• Tamara (7/5): Pobyt z wędrówką górską i zwiedzaniem Hallstatt - Bez śniadań, ale jest kawa + ekspres, czajnik, kuchenka, pralka Parking na jeden samochód, ale jak już były dwa, to był kłopot, bo stały jeden za drugim, i trzeba było prosić , żeby jeden drugiego wypuścił. Np. nas rano obudzono, żeby inny gość mógł wyjechać. Trzeba uporządkować podwórko, wtedy będzie więcej miejsca dla samochodów.

• Arthur (5/5): Be careful of getting overcharged at property - Beautiful place, stunning views, worth a visit. There was a problem with this flat for some reason, so we were put in a different one and then charged almost 100 euros more as it had an extra bedroom (unwanted). Felt like this was just a scam. Also the owner pocket called me about 5 times throughout the stay which was kinda weird and annoying after being overcharged.

From two bedroom to one bedroom . Difference is about 100euro after I checked from booking com. Luckily the staffs and the view made up for it

TERRIBLE 1 — I booked this room for August 2024, and when the reservation was confirmed, Booking.com showed a price of €140. However, the host messaged me through a payment website, requesting that I pay €215 for the room. His reason was additional cleaning fees and city taxes. I booked four hotels in Czechia and Vienna, and none of them informed me of a €75 increase after the reservation was confirmed. TERRIBLE 2 — On August 30, I found that the receipt showed I had paid €215, but the host charged me another €215 in the afternoon of the same day through the payment site. I was very angry and asked for an explanation, but the host provided no explanation or apology. Only after I insisted he refund the €215 did he say, “Indeed, I apologize, we charged it back.” His attitude was negative, and I received no response from Booking.com either. TERRIBLE 3 — Twelve days before check-in, I informed the host that I would need to drop off my luggage around noon on October 3. The host simply replied, “Feel very much invited to do so,” without telling me where to leave the luggage or if anyone would be there to meet us. Two days before check-in, on October 1, the host emailed saying that if we would arrive before 3 PM, we should let him know. I replied that I would arrive around noon on October 3 to drop off luggage, but again received no response. His lack of initiative and friendliness was very disappointing. TERRIBLE 4 — On October 3, around noon, my husband and I arrived at the vacation rental, but no one was there. The entrance door was unlocked, but the room door was locked. I immediately informed him that we had arrived, and five minutes later, he replied, “Check-in is at 3 PM.” When I asked where we should put our luggage, he finally said we could leave it at the entrance where no one would enter.

• Joana (3/5): Not a great stay - Not many positives. We were given the wrong apartment and the host just stopped answering me when I asked about it. Location is good though, you can walk to Hallstatt center and leave you car in the private parking. You'll have to manage parking with the other guests. The place is spacious. As I've seen a lot of other people mention here, we booked the Pateo Apartment but were given the Garden one. We were talking through WhatsApp and when I asked about the exchange, the host just never answer me back with an explanation or apology, which seems just rude - I could have gladly accepted the new apartment, just would have been nice to have been acknowledged. There are two apartments, one in the upper floor and the other on the ground floor. We stayed on the ground floor and you can hear everything that goes on upstairs, it's a lot of noise. House is sort of renovated but everything is very cheap, not really well mannered or cared for. Cleanliness was a low point, if you looked under the beds it was full of dust, bathroom not well cleaned, you even have shoe prints on the wall and ceilings, probably from spider killing, lots of spiders there! Shower is very uncomfortable because it is all floor with no protection - curtain doesn't really count, so at the end you'd have a flooded bathroom, no way around it. All in all, this could be a great place, but seems like everything is done the cheapest way possible and guests aren't really important.

• Priya (8/5): Good - Excellent location, kind host, clean apartment. They gave us garden apartment even though we had booked for patio apartment. Their description mentions airport shuttle but they do not offer that, you have to book a taxi. Their parking spot is just infront of the house but was difficult to guess and their private beach spot wasn't that easy either to locate based on the given instructions. A proper Microwave Oven in kitchen would be much more helpful than the washing machine.

Small and quiet side road, nice family homes in walking distance from all sights and city center Host is reachable and friendly on the phone All what had been promised in the description is there BUT It’s a traditional old house that had been renovated, split in two levels for rent of two apartments. Renovation had been done in the cheapest possible way. Cheapest IKEA stuff on the market. It’s a two bedroom apartment for four people. 3 seats in the kitchen! 3 wine glasses! One pan with a wobbly handle. A beside lamp with no socket to plug in. 4 ! hangers for clothes. 2 cushions. We also took the ones from the other bed which were the size of a baby cushion too small for the cover. Holder for toilet rolls falling apart. The plastic shower curtain is ridiculous. After each shower the bathroom gets turned into a pond. Who on earth is still using shower curtains in 2024? There is a lovely back yard- completely rotten. Grass not cut, no garden furniture and possibility to sit outside. The whole apartment cones across as functional but for maximum profit. No charm or style or love to detail. Which is a real pity as the place could be turned into a jewel with little money but ideas and absence for style
• Taryn (10/5): Amazing stay. - The host was very kind and attentive. The kitchen was well equipped. Very close to the main area but far enough that we weren't right by all the big crowds. Big spacious rooms. The shower is a bit awkward and impossible to shower without soaking the floor as there is no ledge, it ls just a curtained section of the bathroom with a shower head. I did specifically ask for the room with the balcony but when we got there they said their system reflected the garden view one. I did show them my reservation which showed other wise but still had to go with the garden one bc the other wasn't cleaned yet. Not a huge deal but still.

• David (10/5): Wonderful & uplifting stay for our group of four in these two apartments. - Great location - wonderful to have just a short walk to the fenicular railway, the town. & lake…so doing it several times a day was easy. The walk away from the lake, following the mountain stress as m to the cascades & waterfalls was even better! Friendly host. Nicely equipped. Good size bedrooms. Lovely little snug on the top floor apartment for breakfast & dinner. No negatives that are worthy of mention.

The Wi-Fi was not great - fairly slow connection and the parking situation was a bit tricky - we had to communicate with the other renters about who is leaving when to make sure no car was blocked. But these were very minor problems and the overall stay was great!

• Premysl (6/5): Amazing location, terrible hospitality. - Amazing location, free parking After the purchase of 2 bedroom apartment for 274 eur, owner Dr. Seeman did not allows our group of four (me, my wife and two colleagues) to check-in, unless we pay additional 100 eur. At 7pm on the rain we have been told take it or leave it. Reason? Because we are four, we need two extra beds - no, we did not, and till the end we believed we have purchased 2 bedroom apartment where beds are. Also, we were given different appartment than we have purchased via booking.
