• John (9/5): A pleasant apartment close to the beach and Frankston without the hustle and bustle - A fully refurbished apartment in an older block of units on the ground floor to the rear of the building in a quiet residential area. The apartment is large and bright with good facilities and amenities. With 2 bedrooms, laundry and fully equipped kitchen it would be perfect for small families or friends sharing and for self-catering. It's a short walk into Frankston (about 500 metres) for restaurants, cafes and pubs, with the family-friendly beach and foreshore about the same distance. Parking is onsite - with additional public parking opposite. -
• Huifang (9/5): An absolutely amazing stay! - Location was perfect for us. Quiet neighbourhood but convenient, as the town centre is just a 5-minute drive away. Walking distance to the beach. The entire apartment was clean, comfortable and was exactly as advertised. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. If only the garage can be just a bit bigger, it will be perfect. We rented a Mazda CX5. It is possible to park in after a few adjustments.

A few maintenance issues we informed the owner of. Superficially the unit is clean, but is due for a spring/deep clean.

• Prue (8/5): We’d be happy to stay here again - great value for money. - Don’t be put off by the dated exterior - the apartment has been completely modernised and is very comfortable. It has everything needed for a longer stay and we liked the fact that condiments etc left by previous guests were left for our use. Very good quality appliances & off-street parking. Convenient location, very close to the beach. Only 4 water/general purpose glasses in a kitchen with 6 of everything else and the cookware options are a bit limited.

• René (10/5): Great location and plenty of amenities in the property and good communication. - Location was ideal for our requirements. There were items to use for our beach day. Utility room was perfect as we had another leg in our travels. The kitchen was stocked with common cooking ingredients. The accommodation book has a lot of information about how to use what is in the property. Nothing to say here.
• Sharon (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment by the beach - Great location, close to the beach and Bayside which has a good mall, cinema and restaurants all within easy walking distance (10 minute walk away). There is a garage which keeps car out of the sun easy fine for mid sized suv. Apartment is very spacious with good self-catering facilities. Air con not very effective. Can really only use the 2 floor fans. The air con unit that blows out cold air whilst heating up the room at the same time. In the morning the bedrooms can get quite hot due to large windows, which only open a little bit. Probably needs ceiling fans in each room. On hot days quite stifling.

• Colin (10/5): Exceptional - By The Beach Frankston is in a great spot, just a short walk to the beach and in a quiet location. The unit was very clean and comfortable and our hostess had left milk and some nibbles for us on our arrival. Very thoughtful. Can certainly recommend this holiday unit and would be happy to stay there again. There was nothing to dislike.
• Peter (8/5): Very good - Very well presented and nearly all features you need. Nice touches with milk and snacks. Plenty of space and Apple TV. Parking is non existent if you have a four wheel drive. Parking not allowed on the grass but that's the only option. No way you can get in the shed. The aircon struggled on a 23 degree day so will be ineffective if temp was warmer.

Bathroom has a good shower. Great TV and Internet, and also has plenty of games for guests. There's quite a few notes around the house. The booklet would have been enough. Cleaner turned up earlier than checkout time. Lighting around the garage would improve parking

The owner was very accessible by text. Very limited ocean view. There is a pleasant garden view. Garage for parking is totally unusable except for the tiniest car and person. There is street parking available. There is a small closet in the bedroom with a very funky smell. The main closet is fine.

• Rance (10/5): Great place. Close to beach, restaurants, shopping and transit Inyo Melbourne! - Great place with a view of ocean from the kitchen window. Beautiful inside; full, large modern kitchen and bath with everything available to cook anything you could want. Bedrooms were large and well appointed. It was located close to the beach and walkable to coffee, restaurants, and shopping. I easily walked to the train station and caught a train into downtown Melbourne to see the sites there. Mass transit is very good and certainly beats driving! Nothing

• Steve (2/5): Extremely unhappy that these issues were never explained to us. As a minimum we need compensation and I am looking into - interior decor This property was seriously misrepresented. It had scaffolding everywhere and I banged my head on it in the dark. The parking space was very difficult to navigate (into and out of garage) and the driveway was outrageous with scaffolding positioned in the driveway making access to parking almost impossible without damaging our vehicle. Furthermore the plug for the garage lighting was dangerous and would never pass any electrical inspection!
• Victoria (7/5): Good - property is spacious and clean . the building is under renovation and is being scaffolded, thought it would be good if travellers were notified prior to that. Hard time trying to manoeuvre the huge SUV with the Scaffoldings all around the building when we first arrive, not aware of the tight bend before the garage. There were squeaky noises from the scaffolds on the two windy nights we were there. upstairs neighbours who stomp their feet from 7 am to 7.45am. All’s good otherwise. Thank You .
