• Alessandro (10/5): Tutto ok - Posizione centrale. Spiaggia sottostante bellissima. Pulizia. Tranquillità. Nulla. Se si è in macchina, tutte le aree di parcheggio sono a pagamento, però la spiaggia è libera e non si paga nemmeno la doccia.

Met the host on our checkout and she was so kind! Would love to stay here in the future. Internet was a little slow, but we came for the sun!

• Monteiro (9/5): lovely owner and great location - the bed was really comfortable and the location was great! it’s 1 bus closer to the old town. the private bathroom could be inside the room but besides it was all good.

• Michelle (8/5): Very good - The location of Karolina's villa is amazing! Super close to a lot of food options and walking distance of many beach options. The place was clean and comfortable. Karolina was very accommodating and great communication. A lot of stairs to bring up luggage. Kind of see through front door, so little privacy but is located on a very quiet street so it's okay.

• Tracey (10/5): PERFECT LOCATION - Location was perfect. The beach was 100 metres down a pathway. Shops and bars 100 metres away and wasn't noisey at night. Host very friendly and helpful. Would have liked outside space but that was our fault for not reading the info. It didn't spoil our stay. The host let us use her patio.
• Divya (10/5): Exceptional - The hostess Karolina was amazing. We arrived around 12:30, and she had the room ready for us, albeit slightly before check-in time. We had reached out in advance, and she had mentioned that we could leave our luggage, grab some food and she'd have the room ready for us in any case. She was such an empathetic host and went out of her way to ensure that we would have a nice stay. After checking in, the air conditioner wouldn't turn on immediately and she even suggested that we could look for another accommodation for the entire duration of stay since it would be a hassle for us to move back and forth. Although it was not necessary in the end, since we figured out the issue with the AC. I had developed a neck pain due to how high the pillow was and she went out of her way to find a smaller pillow that could work for me which really did help with the neck pain. The balcony was super useful to dry clothes and towels after going to the beach. The bathroom was quite spacious and had a bathtub. She also provides cleaner towels on request. The entire villa is surrounded by a lot of greenery and a lot of flowers. It probably was our fault that we didn't read properly but we assumed that the room with the balcony included a kitchen since it was on the pictures. In all fairness, it never mentioned a presence of kitchen anywhere. Maybe the wording could be rephrased to emphasise that it has no kitchen and it's only available in the studio. But it's not even a problem with the apartment. The bath didn't have a place to hang the shower head so it was slightly uncomfortable to shower having to use the hand shower.

• Bernie (1/5): Bad - The location was fine and it was clean The host was unfriendly and unhelpful. The accommodation was misrepresentation. Accommodation was far too small. Facilities were totally inadequate for a stay beyond 2 days. No cleaning or changing of towels and no room to even sit down to make or drink a cup of coffee. One of the worst experiences ever.
• Joshua (8/5): Excellent stay but beware when booking you may not get the balcony room... - The central location of villa Karolina had us set up in lapad which was easily accessible and beautiful only 10 minutes away from Old Town and close enough to port gruz that we had plenty to go! The villa was clean and comfortable with plenty of cool areas to hide away from the Croatian heat! We were a little disappointed when we arrived at the villa due to the fact the room we book showed pictures of a balcony terrace, an oven and other facilities that were not available... When we were a little confused upon arrival to the studio villa we looked again on the advert for our booking where we could see a few pictures of the room we stayed in hidden between the room we thought we had booked! There was no other indication on the booking page that there were two rooms with no choice in staying so we do feel a little cheated and that we overpaid thinking we were going to have a better room! However this doesn't mean the room we were in wasnt a nice room it's just not the room we booked and paid for!
• Jackie (8/5): I picked the right spot. - Location is excellent, Karolina is so helpful and lovely view from the balcony. It’s crazy how the turtles RUSH over to be petted. The cover on the bed was not wide enough or cozy.

• Libuša (10/5): Peaceful stay in lovely place. - Villa Karolina is situated just a few stairs above the lovely pedestrian zone full of restaurants and bars leading to the beaches and nice coastline walk. It offers a peaceful space, fully equipped kitchen with dining table, spare bed and very comfortable double bed behind the devideing wall so one can rest peacefully even during the daylight. During our stay the heat outside was extreme but inside the apartment we had a pleasant temperature. A/C worked well. We definitely recommend the apartment to anyone who would like to spend a nice time in busy Dubrovnik but away from city hustle. You can easily get to the Old town by direct frequent bus No.6. We loved everything!
• Christina (9/5): Superb - The location was close to the beach and some great restaurants. It was also easy to hop on a bus to get to the Old Town. The villa didn’t come with shampoo or shower gel, which would have been great. However, there is a nearby supermarket where you can buy these items, or you might want to pack them yourself.

• Katerina (9/5): Superb - I really liked the location and the room and the host. Having a bottle of cold water and a refillable shower gel in the bathroom is so cheap and can make a good impact. It wasn't a prob for us though just saying.
• Gianfranco (10/5): Great place to stay in Dubrovnik. Very Recommended - A 5 minute walk from Uvala Lapad beach and close to a pedestrian area with many clubs and restaurants. Just 15 minutes by bus from the old town. The owners Karolina and her mother are very kind. You are given the keys upon arrival and you are independent for your travels. Possibility to leave your luggage after check out. Room on the first floor of a villa, very comfortable and clean, equipped with kettle, AC fridge and balcony. Private bathroom. nothing. If I really have to say one: no shower only bath tube.
• Ebony (7/5): Nice place to stay for a few nights. - Property was very close to the beach, close to a few restaurants and bars. Not far from a big supermarket. Only 10/12 min Uber ride from the old town which was fine for us. We only went once. The apartment we had has a separate bathroom not in the room. I left the air con whilst we were out for a few hours and came back and someone had switched it off. Didn’t feel very private. The lady’s mom who met us wasn’t very friendly. The address given when booking for taxi didn’t take us to the spot it should have so took us a while to find it.
• Laura-jane (10/5): Great location. Wonderful hosts. - The owners were so fantastic. I fell and twisted my ankle and she gave me her mother's spare crutches and arranged a taxi to the hospital. Location is great for the beach and promenade and a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. Apartment has everything.
• Dariusz (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable place, good location, short distance to the beach, restaurants, bus stop and taxi station. What is more, at Villa Karolina there are not so mamy stairs to climb, which is rarely found in Dubrovnik area. The host- Karolina is very kind and helpful person always ready to help and offer an advice. I spent very nice time there.😘
• Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, loved the cat and tortoises, friendly family, air-conditioning worked, fridge to use and quaint little balcony. Greatful we could leave our stuff on checkout day and pick it up later. I know we didn't ask about this, so it is not a criticism, but available beach towels would have been awesome as well as shower gel.
• Alan (10/5): A hidden gem - The location is fantastic, just behind a lovely pedestrian area which had nice cafés and restaurants. Two minutes walk in one direction takes you to the beach, two minutes walk in the other direction took you to a bus stop making it easy to get to the old town. The apartment is spotless, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our host was lovely and helpful. There is nothing not to like.

• Chris (9/5): Superb - Amazing place to stay in Dubrovnik, a little bit far from the city center but very near the beach. I love the view, the room is clean is comfortable. Can't use kitchen, but fine because there is kettle and a ref in the room.
• Steven (9/5): Superb - Great location, 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. Walking along the coastline there are many spots to sit down and get in the water. The bus stop is also close by. Bus 6 takes you to the Old Town and runs every 10 minutes. The pedestrian area is quite busy with cafes and restaurants but you don't hear them at all.
• Jekaterina (10/5): Great stay - Super location - close to the beach and only 10-15 minutes (bus or bolt) to the old town. The location itself is very beautiful, you can go for safe evening walks and enjoy the sea breeze. Hosts were incredible - they even have an orange fluffy cat and two turtles (fastest turtles you will ever see!). Would definitely come here again, thank you for making our stay amazing :) Everything was great

• Mihaela (2/5): all together not too bad because we are not a demanding family, the price was good given the location of the apartment a - i liked the location , it was close to beach and shops first , the pictures shows garden , that was the main reason I booked the garden but our apartment was outside the property shown in the pics so the garden was not accessible to us , we had to put the clothes to dry outside the door practically on the street ( must mention that that was a private road not many passed by but still tourists and people who lived there were passing …no cars that was great 🙁. the address was wrong was said stonska 6 reality is stonska 4 . the sheets on the bed were bad quality so uncomfortable , rough , bed too hard . the elderly lady not a great host but at least she was not invasive we saw her 3 times in 5 days and only because we was looking for her.

It wasnt the one I thought I saw on the pic. It was a studio instead of one bed room apartment. Didnt get to use the Garden as we didnt have access to it. The kitchen has nothing in it. Completely empty cupboards. Wifi signal was bad.
