Mario (9/5): Superb - The apartment is really nice, very large.and nicely equipped. Even though it was a 4th floor, the stairs were easy. Doña Yolanda, the caretaker who lives in the building, is really nice and went out of her way to make sure the stay was comfortable. Providing a coffemaker with ground coffee and sugar is a nice touch. Downstairs there is a bakery where you can get fresh buñuelos in the morning, and an empanada place if you need a quick snack. Also, plenty of supermarkets in a 3 block radius. The location is excellent: right behind the Pablo Tobón theater, 2 blocks from both Parque Boston and Placita de Florez, and a block from Avenida la Playa. HOWEVER, be warned that it is an EXTREMELY NOISY location at most hours of the day (Carrera 39 is full of diesel trucks, motorcycles and cars that blow their horns just for the heck of it). If you are very sensitive to noise, better bring earplugs. Also, no washing machine, which is a pity if you need the apt for longer stays.
