• Sondra (5/5): Stairs and more stairs but that’s Dubrovnik I believe the tour guide said there are more than 5000 stairs - Location- it’s a double edged sword, you’re in the old city but being in the old city means stairs and I mean a lot of stairs . The full sized bedroom was up some really steep stairs on the 4th floor so we opted to sleep in the twin bedroom on the 2nd floor

• Simon (10/5): There was some supplies there which was nice. It is in Old town so not far at all to walk - Loved this place, steep steps up to the top floor bedroom but had its own bathroom. Lovely place though, would stay here again. Loved it, but an old person who struggles to walk wouldn't

• taylor (6/5): - The location was great , the beds were clean , enough towels but almost not enough toilette paper. It would have been nice if the sitting room had air conditioning too. I would never come to this house with kids, and if you have trouble with stairs , stay away from booking this. Both getting to and in the house was incredbily steep. The smell of this home. Was. Sometimes nauseating. Its an old rock home, so think of dank cave smell mixed with pauperie , flowers that was trying to cover up the smell but it made us all nauseous and we couldnt spend much time in there. We hadpeople partying the first night and you can hear anyone walking outaide the house. Use ear plugs. The bathrooms were awkward .
• Keith (7/5): Good - Excellent location with great access to all the attractions of Old Town. Aircon in both bedrooms. Easy to gain access, I just rang them and they gave me the key code to a key safe straight away. As other guests have reported the step to the top bedroom are very steep, almost a ladder so you need to take a lot of care. Wi-fi was poor and often failed. Having said that my phone signal was also poor so its hard to know if its the property or just the location but be prepared for limited internet access.
• Helen (6/5): Fabulous location just very disappointed with communication at the beginning of our stay - Waited 2 hours outside the property for anyone to tell us the keypad number for the key. This is after we sent emails, rang all the ph numbers in the booking. Either no response to emails or no call back. We received an email at 2.30pm (check in was 3pm-4pm) saying there was no water in the property. We were in transit and way too late to find somewhere else. Sent emails asking how long no water. No response. After 38hr travel this last minute situation was horrible. Place was not clean, no shower curtain, smelly fridge,dirty glasses in cupboard, dirty jug.Shame as location was fabulous.
• El (4/5): We know the old house has structural issues, but clean and well-functioning equipment are the basic requirements. For hi - Location Poor kitchen facilities and dirty shower curtain and be aware of ants
• Marios (8/5): Very good - Very good location right above the central road. More than enough bath towels for everyone. Stairs, stairs and stairs. But it's alright stairs are everywhere in the old city.
• Michelle (9/5): A very enjoyable stay! - The location in the old City of Dubrovnik was outstanding but be prepared to walk with your luggage through the walled city and up 58 steps. Pack light. While there we had a water leak. The owners responded instantly by sending a plumber and then someone to clean. There are four floors to this property so be prepared for stairs. The second bedroom is up a very narrow staircase on the fourth floor so my friend left the suitcase on the third floor.

• Mark (7/5): An amazing location in a beautiful city. - Location was first class and we felt part of the old town.
• Mary (4/5): My least favorite stay ever! - Located in the Old City. A package of delicious cookies was left for us. The couch in the “family room” is comfortable enough for sleeping. No on to meet us to check into the property as advertised. Only one key available for 2 travelers. Luckily we did most things together so we didn’t need a second key but one time. AC is actually individual units in 2 bedrooms, so to do the whole apartment, bedroom doors have to remain open. Don’t believe the picture of the fluffy white towels on the listing. It’s actually a basket with 2 worn, sandpaper textured towels and 4 bath mats that I guess were supposed to be used as towels. Stairs outside to get to unit as well as those within the unit are numerous and steep with no handrails in most spots. The listing needs to indicate that it is suitable for fit people only. Internet was slow, even in room with router. There were meal moths in one of the kitchen cabinets. The toilet seat was broken and the shower curtain rod bent. There was mold obvious on the kitchen wall and a stale smell in the unit, which could simply be the fact that the building is very old. My friend dropped something on the floor in the second floor bedroom and said that when she went to retrieve it the amount of dust under the bed indicated that it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. On Sunday evening we were sitting on the outside steps about 8:45 having a glass of wine (for which we had to, by the way, buy a corkscrew since there is none in the unit.) A man in the unit at the top of the stairs opened his window, told us not to drink out there and threw a pot of water at us. There were no instructions indicating that socializing outside was not allowed.
