• billrozy (9/5): - Nice old building, very convenient check in and check out, smart locks. Good tv and internet It is not obvious how to find the terrace :) House is old, so it has difficult stairs and low ceilings in the kitchen.

• Zoe (7/5): - The apartment was spacious and had all the facilities available that were required with a kitchen and good sized bathroom. The location of the apartment is excellent with it being right in the centre of halstatt and close to all the shops, cafes and bars. The apartment owner was very prompt in responding to queries and providing information before our visit. The view from the apartment didn't represent what was shown on the images when the booking was made which was slightly disappointing as I wasn't aware we didn't have the balcony as it was listed under the facilities on the booking. There was a terrace however it didn't seem very private and due to the weather we weren't able to use it as it is all open and there is no covering. The right side of the double bed was very noisy when moving on it and this resulted in a poor sleeping experience.

• Yamin (6/5): Place was nice inside but view was nothing sort of acceptable for the higher price - The room waa clean and all the necessities were available. The pictures provided are for all the available apartments and there is no specific mention of which picture is for which apartment. I was disappointed with the view from the unit I was hosted in. The view was really not great as the front houses blocks 90 percent of the view. The host should have clearly mentioned it. So the high price is definitely not worth it.

• Lejla (4/5): We were misled about this apartment - Don’t get me wrong the property is nice and comfy, the problem is that it’s not the property it was advertised and we thought we were booking. There is two apartments I think and we thought we were booking the one upstairs, with the beautiful view and it’s own private terrace to end up in the bottom apartment which doesn’t have this views. The thing is it automatically loses that value for money, we would never book this property for 260eur a night - absolutely not worth it - the view and the terrace is what made it worth it for us.

We’d definitely recommend to people staying in the area and we wish we stayed longer! The balcony view is from the top apartment, not the one we stayed in, however, there is a terrace you can access for the views from the photos.

• James (3/5): Don't trust the photos, only some are of the actual unit - Convenient location Listing was misleading to the point of being fraudulent. The title photo of the balcony with the hat is simply not this unit. There was no balcony and the lake view was blocked by a building. We left a day early.

• Nelson (9/5): Great character property in the middle of the town. - Great location. Cosy feel and quaint styling. Underfloor heating in the bathroom. Well stocked kitchen and very clean. Nespresso coffee machine and selection of tea bags. No microwave.
• Shao-fen (8/5): Very good - Overall it’s good. The so called lakeview is very limited ( for the smaller room) and very different from the photos on the website. Many stairs to the apartment, so if one carries big suitcase, be sure you have strong muscles to move it.

I was surprise at how many tourists there were! I haven’t been there in 30 years. Still beautiful but crowded. Wonderful home overall!!! Loved it!
• Greg (9/5): Paradise Nest - Stunning apartment / house with amazing views and feel. Lots of character and age to the property which we loved. Lots of stairs and steps and low door beams as you would expect with property of this age. The bed mattresses had sunk a bit in the master bedroom at the front and could do with replacing as was not the most comfortable. Would def stay here again if we revisited Hallstatt and recommend.

We were in the middle of Hallstatt and could retreat to our apartment away from the throngs of tourists. The shuttle services was easy to use and quick. We were able to access our property early which allowed us to maximize our time in Hallstatt Nothing was great

You park your car in the nearby car park and a free shuttle bus takes you into the town. The apartment is comfortable, clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

• Jinnattorn (8/5): Love the town but for next trip you can stay outside at nearby town. - The location is ok but from the picture of Booking.com we thought it’s located in front of the lake but actually from this property we can see Just a glimpse of the lake through the window with the block of neighbors’s roof ,so compared to the price it’s a bit expensive. When we search it’s show only the price that at that time we thought it’s reasonable but when we found out that we had to pay the cleaning fee separately and altogether is quite expensive for 1 night so please check the total price very carefully before book and it’s seems that only non-changing and non-refund option.

• Nayef (1/5): Unhealthy appartment - Nothing, it is an unhealthy apartment, a lot of humidity with mouldd smell. We can't stay in the room even for hours, we leave it and take a room in a hotel there. The apartment has mould smell, which makes me caught immediately after opening the door & there is very high humidity. Despite we turn on, two humidity removal machines existed inside it. Also, we found the main door of the apartment is unlocked, & the locking device code doesn't work to close it.

• Courtney (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location in center of Hallstatt, easy to walk to all attractions in the city. Very cozy and comfortable apartment with cute balcony to hang out in the evenings. There was an issue with the complimentary shuttle from the parking lot to hotel which would have delayed us for 30+ minutes. We opted instead to just walk from the parking lot to the hotel. It was a quick nice walk anyways.
• Spyderr (7/5): Good - The apartment is spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, located in the center of Hallstatt. Although we didn't meet the host, everything is well explained, and accessing the apartment is hassle-free. Like all accommodations in Hallstatt, the price is crazy. For €250, one would expect at least the level of a 4-star chain hotel. Unfortunately, if you want to stay here, be prepared to pay at least three times what would be reasonable based on the quality.

• Jennifer (9/5): Quiet apartment above busy lake street with excellent opportunities at salt mine, local playground, and delicious bakery - The apartment was easy to find thanks to excellent instructions from the host. It is located up above the main lake street which was nice because the lower street was more crowded with people taking pictures of the picturesque town. Our favorite parts of the day were early morning before ferries and buses arrived and later in the afternoon/evening when day visitors had left. The three bedrooms were comfortable and unique. Each room in the apartment had charm whether it was a low wooden doorway, stone ceiling, elevated steps, or a small door to a perfectly comfortable balcony overlooking the lower street, lake, and mountains. We enjoyed walking to the park at the far end of town, as well as exploring the Salt Mine via funicular above Hallstatt. Thanks for a private, comfortable place to stay! Favorite spots for food and drinks: Seecafe and Maislinger. The shower was small and dark, several of us got splinters in our feet walking around on the old wooden floors (use the slippers!).

Deceitful advertising as I paid a premium price for a room with terrace and a lake view but had neither, unlike what was suggested in description and photos. Access codes issues. Noisy equipment. Cold bathroom especially after a shower. Didn’t meet any hosts. €70 additional cleaning fee

There are a couple different units and it was unclear from the instructions which unit we had booked. We initially entered the wrong unit as the door code we were given also worked for that unit as well. Host isn’t super responsive to messages so would try calling them if the concerns are urgent/emergent.

There were many spiders inside the apartment (I found 5), also there is a scary room that is to store cleaning materials, it feels like a goblin lives inside it. There were bugs on the walls and the bed. The pic also showed a terrace, there is no terrace and the view is totally blocked by another apt. We just slept and left early in the morning. The residents in this town really don’t care for tourists, pretty apparent in their interaction with tourists.

Good beds, nice sheets on the bed. Comfortable. Perfect. I missed one of the mail with instructions, so we tried to open the wrong door. It would be better to mark the entrance for less understanding tourists.

• Shi (10/5): The apartment is huge, 3 room configuration, makes every family member have their own space. Given we are the only guest - location, tidiness it’s a pity that the apartment does not have a washing machine.
• Lena (10/5): A wonderful and comfortable stay during which we enjoyed spectacular views of Hallstätter See. - This beautiful and cozy Austrian-style house was situated in the center of Hallstatt and had amazing views of the lake from all of the rooms. The house was big and spacious, and was the perfect spot for our family to spend the winter vacation!
