- Kieran (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (8/5): Would recommend if capable of walking 83 steps and then narrow steps up to bedrooms. - Location and communication re property Needs a light above table, tv not working and musty smell in bathroom/laundry.
- Eva (8/5): Excellent place to explore beautiful Dubrovnik. - Location and the traditional building. Would have liked some more hooks to hang towels from in bathroom.
- Camelia (3/5): I’d never recommend.Terrible value for the money. - The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable Stunk terribly from the drains. 3 very steep things about the apartment 1. 24 steep stairs inside the apartment to the loft bedroom. 2. Location was up or down many steep stairs. There was no mention of the stairs in the property description. $177 euros was a steep price. The price listed inside the apartment was &130 Booking price $177😮
- Johann (7/5): Good - The location of the place is great! It is located in the Old Town. The 2nd and 3rd floor of the apartment seems to be renovated recently and so that was nicely done. The place provided everything that we needed to stay at the place. I was not there but this is my aunt's comments when I asked them how it was:
Though we knew what to expect, climbing those stairs in the Old Town to the apartment with luggage was not as easy. But that is what you get for being in Old Town. The first floor needs renovating. Lighting was lacking in the first floor. Tiles looked old and the bathroom was on the first floor. Anytime we need to use the bathroom we had to go downstairs so it was a little inconvenient.
- Israel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (3/5): Poor - Could not get TV to work and a cooker - no attempt to fix.
- Eter (7/5): Good - The apartment is in the old town and but also close to the wall. This made it easier to get to the apartment with the luggage as it is impossible to drive a car within the old town. Apartment was what I expected. It is a very old building, hence, it cannot have all the comfort of a new building. We did not sleep well since the mattresses were not good. Furthermore, we had only a sheet as the cover, so felt cold entire night. This resulted me catching a cold. When showering you always have to hold shower, it is not possible to tie it somewhere. Therefore, it made difficult to wash my head.
- Lennane (8/5): Very good - Charm and ambiance of the old town building. The Stairs, to get to the apartment were very steep and so many, we were able to do it, but it would have been nice to know at time of booking, as it would have been a struggle/ unachievable for elderly or the unfit people.
- Dorothy (9/5): Nice location, but need to navigate a lot of steep stairs. - Location is excellent. A person was standing outside when we got there to introduce us into the apartment. Nothing the place could do to change this, but you have to like stairs to get there and utilize the bathroom on the first floor.
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Exciting location but should tell visitors it is not suitable for older people.
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location, inside the city walls and down the steps to the Stradun It was a bit difficult to arrive through the gate at the top, due to the amount of steps and our luggage. But when we left Dubrovnik, we went down the steps and along the Stradun to the Pile gate and out to the bus station, that was much easier
- Julie (3/5): wouldn’t recommend other than the location - location the stairs to the bedrooms were dangerous. I realize this is an old building, but too risky going up and down the stairs to use the restroom on the bottom floor. also, the only mirror in the place was a small porthole mirror in the bathroom.
- Martina (10/5): Bozo was so accommodating even organised our transfer too and from the airport! The apartment was very clean, in the hea - Very central, right in the heart of the oldtown, had everything you would need for a holiday, the apartment was fully equipped
- Elvis (8/5): Very good - Jelena was very polite and helpful, by giving us extra time to check out at 11 (was supposed to check out at 10). Thank you for the kindness again!
Located in old town Dubrovnik, saving us a lot of time so we can travelling around easily.
AC was strong, unlike some other properties in Croatia which made us naked at sleep. Because the property is an old building so the smell in the bathroom was kinda hard to get out.
Taking the luggages were a hard task for us as we needed to walk up/ down the Dubrovnik old town stairs. But both situations are understandable.
- Susan (8/5): In the action! - The location was amazing! Just be prepared to walk the steps, a new appreciation for what life was like for those who lived here so long ago. The bedrooms were great, modern and clean. The bathroom was a little damp and had no fan.
- Linzi (8/5): Perfect overnight stay in city walls - Text responses were quick and clear. Easy check in and check out
- Donna (7/5): Good - Central in old town Not really suitable for middle aged couples, two flight of stairs for luggage and bathroom down stairs
- James (9/5): Perfect short stay inside the city walls - Perfect central location (although there is a lot of steps). Perfectly functional for a short stay, like everywhere inside the city walls it can be noisy at night time. Very little, a welcome guide would be appreciated
- Myrto (7/5): Good - Good location That the bathroom was downstairs and the rooms upstairs, so it was a bit uncomfortable.
- Helena (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susan (9/5): If you’re looking for a place to stay for a few days , it is great! Tons of restaurants all within a few minutes - The property had a very charming appeal, especially the loft style bedrooms. Location was great , a lot of stairs but that was to be expected with the location. Do not pack heavy with large luggage if staying in this location. Luka was very helpful and responded to any questions we had very quickly, he set us up with a 3 Island boat cruise for the day, the price was well worth the experience , $50 euros for a full day , transportation to the cruise included! Considering how expensive Europe is , this was a very good deal. It had everything we needed for a 4 night stay, washing machine was a great feature to get caught up on laundry. It was a little small, but considering their was 4 of us it worked out well! The property had a washing machine but not really anywhere to dry it other than finding places to hang the clothing inside , cause there is not a patio
- Mcmahon (10/5): Would highly recommend and would visit again! - Fantastic location, excellent host!
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - it was in the perfect location and very cute on the inside. the shower
- Rachel (8/5): Wonderful! Excellent location, helpful host, tons of character, comfy beds and linens. - Teriffic location, authentic Dubrovnik experience (the property is 300 years old and feels like a real place), very comfy beds and linens, tons of character, and extremely helpful hosts in advance of the trip. A wonderful experience. As long as you are expecting a slightly rustic accomodation (and we were) you will be very happy with Apartment Peti. None of these were problems for us, just things others might like to know.
1. Lots of stairs to get to the apartment (this is just part of Dubrovnik though). But pack accordingly and wear excellent walking shoes (this is good advice for visiting the city regardless)
2. The bathroom shower has excellent water pressure, but is separated from the rest of the bathroom by only a curtain (unusual to Americans, not unusual for seasoned travelers). I suggest you point the nozzle at the wall. The shower head is mounted quite low, so you will likely use this only as a hand held shower. The hot water heater allows for one shower (10-15 minutes) and then needs some time to reheat. It feels like you are showering in a cave, which is either really fun for you or not your thing. We liked it, but it took a minute to develop our showering technique!
3. The kitchen is great to store some food and make some coffee, and there's an induction stovetop. But it's fairly basic, I wouldn't want to try to prepare a gourmet meal.
4.It's pretty dark, probably fabulous in the heat of the summer.
5. It's quirky - again we liked this, but it's probably not for everyone.
- Rachel (10/5): Amazing little hidden treasure - The host was extremely helpful via messages on booking.com
The facilities were amazing a washing machine was a good addition.
The location was perfect!
The check in and check out was super easy.
The bed was comfortable and we all slept well.
The kitchen was equipped well too.
Highly recommended. Nothing!
- Sandra (9/5): Fabulous week in Dubrovnik - Our host arranged transport to and from the airport and on arrival at the old city we were met and taken to the house. Fab location but lots of steps! everything was great
- Gabriela (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karen (8/5): Very good - TV signal kept dropping out. Couldn't watch.
- Indre (9/5): Superb -
