• Margarita (10/5): Great value and amazing hospitality - We came to visit friends in Innsbruck but chose to stay in Axams, as accommodation there was more affordable. Johanna is such a kind and caring host — we didn’t expect her to provide us with a bus pass and even change towels daily, just like in a high-end hotel. The room had everything we needed, and the little town itself is very quiet and peaceful.

• Maik (10/5): Wohlfühlen in der Region Innsbruck - Ein Aufenthalt zum Wohfühlen ! Frau Gruber ist eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin bei der man sich jederzeit willkommen fühlt. Alle Wünsche werden erfüllt und es ist jederzeit Platz für ein Gespräch übrig. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen ohne dabei weit vom Schuß zu sein. Das Bett war sehr bequem und es war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Eine Bushaltestelle ist in 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Die Verbindung nach Innsbruck dauert ca 20 Minuten und wird alle 10-20 Minuten befahren. Eine Innsbruck Card, welche im Pensionspreis inklusive war, wurde uns direkt nach Ankunft von Frau Gruber übergeben. Mit dieser ist der gesamte öffentliche Nahverkehr rund um Innsbruck kostenlos nutzbar. Tolles Goodie, wir haben unser Auto nicht gebraucht. Wer eine familiäre, herzliche Unterkunft sucht, ist hier absolut richtig. Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr sehr gerne wieder ! Ich wüßte nichts.
• MaiteBcn2 (9/5): - La anfitriona muy amable en todo momento con sus indicaciones, siempre con una sonrisa. No hay nada que pueda decir que no me gustara, ya que el único problema era la barrera idiomática y Johanna intentó en todo momento comunicarse.

Super easy to take the bus there and other places. Johanna is a gem and it was great to get to know her during our 4 days in town. Breakfast every morning was delicious and fueled our days of hiking. • Helena (4/5): Bohužel zklamání - Jediné pozitivum je snaha paní Joanny, která ve svém věku přes 80 let o ubytování pečuje, což na čistotu nemohu říct ani slovo, každý den čisté ručníky a ustláno. Zařízení je staré, postel celou noc vrzala při každém pohnutí. Z vedlejšího pokoje bylo slyšet a nejhorší bylo, když se vedle sprchovali o půlnoci, tak to bylo, jako by se sprchovali nám vedle hlavy. Zařízení velké retro. Na jedno přespání při dlouhé cestě asi dobré, ale rozhodně ne jako dovolená. Velké zklamání byla snídaně, na malém talířku pro 2 osoby ě plátky sýra, dva plátky šunky a 4 mini rajčátka, každý jedno malé máslíčko. Bohužel obrovské zklamnání z celého pobytu

• Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Axam has a reliable bus service and approx 20 mins into Innsbruck town centre, this is made easier by the visitor travel card. The village of Axams is beautiful, with quaint Austrian houses and shops nearby. There are lots of hiking trails nearby too. The property is clean and well equipt, lovely breakfast and tea/coffee juice. There is an area where you can make your own drinks and lunches etc. The garden has a seating area overlooking the mountains. What makes this propery outstanding is the host Johanna, she was lovely and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, it was like visiting your favourite aunt! I would stay here again.

• Alan (10/5): Will stay here again next time we visit Innsbruck area. - What makes this property is the host. She is a kind person that has been renting out rooms in her house for about 50 years - long before booking.com and the like. You will definitely be engaged with her and she's knowledgable on the area and the history and is ready to assist. The portion of the house that is rented is set apart from her quarters, so it is not awkward. There is a dedicated guest dining area where she serves a nice breakfast. The is a small kitchenette if you wanted to cook something simple. There is also a small common area for playing cards, socializing, or planning the days events. We liked the location, particularly because we had a car and parking in Innsbruck can be tricky or expensive. You get a free bus pass if you stay at least two nights and the #404 bus is only a few blocks away and take you right downtown in about 40 minutes - about the same time as driving and parking. And lodging away from downtown Innsbruck is generally less expensive. Let her know if you are coming by car because Google will take you to the wrong street. The car entrance is located on the opposite side but you need to drive a bit to get there.
• Juliette (10/5): A wonderful place and an incredible host ! - Everything was perfect ! The location is great, the landscapes are amazing, the buses easy to use (and free). Haus stratton is very comfortable, the bedroom was cosy and the common room with the kitchen facilities were a real plus for us. The breakfast is great too. But the best is the kindness of Johanna, who makes of her home a real heaven of peace. She is very considerate, thoughtful, and gave us very good advice. We had a wonderful stay ! Nothing, eveything was perfect !

• Arwen (10/5): An amazing host, location and holiday. - The best host, a lovely person who goes out of her way to ensure you have the great stay. I’m Vegan and she made me vegan breakfast options every morning. The rooms are so comfortable with great views, the location easy to get into Innsbruck by bus - alongside receiving a welcome card that meant buses were free. A wonderful experience, hope to come again.
• Tobias (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about our stay at Haus Stratton was just perfect. The place is located near the city of Innsbruck with a beautiful view of the mountains and there is also parking possibility right next to the house. Hiking trails are also very close and are easily accessible with a bus. The best part of our stay was definitely the owner Ms Gruber, who was extremely sweet and helpful with everything. She gave us a lot of useful tips, managed to cook breakfast everyday and arranged welcome cards for us with which we were able to have free bus rides and more. We would love to come back one day! Cannot think of anything.

Greatly recommend. - Breakfast was very good and fillig, always on time and the lovely host was prepared for any request; more milk, bread, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. The location was sublime, bathroom with a view of the alps and a balcony overlooking an entire mountine range. The location was easily accessible by bus from innsbruck. I have very little to add here. There was an issue with the internet but it was solved the next day.

A parking lot in front of the house, a cosy room with a comfortable bed, and blinds for a relaxing night. We could use a fridge, hot plates and a kettle in a breakfast room. Breakfasts offered a varied selection of food with strong and very good coffee. The owner, lady Johanna, is very kind and helpful, we felt like we were staying at our granny's house. She also arranged a visitor card for us so we got some cable cars for free and we could go hiking on the tops of mountains. We really recommend House Stratton and hope to come back soon.

The host Johanna is a lovely human being who knows a lot about the area and can assist you with your questions. She will help you put in whatever way she can. If i come to Innsbruck again I’m definitely returning here. Thank you Johanna.

We were spoilt with Johanna's delicious breakfast every morning. It was easy to get to and from by bus and on arrival we got 'welcome cards' to use pubic transport for free around Innsbruck. We highly recommend this place and will be back, thank you Johanna :)
• Berta (10/5): 11/10, absolutely would stay again - Johanna, the host, is absolutely fantastic. My best friend and I loved every minute we spent at her house, we got breakfast and a card for free transport and really good chats! The view is amazing and there's a frequent bus into Innsbruck that takes 30 mins. There are only a couple of rooms so the house is nice and quiet and there's plenty of privacy.

She made the most amazing breakfast every day and even packed us a scrumptious lunch with egg and a salt shaker. The room was big with an on suite bathroom and the view was out of this world. The accommodation was linked to Innsbruck by bus which was free with the welcome card. I would definitely go back to stay here again. There was nothing I would change.
