely recommend staying here. There isn’t much to fault in this apartment, the only thing I would maybe add is a fan in the bedroom.

• Toby (10/5): Stunning location, 10 minutes from the old town entrance! - Perfect location with a nice kitchen area for basic cooking. A very nice bathroom. One bedroom with a large bed and a single and a sofa bed in the lounge. The balcony is nice, where you can see most of the old town from the corner. Would highly recommend with nothing coming close to the value for money in the area. Nothing :)
• Fiona (10/5): Fabulous stay at Simic Apartments. Super helpful host, perfect location, spotless, comfy and quiet - We had a fabulous stay at Simic Apartments. The host Mladen arranged a taxi for us from the airport and came to meet us as soon as we arrived, making everything super smooth and easy for us after an early flight. He spent time giving us lots of tips and information about Dubrovnik, which was really appreciated. The apartment was spotless and very spacious for 3 people, and the beds and sofa beds were all super comfy. The apartment was lovely and cool and we had fantastic views and a lovely balcony. We were even left some fresh bread and fruit, which was a really nice touch. The location is perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the city walls. There are around 400 steps to get there but you get used to it after a day or two and it means in the evenings it is super quiet. It is also extremely easy to catch taxis and ubers from the main road near the apartment. Highly recommend and would 100% stay here again Nothing

• Sofie (10/5): Lovely apartment, great location, fantastic host - Mladen has been an exceptional host, going out of his way to ensure I was comfortable. He arranged airport pickup and was waiting to show me to the flat, offer advice about the best ways into town (important bc lots of stairs) and gave great information on request about local facilities. He also stocked up the fridge with fruit, ham and beer, even got gluten free pasta and bread to cater for my dietary needs. When next door started some building work (not his fault) he offered some wine as an apology! The flat is super comfortable and even though it only has a partial sea view, I have had most of my meals overlooking Dubrovnik old town and the Adriatic, which is just lovely. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking a variety of meals, unlike many other apartments I've stayed in, with basics like salt/pepper/sugar/cooking oil all provided. The hot water is very hot, shower pressure is great and lots of spare towels/blankets are provided. Local facilities include supermarkets open all day including weekends. The flat's exceptionally well placed for exploring both the old town and beyond, and I've enjoyed hiking up Mount Srđ, pottering around the Old Town and a boat trip to the islands, which was exceptionally good value at €47 including 5 course lunch. Dubrovnik is unreasonably beautiful and although prices are quite high, I've had some really lovely meals. I recommend Trattoria Carmen (booking is a good idea). The place is a tourist Mecca but other tourists (and locals) have all been well behaved and respectful, and no problems with drunks or loud children - although I believe the old town can get a bit noisy at night, so staying outside is a good idea. I've felt extremely safe, including in the evenings and early mornings. Beaches around the Old Town are stony but I had some lovely swimming off sandy beaches on the islands; the water is so clear.
• Annie (10/5): Lovely apartment with spectacular view and great host - We stayed 6 nights here and it was very memorable. The apt is very modern in a central location near the old town of Dubrovnik but very quiet and also close to public transportation including buses and ferries. We enjoyed the large balcony with the views, including in the evening. The host Mladen was very attentive, available and booked us an interesting group, day tour. He set up a paid shuttle from the airport and also a taxi when we left. There were even some lovely treats for us in the fridge when we first arrived. FYI, there are many stairs going down to the old town. We are in our sixties and relatively fit so had no problems at all. The owner did advise us in advance, just in case. Thank you so much Mladen for being the perfect host!
